Luke`s POV
Our Food has already arrived, but Zane is not here yet, maybe she needs to go to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, she seems to have a bad day.
" What happened to you?" his twin asked.
"Nothing, some students just block my way, and I'm kinda pissed," she answered
"Let's eat," and we prepared the food and started to eat. There is no rule that prohibits students can't eating inside the classroom. This is our official room since it's our advisers' room.
After eating our lunch, we cleaned up the place and waited for Ms. Jiang to come since her subject was split into two different times.
"What do you think are gonna do to her subject?" Zane asked while observing the room. The room was filled with different items, there were jars of eyes, jars of different leaves, different sizes of potion bottles a huge cauldron, bookshelves that were filled with cobwebs, a skull candle stand, a Bird stand, all the things you could imagine for a witch, except that the place is bright, not dull.
"Of course, it will be making of potion," I answered.
"nice joke Luke," she said sarcastically.
After the time of waiting finally, the class starts. "Good Afternoon, students" our advisers greeted.
"Good Afternoon," we greeted back.
"For today we will be having a potion-making at instance, we don't need a formal introduction since this will be more an experiment and less lecture. Open your book on page 6, the basic potion of all, a mundane potion, Can you read what is the mundane potion Miss Sylvestre" she called Zane, She stood up, and started to read the book.
"Mundane potion, or the basic potion of all. It is said to be basic and easy to create, but it's the most vital and makes different kinds of potions. This potion is the founding base of some potion, the better mundane potion you make the better outcome. This potion individually has no effect when it was ingested, but it has a great reaction when mixed." After reading the context, she sat down, and Prof Rielle started to write something on the board.
"The ingredients in making the potions are Spring Water and Blue petal from Bleur Fleur, a blue flower that is most commonly grown in the park, in the street, or on grass field" after writing down on the board she snapped her finger and set of items in making potion were summoned in our desk.
"Now, on your desk, you see three jars that have a blue petal the one is raw which means not fully grown, a fully grown petal, and an old petal. The yellow cup bottle contains spring water. Then the small cauldron, a small stove, a spoon, and a small mortar. Things you need to do. Mister Hummington can you read the instruction for making the potion" I stood up and started to read.
"In making the mundane potion, you will be needing exactly three blue petals of Bleur Fleur and the desired amount of spring water. First is to pound the petals until it releases a blue extract, and then boil the spring water, and put the extract, and mix to spring water for 3 minutes. After that, set aside and it is ready."
"I guess I don't need to demonstrate since the process is easy, you can now begin," and she sat down at her table.
"One last thing you'll be making three different kinds of mundane potions out of that three different grades of blue petals," she added.
Let's get this started. First, I'm gonna use is the raw one, second, the fully grown one, and lastly, the old one.
"How can we say if the mundane is effective," I asked since this potion has no effect at all.
"That is simple I will be giving you a healing potion that has no mundane, you just have to put three, drops of healing potion in each mundane potion," and she handed us individually a three-inch bottle potion that contained the healing potion.
After putting the healing potion, the color of the mundane began to change, the raw one turn into pale red, the right one was fine red, while the old one was darker red,
"Mundane, the potion has one specific effect, and that is to make the potion effective," Our prof said, and she summoned a small doll. "This doll will test the effectiveness of your potion, all you have to do is a single drop of the potion, and it will tell give a paper showing the result.
The pale healing potion heals slowly, and the scars are still there, and the wounds are not properly healed. The perfect red was on time faster than the pale one and cured more properly. However, they're still some marks and scars left. The darker healing potion was the most accurate and effective of the three of them.
We created a small report regarding our observations and conclusions about the potion and submitted it. In our remaining time, we just read our syllabus for the next experiment and lecture.
"Time checks 4:00 pm, and I'm done checking your report. So, you can leave now," and we headed out of the room and went to our room since we had a stock of food and we just had to reheat the
