"Ok! guys I am your homeroom teacher for this whole year so you'd all better remember my name. I'm Christopher Dela Cruz and I want to introduce yourselves one by one."

"Ugh! for real?!...What a pain.." as everyone student said.

"Shut up!, just do what I said, I will start at the back seat." as he said.

"You!, A handsome guy with a gloomy Aura!." as he said.

"Is he talking to me?" as Lance point himself.

"Yes, It's you." as he said.

"What an unlucky guy..." as someone whispered.

Lance Stood up and introduce himself.

"My name is Lance Halgard." as he said.

"Is that it?, anything else you want to say like your hobbies or like favorites?." as the teacher asked.

Lance shake his head and the whole class is silent.

"I-Is that so?...well then you can sit now." as the teacher said.

"What an unusual name...Halgard?....you mean Asgard? AHHAHA" as someone said.

"Ok! shut up mind your own business kid, would you rather be named a monkey?." as the teacher said.

as Lance ignored what the guy in his class said the self Introduction is continuing onto to the last student. Lance took a peek at the last student who'll introduce herself and the girl stares back.

as she stood up Lance took an interest and stare at her until the end of her introduction.

"My name is Ruby Amethyst, I like to cook and play a guitar." as she said.

after school ends Lance grab his bag and left but Ruby pulled his bag.

"Hey, Why are you staring at me like a creep?..." as she said.

"....It's nothing.." as he said.

"If it's nothing then why are you looking at me like a some kind of pervert?..." as she said.

"Woah!..your confidence...I will look at you because you're the next person who will introduce yourself, aren't you?..." as Lance said.

"...You have a point..." as she said.

"well then if that's only what you want then can you let go my bag? I want to go home and sleep." as he said.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that...well you should live up your world you know, how old are you?" as she asked.

"17...Is that all? can I go now?" as Lance said.

"see?, you're only 17 and you're wasting your time, you should be more proactive or else you'll miss your youth..." as Ruby said.

"You're getting more annoying you know?." as he said.

While they're having a conversation someone's rushing towards them.

"He-Yo!, Is she your girlfriend lance?...WOW!...I thought you don't like romance?." as the guy said.

"we're not like that." as Lance answered.

"I-is that so?...Oh yeah sorry for late introduction my name is Jade" as he said.

"...Why am I here again?" as Jade asked himself.

"I don't know...don't ask me...." as Lance said.

"So cold." as Ruby said.

"This girl is getting on my nerves I want to punch her face" as Lance thought while holding his hands and smiling.

"What's your problem?, you're suddenly smiling you're creeping me you know?..." as Ruby said.

Lance lean closer to Ruby and preparing for a knock but Jade interrupt them.

"AHH! RIGHT!! I remember it now!...Do you know that the adult fireflies can only live only for couple of a weeks?" as Jade said.

"tcch...What a nonsense..."As Lance said.

"He did click his tongue right?" as Jade ask himself.

"By the way what's your name?" as He asked Ruby.

"Ahh! right sorry I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Ruby." as she answered.

"Hey! all of our classmates are already gone and we're the only one's left I want to go home now so can we continue this tomorrow?" as Lance said.

"as Always, he's so cold." as Jade said.

"yeah!, yeah!, right..." as Lance said.

They left and go home together without knowing that they're going to the same road.

"Oh right! Lance do you know the firefly syndrome?." as Jade said.

"Ahh....no, not interested." as He said.

"ME! ME! I'm interested!" as Ruby raise her hands while jumping.

"Really!? THANK GOD THERE IS SOMEONE WHO'S INTERESTED!!" as he said aloud.

"I will tell you, there's a disease that only acquired after turning into 18 years old...from what my friends told me his neighbor is affected by it while celebrating his neighbor's birthday that will be turning 18." as Jade said.

"and then what's next?' as Ruby said while her eyes are sparkling with excitement.

"well it's sad story, my friend's neighbor died after 1 week, from what my friend told me her hand start to glow that time at the party they thought it was an extra shows but for some reason my friend's neighbor didn't claim it." as Jade said.

"EHH!!??" as Ruby said while wearing a shocked face.

"What a full of crap" as Lance said.

"Well I don't know if it's true or not since it was my friend story not mine." as Jade said.

"By the way I wanted to ask this since the beginning but why are you still with us?" as Lance asked to Ruby.

"Huh?...I thought that you two were following me?" as she said.

"We're here this is my house next to Lance's." as Jade said.

"WHAT!!?!?!....we're neighbors?!?.." as Ruby shouted with surprised.

"EH?..so you are the neighbor who's moving?..." as Lance said.

"Looks like my peaceful days will come to its end..."

"I see, I see....Why don't we go to schools tomorrow?...all of us?.." as Ruby suggested.

"That's good!" as Jade agreed to Ruby.

"Ugh..." as Lance said while his face went blank.....
