Suspicious behaviour

The bodyguard was still at a bar in the town where one of Harold's henchman was supposed to be hiding. He had just placed a listening device near the bar table after he noticed that he had triggered the bartenders suspicions. He was currently listening in on the conversation that the bartender was having with a person, who he assumed was the henchman. The moment the bodyguard heard the bartender say the words he had been waiting for, he quickly whispered some commands into his wristwatch. He was telling the others to stand-by and keep their eyes open for any suspicious behaviour.

The people he was talking to were his colleagues who were part of the team for this mission. Though he didn't have many people with him as this mission wasn't big enough to dispatch a large team, there were enough people to get the job done. He had two people watch the two main roads out of town and someone to keep an eye on the apartment building where his supposed girlfriend lived. The last location was manned by the bodyguard himself, which was the apartment building where the henchman supposedly lived. Although the apartment to his name had appeared unlived for quite a while, that did not mean he was not staying with anyone else inside that building. So, after giving his orders to the other people on his team, he headed out of the bar himself to go back to the apartment building where he had been before.

It had not even been ten minutes when the bodyguard heard the words "Eagle two. Target in sight" in his earpiece. The bodyguard immediately rushed over to the location of the person with the codename 'Eagle two', which was the apartment building where his girlfriend lives. While the bodyguard was running over, different reports came in. He was close when he heard the words, "Target on the run" and then he saw a car speed past him. When he saw which way the car was headed he talked to his teammate who was watching the road where the henchman seemed to be headed and warned the person. "Eagle one. Target is headed in your direction. He is driving a light blue hatchback, E force model I3. Keep your eyes open and stop the car from leaving. Use force if needed. Assistance is on the way."

Since it wasn't certain if the henchman would continue in the direction he had started or if it would be used as a misdirection, the bodyguard couldn't send everyone to the road that the henchman seemed to be heading towards. Instead, he headed to the road where the henchman was currently headed and sent Eagle two, who spotted him initially, to the other main road just in case the henchman would turn around and head there after spotting the bodyguard or his teammate at the other road.

But he had just started rushing over when he heard tires screeching and a loud bang in the distance. This is when the bodyguard sped up and ran towards where the loud sound had come from, which was in the same direction as where the henchman had been heading and in the same direction of the main road where the bodyguard had been rushing over to. To the bodyguard's surprise, not too far from where the henchman's fleeing had begun, he found the escape car crashed against a lamppost. Smoke was coming from the hood of the car and slowly people were coming out to see what was going on.

The bodyguard quickly informed his team to head towards his location before he started running even faster towards the car with his gun ready to fire at any moment. As he rushed over he shouted to the people to step away from the car, who quickly obeyed when they saw the gun in his hand. Once he was next to the car he lowered his pace and slowly glanced inside to find the henchman still inside, all disoriented. He announced to the people that they should step away as the man in the car was dangerous and could be armed. However they didn't seem to believe him as he seemed to be the dangerous one in their eyes at the moment. But they did take a small step back in case the bodyguard would turn the gun to them.

The bodyguard didn't trust the situation as it was and decided to proceed with caution. With the gun pointed at the henchman's head, the bodyguard told him that he was under arrest and told him to not make any sudden movements. Then he told the henchman to turn around slowly and he put cuffs on his wrists. Since a gun was pointed at his head and he was in no state to run or drive away, the henchman had no other choice but do as he was asked, realizing full well that the run was over. While grumbling and glaring he accepted his fate. By now more people had gathered around and were murmuring and whispering. So, before anyone he didn't want there would show up, the bodyguard looked over his shoulder in both directions before he decided to get away from the scene.
