Chapter 10: Training

Zane's Pov

"Last one round," our prof said while waving a sign signal. After running thirty-five times in the quadrangle, we drink some water to clench our thirst. Today is Thursday and I hate Tuesday and Thursday for it's the most exhausting day of the week. Our subject is Physical training and magic control, and we need to train our physical and magical attributes.

"Good job, Mr. Hummington I thought you would collapse again like the last time," our prof said while clapping his hands.

Luke needs a lot of improvement in terms of physical ability and magic control since like he said, he doesn't usually use his magic since it's not that practical to use and it is destructive. Tho in his physical aspect, he is bad in strength, and endurance but he's good in body coordination and flexibility. While us, we are trained when we are ten that's why doing this kind of physical training is fine but we're getting more loads and high difficulty.

"Now for additional training, I've created a training program for you to do in successive weeks since I may not be able to meet you in a month due to duty given by our headmistress and she instructed me to do a training program for a month." And handed us a paper.

"Now for me to check your development, you have to wear these rings, just wear them, it is designed by the technology department. This ring will scan your body. So you need to wear them every time you do this activity, but don't you worry. You will be guided by the class A professor." And handed us the rings, it is color silver rings fitted in our pinky.

"Now do three obstacle courses," and whistles and we began to run towards the obstacles

*Time skip*

After one hour we finished the obstacle course and it is very exhausting, it's good that we have some food that helps us to regain some of our stamina but it tastes gross.

"Eat some slime condase" and he feeds the three of us, one spoon each

"Ugh" Luke exclaimed

"Endure it, for a while it will help you regain your stamina, lunch is already here so rest for a while then grab your lunch you need more stamina Maris is kinda scary" and he shrugged her shoulder mentioning her name.

Professor Maris is strict especially with Luke, knowing his magic so she most focus on Luke's since we had proper training in magic she just gave us some tips and stamina training to sustain our magic. Before we start the class, Sir. Doris and Ms. Maris did some evaluation on us to check our current status.

After giving us our lunch, Sir. Doris left the field and we headed to the shed near to us, some students are looking at us since our professors are well known in the university and we are only three students in the Elite class. Also, I've created a rivalry in class A because of me.

It's already noon, and we have an hour to rest and finish our lunch before heading to our assigned room for magic control.

"I know that you've been through this morning all those physical training I know your body is tired, but you need to attend this class." Here we are in our Magic training grounds.

"You know your routines, now let's get moving," and the magic pillar was activated. It is to protect the outside of the room. It's a pillar that creates a strong barrier that holds our overall magic.

All of us started creating various creations, since we are elemental, we can use our magic in different ways, we can materialize or cast spells, or elemental attacks, or makes our body into our elemental attributes, or spells related to our element.

Zein focuses on mastering the four elements and currently, he's training his water magic, while I'm learning different kinds of spells, while Luke is training on how many vasts of magic he will be using.

Luke's POV

"Control Mr. Hummington, control the magic in you, your magic has infinite loads in your body, if you can't control the magic you're using else your body will take the consequence." Prof Maris said while I was controlling the magic ball I'd created.

I look like a weighing scale, my left hand has a bigger Magic ball and my other hand is small. Every time my other hand raises the magic ball gets bigger, while the other hand gets smaller.

"Good now, like the last time," he said. I positioned my arms lateral then both magic balls in my hand started to have the same size. I slowly placed them in front of me and combined the two of them

"Now that is good" I control myself waiting for my time to release, I targeted the Magic dummy, "Blue Magic; Flash Cannon" and a blue beam released.

"Outstanding, now put that in mind and just do it again and again", she said, so I just repeated what I was doing.

Professor Maris POV

Flashback

One Week before the Classes start

"You want me to teach the elite class?" I asked

"Yes, I'm appointing you" she answered.

"Make me then," I backfired

"Aside from the royalty of Sylvestre, there is one," and she paused.

"What do you mean one?" I curiously asked

"Bluenarian," my jaw dropped

"Impossible they went vanished in the empire war, don't joke around Bernabe, if they find out that their one still leaving they will hunt him," I exclaimed

"That's why you need to train him, you must take care of him, improve his, magic so that he can survive any threat he will encounter," she seriously said

"Give me his name and his data, " I said

"His name was Luke For Hummington," she stated.

End of Flashback

He is a Bluenarian, seeing his magic, the magic presence, he is a bluenarian. Hearing the story of Captain Marlon, and how he used his magic, I presume that he can control his magic but not completely, but that is also good.

Looking at him, I hope he doesn't suffer like his people. I've said in my mind. 'I will help you to handle your magic.'

After our training this afternoon, I approached them individually to say what needed to be done. Show them the records of today's progress and give them a copy.

"Zein, you need to learn an advanced spell or every element, there is a handbook in the library about spells you can get it to Sir Callipso just say the book that was requested by Miss Maris. For you, Zane just keep on learning that book of spells, and you the same as usual," I spoke

"Wear this," and I held a necklace green necklace.

"It will help you to limit the magic power you're releasing since you can't yet handle your magic, but at least you're improving. So keep on improving, and I prick his forehead and leave the room" I'm wishing you all the best.

Lukes POV

Before we head straight to our room, we pass by the library to get the book and go back to our room afterward.

"What should I cook for dinner," Zein asked

"Anything would do as long it satisfies my hunger," Zane answered

"That goes for me also, and slime condense," I said

"Yuck, Luke Slime condase?" she asked sarcastically

"For no reason, I like Slime condase and you cannot change my mind," I meant and the three of us laugh

'What else could happen to us.'
