Alfred: I'd rather die if you decide to leave me, Ella.

Lewis House.

"It seems like a difficult time for you to go through. How did you get through it?" Ella gently stroked Alfred's hair, and even then because her husband asked her.

"I don't know, Ella. I just passed it all. Until I felt the emptiness in my life. I feel this world is unfair to me. My mother even suddenly hates me so much. She keeps torturing me. But, I don't blame her for everything she did to me," Alfred said and his eyes turning sad.

Alfred took his wife's hand. Then he put it on his chest, while the other hand touched both sides of Ella's face.

"Forgive me, Ella." Again the word came out of Alfred's mouth,

"You can hate me for the rest of your life because I deserve you to hate. After what I've done to you, Ella," Alfred said. He was still holding his wife's cheek.

The two eyes looked at each other without hatred.

"Alfred? I..." Ella said confusedly.
