Chapter 3: Together forever

NOTES: The story was written for the contest "THE 5 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT YOU", announced by Down Hanna's Ally and The Writers' Game

Everything was ready.

The small but beautiful church that the two newlyweds had chosen had been decorated: classic, romantic and very simple style, all under the control of the only man connoisseur of fashion and elegance, Kurt.

On the external facade of the church, on the sides of the entrance door, there were two small columns of flowers that would have accompanied the bride to the altar.

The central nave was decorated with flowers also arranged on the sides of the benches, on the altar and near the bride and groom; and finally, to give a touch of sweetness, each counter was covered with silk drapes stopped at the end by a beautiful light pink bow.

The flowers arranged throughout the chapel were the same ones that made up the small bouquet of the bridesmaids: white and pink gerberas, with the addition of a fragrant branch of white lily of the valley. The floral composition was aimed at symbolizing happiness and simplicity.

Certainly, the rice could not be missing, which were placed on the sides of the exit door, in boxes in the shape of a star and musical notes: two symbols representing the couple. And as a final touch, once out in front of the church, friends and relatives would fly balloons into the sky, each of which, inside, contained a wish for the newlyweds.

Everyone would be present at the event of the year, even unthinkable people like Sue or Shelby, Rachel's mother.

Rachel by her side would have Mercedes, Tina, Quinn, Santana and Brittany, her five bridesmaids who wore a 1950s-style pink dress for the occasion. Finn, on the other hand, would have at her side Puck, Kurt, Blaine, Sam, Mike and Artie, the six witnesses and best friends of him.

Rachel was walking down the aisle on her dads arm with fear of tripping, her legs were shaking so much, and making a fool of herself, making everyone laugh. She was inevitably nervous like any bride: his fears and her paranoia were taking hold of her, however; she just had to look towards the altar, where Finn was waiting impatiently with a huge smile, to be able to calm down.

"Dear friends, we are gathered here to celebrate the marriage of Finn Hudson and Rachel Barbra Berry," announces the priest.

«This is a sacred rite, an ancient rite; as Finn and Rachel are preparing to join their lives, it is important to understand that all of you have participated in building their lives together and will certainly continue to do so in their near future. '

"Rachel, you are my best friend, my half, the one who is always ready to support me even in the worst moments, who believes in me when I don't and who keeps telling me how wonderful I am. You are my muse. I promise to take care of you, to laugh with you, to love and protect you; not a day will go by without asking me what I did to deserve such a fortune. Forever." Finn confessed his vows in a melodious, sweet voice. He was enchanted by the beauty of him and by those eyes that expressed more than words could have done.

"Finn, you are my best friend, the love of my life and from now on thanks to you I will be able to fly. I'm not afraid to dream, I don't care who I could become if I couldn't share it with you. You're my hero. This fable is our reality. Finn, I promise to love you not from now on because I've always loved you, but I promise to continue loving you like the first day with all my heart. Forever. »She said her vows in turn of her Rachel in a voice broken by tears, making one of hers fall from her face.

"And now I declare you husband and wife" concluded the priest who was interrupted by the heat of applause; the guests were all in tears, moved.

"Now you can kiss the bride"

Finn gently placed a kiss on Rachel's lips,

it wasn't just a kiss

but a promise of love.

Their love was meant to live,

to have that "forever"

which is said only once e

lasts a lifetime.

Ciaoooo !! Here I am with another Finchel story, this time their time has come.

The story takes place during 3x14: we know that after winning the Regionals Finn and Rachel get married, or at least they should, but then Quinn has an accident, but not in my story.

This is the missing moment of the show, the moment we couldn't have and that I think many of you have dreamed just like me.

Before starting with the thanks I want to say that for the phrases of the sarcedote and the promises I was inspired by Grey's Anatomy and The McLeod Sisters, I liked some phrases and that emotions that I felt hoping to transmit it to you too and so, well I couldn't not insert them.

For this story there are so many people to thank: I want and I have to thank first of all my cousin Vivana for being the first to read it and give me the advice the story needed, then I thank my sister for giving me so many ideas, without she the story would not have been born because ... well, just talking about something else gives me crazy ideas that I then can not help but put on paper. Finally, my thanks will go to you that I hope you will take some time to read it and if you want to let me know what you think I will be happy; comments are always welcome positive and not;) Finchel like Klaine and Quick are my favorite couples as were Monchele .... and I would really like to know what you think.
