"Left...No...No! Adam MY LEFT, *your* right", says a voice.
"Sorry Jake, I'm trying! But this darn tv is heavy!", said a meek voice.
"I don't care. I dont pay you to whine. Now get your fat ass over there
and move my television", said Jake.
What Adam was doing was moving a TV into Jake's living room on his high rise floor. He'd had to pick up the television, drive it over, come upstairs, and install it for Jake. "I shouldn't even have taken this job!", Adam thought to himself.
"Move it you idiot!", Jake said as he pushed Adam aside.
"Gahh", Adam yelled as he fell over. "Hurry up Adam. You know the other insurance losers will be here to assassinate me. You're wasting my time."
Jake raised his hand, and as if by magic, the tv raised.
"Get the holds in place!", he told him.
Adam hurried towards the Tv and got the holds in place.
Jake set the Tv in and sat down.
"You're lucky I even did this for you Jake. I'm not your slave you know!", Adam said sweating angrily.
Jake turned towards him slowly. "I'm sorry. What was that? I could've sworn it was
something like 'Oh Jake thanks for bringing me out of poverty when I was going through a tough time', you fat slug".
Adam started to turn red. His clothes were drenched in sweat.
"Get out", Jake said without care.
"You know what Jake? I'm done with this. I'm done with you", Adam said to him.
"Hah. I can find 20 of you in 10 seconds. I dont care".
Adam left and slammed the door behind him.
"The hell do I care anyway? You're all insignificant. Always clinging to people like me
who give your pathetic lives meaning", Jake thought to himself.
"Time to get dressed. I'm late for work", he said as he looked at the clock.
He walked into his room and clapped his hands twice.
The lights turned on and his closet extended forward and sunk below.
An opening was made visible, to which he walked into it and it shut promptly behind him.
"System?"
"Yes master Jake?", said a robotic voice.
"Weather, clothes, and bank balance", he said while walking down the corridor.
"Weather is clear with a temperature of 78 degrees, the clothes recommended
today are: red short sleeve shirts, your mana watch, and your favorite Khakis, as for your bank balance, it is 90 trillion and rising with each hour sir".
"Excellent", he said to himself.
"Clothes equip, and lock all doors inside", he said to the system.
A mechanical sound whirred at all sides of the corridor and everything was locked.
Jake walked forward until he reached his inner most chamber. At the center was his bed along
with his most prized possession. The Black Watch of Doomsday. It supplies any extra mana Jake might need, conserves mana, and can become any object he wishes, along with a few other abilities.
He made his way to the door and twisted his watch's long hand.
A moment later he was in an office cubical.
"Ah. Time for work"
