Charlie couldn't quite get the meaning of the description even after reading it a few times, his experience as a gamer didn't help him much, everything sounded a bit of.
'Maybe because this is real life? I shouldn't judge the mighty system by my lowly standards, I'll figure it out eventually, but what about the skills I have?'

'Shit, why does it make me sound lika mission giving NPC'
It wasn't that bad tho, maybe he was like one of those essential NPc that can't be killed, what with no status and all.
[Junior System Administrator]- First rank of Administrator, gives Appraisal, Fast learning and Mission and rewards allocation skills.
'Ok, that kind of makes sense, at least I know where they come from'
He then remembered the first message that appeared in front of him and for some reason the last paragraph sounded a lot more ominous now, what was there to prepare for, even if he wanted to, he didn't know how to start.
'Maybe I should learn something new from a book'
He only had 7h and a half till the time limit so he rushed to his computer to start for some information on the Internet, even if he was the only person in this situation, he could still get a few ideas from there, he then decided to test the water and picked up a small detailed book about camping in an unknown terrain but because he could't read faster he decided to listen to it at 2x speed.
'Ohhhh, this feels so strange, I don't think I will ever get used to this, thank goodness I don't need to say the skill names out loud, if in the future I would need to say that in public I would die of embarrassment, I am not a cute anime girl.'
All the information felt like it was poured directly in his head, if only he had more time, he shouldn't have gone to sleep like that.
'There is no use crying over spilled milk now is there?'
Then, in a flash of inspiration he decided to rise the speed on his audio book even faster andsurprisingly,
it still worked just fine. After a few more tweaks, he found out that the skill would still work at 8x times the speed, but nothing faster. All in all, this was great news for him, he had learnt all the info from an 8h book in just 1h.
Seeing that he still had plenty of time he decided to pack himself a bag for the travelling, luckily for him there was a big shopping mall 5 minutes drive from his home, of course he never stopped listening on the way, this time it was a book about cooking in the wilderness, together with Appraisal he shouldn't have to worry about food if he was dropped almost anywhere.
He bought 2 camping kits, a 3 kg bag of rough cooking salt and whole pepper, he didn't want to make the same mistake a lot of his predecessors, a tent and 2 sleeping bags, some cooking utensils, a machete and a hunting knife, an electronic stove, 2 solar battery, and from the army enthusiasts store a full uniform that was made of stub proof material and a rain coat in dark grey.
He was prepared for war now, he had enough supplies to last 2 weeks even if he was to be dropped in the desert as long as he found a source of water.
When he got home he had a full course meal and picked up a book about walking and running on uneven groud.
After that he called his friends and family that he will go on a 2 week camping trip in the mountains, he didn't want for anyone to file him asa mising person with the police.
When he had less than one hour left he went an took a bath, because he didn't know when exactly he would take the next one he spent half an hour in there.
He thought that he was prepared, he even got two phones full with all kinds of books and schematics on anything he could think of.
His backpack was a bit heavy evan after using most of the hooks and pockets on his uniform but he thought that he could take the extra load for future confort.
After a while he received a new message.
[Transfer will begin in five minutes, please stand by.]
When he read the message he instantly got goosebumps, not because he was scared but because he was excited, when the clock was going to hit zero his whole life was going to change forever, he didn't know of what was going to happen really, but the unknown never scared him.
Even before this he thought he was a pretty lucky guy,
he was an orphan, his mother had died just minutes after giving birth to him and he had no idea who his father was, luckily for him he was adopted straight from the hospital by a couple who had always wanted a kid but couldn't conceive one for themselves,
he was proud of calling them his parents even if he usualy called them by their names. His mother Sarah was graphic designer and his father George was a project manager for a big game development company, that is where his love for games came from.
He became a beta tester at his father's company at 12, and made a bit of a name for himself after discovering multiple ways to exploit the game engine, he got himself a full time job ever since. He finished his major in game development and now he was the head of the beta testing department at his father's company, everything being considered his life has been pretty smooth sailing until now, he was only 25.
It was just that he had always felt that something was missing, while he had always been better than average, he was never the best and that had hunted him ever since he was a child.
For him this was a chance to change that and he would do almost everything for it.
All of a sudden all light disappeared and just as fast everything went back to normal again, only this time he wasn't in his bedroom anymore, in front of him there was a long white hallway that seemed to extend forever, an uncountable number of doors where on each side and bright lights where flying from one door to another from time to time.
Each and every one of those doors had a name on it in a language he couldn't even begin to understand, some of them even made his head hurt just by looking.
When he decided to look behind him to see if there was any difference he sow that he was just in front of another door that looked exactly the same as all the others, only this time he could read quite clearly.
It said Earth
