Part XVIII: Beaches of Durfa Part 2

"We are having a beach volleyball. In the girl’s game the teams are Me and Potash-dono against Flower-san and Catalia-dono." Kireina announced and the boys cheered.

"Let's start." Flower told them.

"You do the honors, Potash-dono." Kireina told her as she gave her the ball.

"As you wish, Lady Kireina." Potash replied as she went back and served the ball.

"Potash is bouncy as ever." Sun told Fossil.

"I agree, Your Imperial Majesty." Fossil replied as they watch them play volleyball.

"Lady Catalia!" Flower shouted as Catalia was stunned by the bouncing of their chests.

"I-I can't believe I am surrounded by big chests here." Catalia told herself.

"Lady Catalia, are you alright?" Flower asked her.

"I-I am fine. Let's continue." Catalia answered as she stared at Flower's chest. Flower realized where she was looking at and she hugged her.

"Wh-what are you doing, Miss Flower." She replied in shock when she was hugged by Flower.

"Cheer up, Lady Catalia." Flower told her and they were shocked of what they are doing.

"Lady Catalia is very lucky to receive that treatment." Sun told Fossil.

"Lucky indeed." Fossil replied.

"Lady Catalia had some special treatment there." Berchard told them.

"Very special indeed." Andrew replied.

"Catalia have an inferiority because of the size of her chest." Gabriel told them.

"How did you know that?" Bryan asked him.

"We are childhood friends. She is very fond of chest for some reasons that I don't know. For her... chest size matters." Gabriel replied.

"You still like her, didn't you?" Charles asked him.

"Yeah, but his grace the duke won't allow it." Gabriel replied.

"That's a big problem, brother." Andrew told him.

"Yeah. We can't do anything about it. She is of royal blood and I am just commoner." Gabriel responded.

"Don't worry. The duke isn't present. Maybe you can spend time with her." Berchard told him.

"Try it." They added and they all laughed.

"Lady Catalia, you serve the ball." Flower told her as she gave her the ball.

"Sure." She replied and went on the back to serve the ball.

The ball was served and it was hit back by Potash. Meanwhile Meishu was watching them as he continued eating. Sun was watching them on the sides when the ball hit his face.

"O-ouch..." Sun said as he was hit by the ball.

"A-are you alright, Sun?" Flower asked her as she bent to face him.

"S-senior, are you alright?" Potash asked him as she bent to face him.

"I-I-I am alright." Sun stuttered as he saw their chest and blushed. He tried to look everywhere to avoid looking them directly.

"It looks like you are all red?" Flower asked him as she sat down beside him.

"I-I am alright. It is just hot. Fossil give them something to drink." Sun replied and ordered Fossil.

"Huh? Fossil? He isn't here. He went away earlier." Flower told him.

"W-w-w-w-what! I will punish that puny boy later! Be calm. Be calm. Be calm." Sun told himself.

"Here drinks some cola. Let me open it for you." Flower told him.

"T-thank you, Flower." Sun replied with nervousness.

"No problem." She replied as she gave him the cola.

Sun heard the fizz of the cola and Flower gave it to him. His nervousness was felt by Flower when he took the cola.

"Let me help you drink it." Flower told him as she put it in his lips and she tilted it.

"Pour it gently." Sun told him as she tilted the cola bottle.

"I know where you are looking at! I am just aiding you." Flower replied with anger.

"I-I can't breathe." Sun told her and he lifted his hands and it bounced.

They looked at each other and Flower slapped him which made him redder. Flower went back and they started playing again. The ball went here and there. Bouncing chests here and there. Meishu was hit by the ball when Potash missed the ball.

"Ouch!" Meishu shouted.

"Are you alright, Lord Meishu?" Potash asked him.

"It hurts, actually." He replied.

"Where are you hurt, Lord Meishu?" She asked him as she bent to look at his face.

"It just hit my face." Meishu replied as his face became red and his nose starts bleeding.

"L-lord Meishu, you are bleeding. Here is an ice." Potash noticed his nose and put an ice on his face.

"Onii-channnnnnn!!! Baka! Pervert! How can you keep staring at her chest?!" Kireina shouted at him as she approached him and slapped his face and his bleeding stopped.

"S-s-sorry, Lord Meishu. I didn't mean to disrespect you." Potash apologized to him.

"Potash-dono, please stay away from my pervert brother." Kireina told him.

"S-sorry, Lady Kireina." She apologized to Kireina.

"Don't apologize to me, Potash-dono. Let's continue our game." Kireina told her as they went back in to the game.

"Please do the serving, Lady Kireina." Potash replied.

"Here I come." Kireina stated and she served the ball.

"Miss Flower, do the honors." Catalia told her.

"Sure." Flower replied as she smashed the ball.

"Not yet!" Potash replied as she hit the ball back at them.

"Floral Smash!" Flower shouted.

"Kalios Hit!" Potash shouted as she hit the ball.

"Floral Swipe!" Flower shouted.

"Kalium Smash!" Potash shouted.

The two were exchanging hits while Kireina and Catalia were staring at them.

"These two-bouncy bouncy are too competitive." Catalia told herself.

"Lady Kireina, do the honors!" Potash shouted as the ball went over to their side.

"Cherry chest is perfect." Sun told himself.

"I agree, Your Imperial Majesty." Fossil replied.

"Wh-what?" Sun asked in surprise that Fossil is there.

"I am here, Your Imperial Majesty." Fossil replied as he was standing there like a bamboo.

"Here I come!" Kireina shouted as she smashed the ball.

"Lady Catalia, do the finishing touch." Flower shouted as they received the smash.

"Agreed." Catalia replied as her cute stature hit the ball.

The ball hit Catalia's chest and she fell.

"Lady Catalia, are you alright?" Flower asked her as Catalia was knocked down.

She was healed by Flower and they stopped the game.

"All right, let's have some barbeque." Catalia told them.

"Yay!" Everyone shouted.

Fossil used his magic to create a barbeque grill while Sun ignited the flame and they started cooking the food they brought.

Flower cooked the meat while Sun kept the fire from dying and Catalia with the help of Potash and Kireina were setting the table. Gabriel and Berchard were cooking the fishes while Bryan were washing the fishes and Andrew with the help of Charles were fishing.

After an hour of preparing they finished cooking.

"Our menu for today. Grilled Barhambrian Beef, Grilled Imperial Gold Corn, Grilled Barhambrian Trout, Grilled Cardencean Chicken, Grilled Barhambrian Sardines with Imperial Tomato and Onions as stuffing, Grilled Shogunate Squid, and Grilled Dwarvinian Catfish." Catalia told them as she put the dishes om the table.

"Yay!" Everyone shouted and started eating.

They ate and ate until they finished every dish they have.

"Let's play another game. I brought some liquor with me." Sun told them.

"What is that game your Imperial Majesty?" Fossil asked.

"Let's play last man standing." Sun told them.

"Let's play." Kireina responded.

"Kireina." Meishu called her and he gave her a displeased look.

"Well then, I will be the bartender. First round. Kandainos Beer 3.5% alcohol." Sun told them.

Sun filled their glasses with the beer and they drank 3 glasses each.

"Next up. Altair Malt Beer 5.9% alcohol." Sun told them and served.

They all drank 3 glasses except Bryan who only drank 2 glasses and quitted.

"Take this, Bryan. You will feel better." Sun gave him an egg.

"Thanks, master." He replied.

"Well then, Alforgian Dry Wine 15% alcohol." Sun told them as he showed the bottle and served them.

The remaining contestants drank 3 glasses each except Catalia who vomited the wine at the 2nd glass and lost. Charles vomited on the 1st glass and lost.

"Here this would make you feel better." Sun gave them an egg.

"Thank you, Your Imperial Majesty." Catalia replied.

"Thank you, Master." Charles replied.

"Let's proceed. One of the beasty liquor I know. Taiyou Gin 35.7% alcohol." Sun told them and showed them.

The remaining contestants drank all 3 glasses each except Andrew who vomited on the 2nd glass and Fossil who vomited on the 1st glass. The two lost.

"Take this. This will make you feel better." Sun gave them both an egg.

"For the final round. This is the strongest I know. The Imperial Reserve Gin Number 404. The alcohol content is 50%. We call this the Error Gin." Sun told them as he showed them the bottle and served.

The only one who drank the 3 glasses is Flower. The others vomited it at first glass.

"Onii-chan. It looks like it is my first time to see you lost a liquor game." Kireina told him.

"Imouto, we don't have a 50% liquor in our country. This really tastes like error. Worth a shot.

"This is the strongest alcohol in our country. The Imperial Family is the only one who have this in storage." Sun told him.

"I see. It seems you are strong when it comes to drinking liquor?" Meishu asked him.

"Nope. I rarely drink Error Gin. This would only be served before a trip to a large battle." Sun told him.

"I see. I see." Meishu replied.

"Let's swim!" Kireina invited them.

"Let's go!" They replied and went to the sea.

They all swam in the sea until the sunset.

"Woah! The sunset is so beautiful here." Flower told Sun as they swam together.

"Yeah. You can see the sun a lot better than in the capital's seaside park." Sun replied.

"Tomorrow we will be on our way home." Flower sighed.

"Yeah. Our diplomatic trip will end tomorrow morning." Sun added.

Meanwhile, Gabriel and Catalia was talking to each other.

"Tomorrow morning, I will leave for the Solar Naval Academy." Gabriel told her.

"I guess we would be much farther." Catalia told him.

"I think so too. I would miss you again if that happens." Gabriel told her.

"At least, you will make your dreams come true." Catalia told him.

"It might be far but I promise I will come back." Gabriel replied.

"Everyone! We are cooking dinner." Fossil suddenly appeared and called them.

They went up from the water and started cooking. Fossil brought the food, Flower and Catalia cooked the food.

"Miss Flower, are you dating His Imperial Majesty?" Catalia asked out of nowhere.

"N-no. We are not dating, Lady Catalia." Flower replied as she blushed.

"You two seemed very close, I thought you two were dating." Catalia told her.

"Nope. It is just normal for us to be like that. We are childhood friends after all." Flower replied as they continued to cook the food and he looks at Sun.

"You are very lucky to be in touch with each other. My father stops Gabriel from being in touch with me." Catalia told her.

"Sun was like that back then. He is just rebellious that his mother had nothing to do with it but his rebellious nature keeps the Sun Empire intact. He controls everything in the government which makes it act faster than what other government can do." Flower replied.

"You really know each other?" Catalia asked her.

"Yeah. I think you and Gabriel are close, aren't you?" She replied and asked.

"He is my childhood friend. They moved to Kandainos after a problem and, after that, father prevented him from visiting me in the manor." Catalia told her.

"I see. Maybe you just need a little push." Flower replied.

"How?" She asked.

"Try having a date with him." Flower responded.

"How can I do that? He will be leaving for the Sun Empire tomorrow. I may never have a chance." She asked him and told her problem.

"I see. That is a big problem. It means you need to wait for him." Flower replied.

"No matter how long I wait, my father will always get in the way." She told her.

"As of now, you can do is wait. We might not get what we wanted now but we will get it someday if it is right for us. Always remember that." Flower stated her.

"I understand, Miss Flower." Catalia replied.

"The food is ready!" Flower announced.

"I will get it someday." Catalia told herself.

They ate their dinner and a firework show from a sailboat was launched.

"It's very beautiful." Flower told Sun as they were sitting on the sand that time.

"Yeah. Those fireworks are as beautiful as you." Sun unconsciously said.

"Wh-what?" She asked him as she blushed.

"Those fireworks are as beautiful as you." He repeated.

"I-I-idiot! Don't compliment me out of the blue!" She shouted at him.

"S-sorry." Sun apologized sincerely.

"I am just kidding. It's been years since we spent a day like this." She replied happily and hugged him.

Meanwhile, Berchard along with Andrew, Bryan and Charles are pushing Gabriel to talk Catalia who was watching the fireworks alone, in the end they pushed him to do so.

"Catalia, I am sorry I am not there for you at those times you need me." Gabriel told Catalia.

"I am sorry that my father treats you badly." Catalia told him as she hugged him.

"It's okay. I understand that I am just a commoner and your father won't accept me." Gabriel replied.

"I will wait for you no matter how long." Catalia told him as they watch the fireworks.

"Stay away from my daughter!" Catacius suddenly appeared out of nowhere and he was pointing a sword on Gabriel.

"I am sorry, Your Grace." Gabriel replied as he was about to hit by Catacius' sword.

"Halt!" Sun shouted as he blocked his sword.

"Your Imperial Majesty." Catacius responded in shock as he was surprised.

"What are you doing? This man is not doing anything wrong. You don't have the right to punish my trainee." Sun told him.

"Trainee?" Catacius replied.

"Yes. By tomorrow he will go with me to the Sun Empire as a trainee for the Navy." Sun told him.

"Y-your Imperial Majesty? Beware of this man!" Catacius replied.

"Is there anything wrong?" Sun asked him.

"N-nothing, Your Imperial Majesty." Catacius answered.

"Well then, let's get back to the manor. We will be early for tomorrow." Sun told them

They changed their clothes, packed their things and went to the manor.
