Forgive and forget

In a harsh tone the bodyguard told the henchman "Move over". Still a bit confused from being blasted by the airbag, the henchman questioned his request with a dazed "Huh..?". This caused the bodyguard to repeat his words in a louder tone, while he shoved the gun closer to his face. "I said MOVE!" His actions caused the crowd to gasp, as they didn't know what the henchman had done and they only saw the bodyguard treating an injured man harshly, still not believing his earlier words. Nonetheless the henchman moved over with some difficulty and the bodyguard stepped into the car before attempting to start the car. After two tries the engine turned on and the bodyguard back away before from the lamppost before driving off.

As he drove away, one eye glancing at the bodyguard and the other watching the road, he told the henchman, "Don't make any sudden moves or attempt anything. My employer might want you alive but I don't care which way I turn you in. So, if I smell any funny business, I will shoot first and ask questions later. Got it!?" The henchman let out a smug 'chè'. This of course angered the bodyguard, who already disliked the henchman before this, and he swiftly struck out his elbow into the man's stomach before replied saying, "I said, got it!!?". While holding his stomach the henchman replied with a winded, "Yeah, yeah" as the air had been kicked out of him a bit by the bodyguard's blow.

The bodyguard replied with, "Good. Then I expect we won't have any trouble". After a brief pause he added, "At least not for now". Then he went on to tell his teammates about the small change in plans. He told them that he was driving southbound to where he had spotted an empty garage earlier. His teammates replied with a short "Copy that" before the channel turned silent again. When the bodyguard arrived at the garage, where he planned on questioning the henchman, he stepped out of the car in order to break the lock on the garage door. He had taken half a step away from the car, when he came back, glared at the henchman and took out the keys from the ignition in case the henchman did anything stupid.

Once he had opened the garage, he quickly drove the car inside before he stepped out for a second time but this time he went over to the passenger's side and told the henchman to get out as well. By now his daze had cleared up mostly and he was full on glaring at the bodyguard with a look to kill. "You can glare all you want but the moment you do anything, I have a bullet with your name on it."

Although the bodyguard wanted to nothing more than to start his interrogation of the smug henchman and pay him back for what he had done, he couldn't act rashly and risk the end goal here. He needed to stay focussed on the bigger picture and wait for the rest of his team to get here before he would start giving him a smacking in quest for answers.

Shortly after the bodyguard and the henchman had arrived at the garage, two of his teammates arrived as well. They told him they were there through the earpiece and informed him that the third one was still on his way as he had stopped to ask some questions to the witnesses of the crash. The bodyguard walked over to the door to let them in and then he turned around towards the henchman to say, "Now the fun can begin", with a sinister look in his eyes. Realizing in just how bad of a position he was, the henchman, for the first time, got a worried look on his face.

In the minutes that followed, they brought in a chair from the back of their van and tied the henchman to the chair before they took turns asking him questions in a less than loving way. Each question was either preceded by a punch or cut of some kind or followed by one if he did not answer fast enough. In the bodyguard's case it was both. They had each asked one to two questions when the final member of their team arrived and told them what he had found out.

He told them that, the henchman had probably been so desperate to get away, that he had driven recklessly enough to lose control over the car when a cat suddenly crossed the road. Essentially causing his own capture. The bodyguard of course used this information to taunt the tied up henchman, who had already been bruised up and cut pretty badly for the short time he had been captured and questioned.

"Well how do you like that. Your own stupidity got you in this position. If only you had sat tightly instead of running away like the coward that you are, you might have spared yourself the pain you are about to receive. But you happened to be caught by someone you almost killed and I don't do the whole 'forgive and forget'. I am someone who likes to pay back my debts and so since you made me get within an inch of losing my life, I will return the favour and bring you within an inch of your life as well." He followed his words with a sinister smile, which made the hairs on the henchman's arms and the back of his neck stand up.
