-Back to the maze-

"{Petrificus Totalus}" I said, casting the spell at an Imp and paralyzing it.

I then created a shield, protecting myself from a large rock thrown at me by a troll.

And looking at this troll I saw it preparing to throw another rock at me, but before it did that I pointed my wand at it, and from its tip a cloud of toxic and deadly gas came out, heading towards it.

I cast the Bubble-Head spell on it, causing the toxic gas to be trapped inside a bubble around the troll's head, forcing it to inhale the gas completely.

And without paying attention to the troll that started to convulse, I threw myself to the side, dodging a ball of web thrown at me by an acromantula.

And waving my free hand I used my telekinesis magic to levitate this acromantula, before throwing it in front of the troll who began to fall.

And the disoriented acromantula could only stare desperately at the troll's large body as it fell on top of it.

*Bang!*

And the impact of the troll's body hitting the ground caused everything to shake, and seeing that the creatures around me were trying to maintain their balance, I took the opportunity to attack them.

And my first target was a boggart, who was hidden in the shadows while trembling and looking at me, unable to transform into what I feared most.

"{Riddikulus} {Repulso}" and I easily got rid of it.

I then turned around, and seeing a group of spiders I cast a {Bombarda} into their midst.

And as soon as the spell hit the ground between them a small but strong and concentrated explosion occurred, with its impact dismembering or killing the magical spiders.

And after doing so, I spun around nimbly, casting a quick and silent {Flipendo} at a pixie that was sneaking up behind me, before casting a {Stupefy} at an angry Ghoul that appeared right after.

And I thought these were the last creatures I had to defeat, but before I could take a break to rest or breathe I felt some magical signatures approaching me from above.

And looking up I saw three more acromantulas emerging from the top of the maze walls.

"I'm already getting tired of all these stupid giant spiders," I said, scowling at the acromantulas that were glaring at me, ready to attack.

And I wasn't complaining because I was having to fight magical creatures... No, actually, facing dangerous beings actually made me excited.

The real problem for me was that these were probably the hundredth acromantula I saw, and after having to deal with so many of these annoying spiders I was getting tired of them.

"I've already made up my mind. After all this tournament and graveyard confusion is over I'm going to make a quick and explosive visit to Aragog's nest," I muttered.

And without waiting for the acromantulas to attack me, I made the first move.

'{Glacius}' I attacked them, trying to freeze them in place.

However, the acromantulas showed that they had excellent reflexes, as two of them jumped to the ground, dodging the spell, while the last one was hit in two of its eight legs.

"Hiss!" the stricken acromantula screamed in pain, trying to free its legs from the ice.

And as it tried to get out of this cold situation, its two friends started going on the offensive.

'{Arania Exumai}' I cast at the nearest acromantula.

The spell then hit it hard, throwing it away. However, that was the only thing that happened, and in a few moments the spider recovered and attacked me again.

'I've always wanted to try that spell, but it's pretty much useless,' I sighed as I shook my head.

But leaving my disappointment with this classic spell aside, I continued attacking the acromantulas, casting more powerful and lethal spells at them.

{Diffindo} {Bombarda Tria} {Eletrinpulsa} {Expurgo} {Flammae}

And with this sequence of spells the two giant spiders didn't have the slightest chance to attack me or even defend themselves, and in a few seconds they were completely destroyed.

'Err, I think I exaggerated a little with the violence,' I thought, looking at the dead acromantulas... Or what was left of them.

My instincts then alerted me of an attack, and without turning around or looking back I created a shield behind my back, defending myself from the fangs of the third acromantula that had finally entered the fight.

And looking at this acromantula I noticed the absence of two of its legs, and I realized then that it had torn them off to escape the ice.

'It seems upset about its friends' death,' I noticed.

"Hiss!" the acromantula hissed at me, glaring deadly.

It then spat a moss green liquid in my direction, and knowing it was its venom I used a shield to protect myself, before stepping to the side, seeing a ball of web pass by me.

The acromantula, seeing that its attacks failed, tried to jump at me, but I leaned back, dodging it.

As it passed over me I used my wand and a scalpel charm to cut the acromantula's side, which fell to the ground screeching painfully.

And before the injured and very angry creature could continue attacking me I decided to end the fight.

And swinging my wand vertically I cast a spell that created a sharp blade of wind, and this blade of wind went towards the acromantula at great speed.

The arachnid creature, which already had reduced mobility due to the lack of two legs and the cut on its belly, was unable to even react to the attack, being easily hit by it.

And with this powerful and lethal wind spell I cut in half the last acromantula and last remaining magical creature.

Seeing the acromantula's dismembered body fall lifeless to the ground I was finally able to relax a little, realizing that the fight was over.

"I finally have a few seconds to breathe," I said, feeling a little tired after so many fights.

I then stretched lightly, in an attempt to relieve the tension and stress that my body and muscles had accumulated.

And while I was doing that I decided to look around, and when I saw the state this part of the maze was in I couldn't help but widen my eyes slightly.

"Uh, good thing there are repair magic, or else the quidditch teams would try to burn me alive for turning their quidditch pitch into a war zone," I said with a slightly embarrassed look.

But shaking my head I decided to focus on something else, and so I looked at the dead or stunned creatures around me.

"I think I've lost count of how many creatures I've defeated," I muttered.

It had been at least 20 minutes since I began my wild hunt through the maze, and in that time I had encountered and faced many magical creatures.

And some of these creatures were very dangerous or were creatures of darkness, and so I made a point of not holding back against them, exterminating them as soon as I saw them.

However, the other remaining creatures did not pose such great dangers or were not as vile and despicable, and so I simply stunned them or took them out of combat, not wanting to take any more creature lives than necessary.

However, now that I looked around I saw that there were more corpses on the ground than stunned beings.

And I realized that not killing too many creatures would be a very difficult mission, since it seemed like most of the creatures in the maze were those in the 'kill without remorse' category.

'Well, I've already defeated many magical creatures, perhaps even more than necessary, so I think I'll avoid any more confrontations with those creatures from now on.'

'And besides, I've been here in the maze for quite some time now, so I think it's time for me to start my plan and start looking for Harry' I thought.

And with that I decided to expand my senses a little more, wanting to track Harry's location in this great maze.

And as I prepared to look for the green-eyed boy, my senses picked up some magical signatures approaching the place I was, and I knew that this was the next wave of magical creatures arriving.

'Looks like my search for Harry will have to wait a little longer,' I sighed.

And with that I prepared myself for the fight that would follow, maintaining my focus while letting my magic flow along with my senses.

But just as I used my senses to feel everything around me I noticed an abnormality in the maze and the creatures in it.

'Huh? Why are the walls of the maze moving so suddenly? And why does it seem like this wave of magical creatures has more creatures than the other times?' I wondered, grimacing slightly.
