They began to meet up more and Olivia even got involved in his business back in her home town. That is probably where she met Harold's nephew and began her simultaneous relationship with him. Him being a young hormonal guy, and her trying to walk around like every man's wild dream, she was bound to draw his attention. She took advantage of her maturity compared to him and told him all he wanted to hear, while enticing him with her body. She would send him provocative pictures, plant ideas in his head to ensure his loyalty to her over anyone else, including Harold, and use the whole damsel in distress act when the situation required it. Just like that she managed to get both uncle and nephew wrapped around her little finger, playing them like they were puppets and she the puppet master. This was all in line with what the bodyguard had heard from one of the henchmen, adding credibility to what he had told the bodyguard during the interrogation.
With her being involved and aware of everything that Harold was doing, she had made herself an accomplice and added more illegal activities to her money laundering. Anthony didn't quite know how else to use this information, other than using it in a trial. So, instead of thinking of some complicated plan, he sent it to the company lawyer and let him handle what next steps to take as he assumed that Joe would be the one to help Noah and Steve with the legal side of all of this. Since he didn't find much else, other than some inappropriate pictures of Olivia and a bit of information which suggested that Olivia's father was involved in some inside trading, he decided to sign off for the day until he heard from Noah again. The reason why he didn't consider this information as useful, is because he knew that Noah was above any blackmailing and he probably wouldn't go after her parents just because of her mistakes.
He was about to turn off his computer when he heard the sound of his doorbell. Anthony got startled by the sound as he was working pretty focused and since he wasn't expecting any company, the sound caught him off guard. Nonetheless he made his way over to the door and opened it, only to feel himself being more surprised now than by the sound of the doorbell. This was because before him was standing no one other than Rebecca. With widened eyes he looked at her before he responded with a big smile, "Rebecca! What brings you by?"
Although he had been to Rebecca's house a few times before, she had never been to his house in the two years they had known each other. So, seeing her here unannounced, was quite the surprise to him. But certainly a happy surprise and a most welcome one. He had planned to visit her after this was done, since he had wanted to give her a romantic surprise and formally ask her to become his girlfriend and if she was willing, his wife. However, because of the trouble with Harold Richardson, he had to postpone his surprise.
They were both sent on missions and had crazy long days, which were only over just yesterday. But then, during their little leave, intended to compensate them for those days, the trouble at the office happened and they were dragged back in. So, he had decided to wait with his proposal until everything had calmed down a bit. Although he wanted to do much more than ask her on a date and to be his girlfriend, he knew that it would only trigger her fight or flight response and cause her to push him away. That is why he had been patiently waiting for two years, despite falling in love with her on day one.
A bit awkwardly Rebecca looked up at him, tilting her head and raising her neck far enough to overcome the distance between his long body and her small frame. She said with a defensive look on her face, "I came here to help. I heard from Mr. Branson that you were helping Mr. Stephens and I wanted to see if there was anything I could do." Anthony raised his eyebrows to show his surprise as he didn't know who else knew, besides Noah himself, but he didn't expect Noah to inform Steve with him being in the hospital and all that. He repeated the words, "Mr. Branson?", before he stopped his curiosity and told poor Rebecca, who had still been standing in the hall with a container in her hand, "Oh sorry. Look at me letting you stand here like that. Come in, come in."
He then gestured for her to come inside before he took the large oven dish that she was holding, out of her hands. Rebecca thanked him before she proceeded to take off her coat, while he placed the dish on the bar table by his kitchen. He quickly came running back to grab Rebecca's coat from her hand, who was looking around to see where she was supposed to put it, and helped her hang it up on one of the hooks that were located way outside her reach.
