She Must Become Stronger

After an emotional meeting, those around them do not know what is happening, they only understand that the moment of the meeting is so touching that they began to wipe the non-existential tears from their eyes.

"Oh, my granddaughter will grow up to be a beautiful lady, she will fill with envy and jealousy the other women who come near her."

Lord Long saw the ear to ear smile on his father's face and was dumbfounded. He had never seen that kind of smile on him since his mother disappeared.

Seeing that the Old Man's joy came from the bottom of his heart, no one present wanted to interrupt the pleasant moment between grandfather and granddaughter.

Lord Long felt gratified because, a long time ago, his father always pampered him in front of his mother, and the smile that was always drawn on his face was no less than the one he's wearing right now.

Feeling relieved to see this scene, he signaled to the servants and maids to stand back and make room for both of them.

But what he could not understand until he left the room is why her father called Xiao Ling as Xi'er. When his daughter's name has no 'Xi' in it.

Not wanting to delve into the matter, he shook his head and left. His wife, Madam Long, is in her parlor, and his children in training, they have seen their grandfather, but for some reason they always show him fear and respect, they are not as attached to him, as he saw his daughter doing so.

'It's strange that this is happening, could it be that...' not wanting to have that kind of thought, he shook his head to remove it, and went to look for his wife.

Old Master Long waved his hand, and a layer of visible energy surrounded them.

After a few hours telling her grandfather all about how she got here, and how he got here, they came to the conclusion that Old Nana herself sent them here, or was it some mistake, but fate would have it they were Grandfather and granddaughter once again.

"Little girl, and to think that you would come here so soon too, I didn't think you would be my granddaughter again, but this time I can see you grow up and give you the love I couldn't give you, besides your parents are loving." He sighed wistfully.

A tiny hand touched his cheeks. 'No need to fret, Grandpa, we're in a new life, a new future ahead of us. I'm grateful to be able to meet you again, and I'm sorry I couldn't fulfill what you wanted. But I didn't leave them with their hands in your company. I managed to leave my Will to that person.'

It was the first time Xiao Ling said a lot in her mind, and apparently the Old Master can hear her too, because the smile on her mouth I think more prominent.

"Good, good, good, that's my granddaughter. I would have liked to see them stay on the street, if that kiddo is the one in charge of everything, that means they won't get a high five, and if they managed to get a sign from you, it may be invalidated, with a few words out of his mouth."

At this point, he sighed, "Ever since he was a child, his words have always had weight in every business. There is no one who can stand against him. That's why I wanted you to marry him, and when I took the matter to him and his grandfather, neither of them objected."

The regret in the little girl's eyes cannot be concealed.

'Sorry, Grandpa, I failed you in two things.' Lowering her Little head.

"No my little girl, you didn't fail me, you did what you could, that's more than enough, but I must say that in this life you will have more tests and experiences, and you must be stronger, the good side is that you have the intellect of two lives, what you learned in your past life, can be of help to you in this one." Her grandfather told her in anticipation of the little girl's future.

'Don't worry, grandpa. I will!'

...

After another hour of conversation between Grandpa and Granddaughter, in which it just seemed like a monologue from Grandpa.

'By the way, grandpa...' Xiao Ling's eyes seem hesitate to ask.

"... What's wrong?" Old Master raised his eyebrow at the sight of his granddaughter, who wants to ask something but doesn't dare.

'How can you listen to me?'

After over three hours of full and exciting conversation, she asks, leaving Grandfather speechless.

"... That's because my cultivation is too high, ever since I came here, got married and had offspring I haven't stopped cultivating my magic core nor my dantian, both are at a higher level, to the point where I can leave this real and look for your grandmother, the woman I truly fell in love with, but that's something you don't need to know."

Xiao Ling knows that in his past lives they forced him to marry to a woman he didn't liked, by his father, who wanted a marriage of convenience. Even though he was in love with someone else, his father forced him to marry someone of equal status to the Yang Family.

Feeling that her grandfather found his other half, but they were separated, made her feel sorrow and pain. And for some reason guilty, but she doesn't know why.

'I'm sorry.' She said in a diminutive voice.

"You don't have to apologize, it's not a big deal, I know she is alive, but we can't meet yet, I think this fate has a lot to do with your birth, so you should grow up and train, so you will become stronger and be invincible in the realm in no time."

Xiao Ling understood little of what he meant, but one thing was clear to her.

She must become strong.

Strong to protect her loved ones.

Strong to not be bullied.

Strong to have everything she wants in the future and that no one dares to dictate or have an opinion about her decisions.

She knows exactly what kind of strength she needs.

"Your background can help you on many times and circumstances. Your clan's name resonates throughout this realm and the higher ups. But that doesn't mean you should be content. Even though you are the only woman in the clan, they may see you as our weakness and want to move hands on you, so you must be strong on your own."

Those were her grandfather's words.

The determination in Xiao Ling's small eyes moved the Old Man, and he decided he would train her personally, like in the old days in their past lives.
