Close to death

After seeing the mugshot photo that the bodyguard showed him, Noah immediately recognized him as the henchman that was in multiple pictures with the nephew. But now he actually had a name to go with the face. Using the power of the internet with the help of the IT team of the secret services and every other database to their disposal, they dug up whatever else they could get their hands on. With this they had managed to find a registered living address, albeit one that was a bit older and might not be accurate anymore. Alongside that, they had found a few rumoured addresses that he might be staying at.

But more importantly, they had managed to find out which places he frequented in terms of bars, restaurants and the like. Although they didn't expect to find him dining so soon after planting explosives to murder two people and risk killing many more. Those places did give them a good idea where he might be staying among the addresses that they had discovered. That is, if he hadn't fled the county. But considering how he hadn't hid his face when he entered the garage to plant the explosives and arrogantly assumed he had avoided all the cameras, which to his credit, he had succeeded in for the visible cameras, they didn't think he would be that worried and consider fleeing the country to avoid being arrested. Fortunately for Noah and the agents, this arrogance would bring about the henchman's downfall a lot sooner.

"Good job you two. I am very pleased. I hope you can continue to help me for the time being in order to get both of them behind bars. If they get hurt, physically or mentally, along the way, you won't hear any complaints from me. I do want them caught alive as I made a promise to my wife."

The bodyguard seemed surprised to hear this after what the henchman had attempted to do to Noah and Steve, which showed on his face, he stayed quiet. But Noah noticed the change in his expression and clarified, "Though I will spare their lives, I don't plan on showing any mercy. I plan to have them trialled and hopefully sent away for a long, long time. For every year less that they get from what I expect and feel is proper justice, I will make sure their time in prison is made... well let's say, less 'enjoyable'. At least at the moment I am a man with money to burn and paying people like that back for the hurt they caused, seems well worth the price."

This seemed like a more fitting reaction to today's events and a small grin appeared on the bodyguard's face. He replied to Noah's words by saying, "I will see if I can find him and bring him to you. He risked my life as well in that cowardly move of his, so I am happy to return the favour. But out of respect to you and your wife, I will be sure to keep him alive. How close to death I will bring him, that I do not know."

Noah was clearly caught off guard by the bodyguard's response and just awkwardly said, "Yes,..Good. Thank you." With Max handling Andrew and James, the bodyguard going after the henchman, who had planted the explosives, and the shadow having dealt with the explosives and the capturing of the evidence surrounding the explosives, there were only two more people to deal with. One of them of course being Harold, the other was the henchman who was brave enough to target his wife and Maria in his own home.

Though initially Noah had wanted the bodyguard to look into that person as well, he found him to be less of a priority since he had been taken away by the police after Laila and Maria had contacted the local law enforcement from the panic room. With him safely behind bars, they would be able to get his records from the police file and look into any other relevant information about him then. Which only left Harold as a person that required his immediate attention.

He looked at the shadow and asked, "If the matter with my car has been dealt with, I would like to ask you to help me find Harold. I have ways to hurt and anger him, which will hopefully provoke him enough to do something foolish enough to give away his own location. Aside from that I have hacked the phone of two people he works with, though I am not sure how much he is willing to reveal to them after all that has happened in the past day and a half."

Although the shadow was still fully dressed in black and had her face mostly hidden away, from her eyes he could tell that she smiled as she nodded to agree.
