(Chapter 57) Woah, 3 Years Passed?

And just like that, 3 years passed. Within a vast studio full of prominent actors and side characters. A beautiful woman was sitting down mumbling her lines off her script.

"Fran, the director is calling you." Francesca's manager called her, as she snapped away from her dreamland.

"Yeah, I'm coming."Francesca put down her script and left her dressing room.

After her first movie, she immediately became popular with fans of the film. The legendary 'Tempest' was marked down in the history of films. For the actor's incredible acting, the amazing story, it was translated worldwide. It became a phenom across the globe!

Many of the younger actors in the film lost their heads. Becoming conceited, arrogant, bullies within the entertainment industry. But Francesca kept heep head. She knew well what her goal was, and she worked insanely hard for that goal.

"Alright. Action!" The director called for the scene to start, as Francesca tuned into her role.

Her role was that of a pitiful heiress within a medieval family. She was perfect in her expressions, the hopes she had of winning her father's affection. How she wished to marry the one she loved, how she empathized with the then peasants of the country.

"Cut, Cut! The expression is wrong! Ger you need to realize that you aren't infatuated by her! She is of a lower standing of you." The director was upset at the second male lead staring dumbly at Francesca.

But who would blame them? Francesca had the perfect Italian model body. Tall at 5 foot 9, blonde hair, good skin. Blue eyes, sculptured but also slightly cute face. She also had favorable curves, not excessive, but enough...

Many men just couldn't help but have another glance at Francesca. Something she had slowly learned. And because of those gazes, she had took some self defense lessons as requested by her father...

Francesca went back to her chair to re-read her script. She didn't blame anyone and stayed professional, her manager felt gifted. Having such a good seedling, he barely had to do anything and she would rise to the top!

Francesca then heard the director asking for her again, so she went to re-do the scene again.

This time, the same thing happened. The second male lead was stuck in the middle of his lines. As he was staring in Francesca's direction.

The director frowned at his actions. Sure he would make one mistake, but making the same one wasn't like him...

But then he realized, even the cameramen had stopped. "Cut! What is wrong with you all? Stop staring at..." The director then felt his words becoming stuck in his mouth.

Francesca frowned at their weird expressions and actions, she then turned to face what made them so stunned. And she herself froze.

"Astrid? Is that you?" All of the staff, actors, even the director. Were brought away from their stupor hearing Francesca's excited tone.

Astrid gave a light chuckled before looking at Francesca. "Who would dare walk around pretending to be me? It seems you are working hard." Astrid had changed a lot in the 3 years since Francesca last saw her...

It was sudden, but the day after Hanxi was attacked, Astrid went abroad. Only Winoa followed her and no one could contact her. Astrid only contacted her parents when necessary, and briefly messaged Francesca a couple of times a year for important occasions.

Francesca couldn't keep away her smile and excitement, she immediately ran up to Astrid and proceeded to give her a bear hug.

"I... I... We thought you died." Francesca spoke in a soft voice, one where only Astrid could hear.

Astrid chuckled. "Don't be stupid. Aren't I here now?" Astrid looked down on to Francesca's torn face.

Yes, looked down. Astrid had grown since 3 years ago. A lot. She now was close to 6 feet! Which was incredibly tall for a woman. But she also gained her mother's plentiful curves, with her blond hair and almost turquoise eyes. She was the definition of a beauty.

Her eyes and face were much sharper than before. A cold beauty, an ice queen. She was someone men would dream of, but could never touch.

"Come on, don't be a baby. I came here to watch you act. Not cry." Astrid pushed away Francesca so she could pull herself together.

Francesca understood that action well. She cleared away her tears and gave a smile. "I guess Winoa is also with you?" She asked as she started to walk Astrid to the director.

"Of course, we are only here to do some checkups on the company then we will be leaving." Astrid's face slowly shifted to one of a cold look.

Francesca bought over her friend to the director. "Director, this is my good friend Astrid. I hope she could watch for the day." The director felt sweat on his back.

'Fuck me! Don't tell me this woman is her!? She looks very alike!' His sweat was now forming on his forehead.

It was 2 years ago when he saw this woman. It was at a banquet in France, he was invited to a big shots birthday due to having a relationship with them being an investor for one of his films. He saw this woman being served by the host himself! Although he had no idea who she was, it was clear she was far above his pay grade to know anything...

"Yes, yes. That's fine." He was terrified okay? He was lucky that he never... 'No, no. If I did then my head would roll. I have such great foresight to not be dead today. Haha...' He gulped from his nervousness.

Francesca was happy and sat down with Astrid. After speaking to her manager about Astrid being a friend, the manager was friendly toward Astrid.

Astrid took out her phone and paid no attention to what was going on. She ignored the whispers of the director being seduced by her good looks to come in and watch the filming, despite him normally being strict with things like that...

The director was sweating buckets when he heard those words. One would normally be worried about their own reputation. But he instead worried if his career would immediately be ended by the woman on her phone in the corner of the studio...

Thus he seemed lifeless and stiff. The scenes that got done were only by Francesca, she was completely unaffected by Astrid's presence. But she still had a fit of bubbling anger within her as she heard people whisper.

She so badly wanted to splurt out the truth of Astrid's identity. Being the daughter of CEO Tuhs was nothing small after all. Also Volgader was the idol of pretty much every actor in the industry. But she refrained from doing such a thing.

After she finished her scenes she went over and talked to her manager. Her manager realized that she was incredibly open about what she was doing around Astrid. It seemed they trusted each other a lot...

'But why had I never heard of her? Fran never mentioned her before. She would be perfect for the industry!' Her manager could barely contain his excitement seeing Astrid. It was like the second coming of a goddess had entered the studio. If she would even say nothing on camera she would explode with popularity...

"I had recently opened an entertainment company. Would you like to..." Astrid started to talk about why she had seen Francesca...

"Of course!" Francesca immediately answered. She had no qualms about moving into another company, especially if it was Astrid's...

The manager then blanked. "W-What?" He couldn't believe his ears. Was his artist poached like that?

"What about your manager here? He seems quite good for you." Astrid spoke about the future of the manager so casually it made him quite distraught for himself.

Francesca spent a minute to think. "I don't see a problem with it." Francesca didn't really care, her manager was good to her and kept her in the loop while giving her a lot of freedom, she found nothing wrong with him.

Astrid nodded. "Alright, Winoa should be waiting for use outside." Astrid then stood up and started to walk away with Francesca following her.

The manager was dumbfounded. That was when he got an email on his phone. About him being transferred to another company and being given a bonus and rewards?

"Who... Is she?" The manager then realized, that 'Astrid' was no mere person...
