Their biggest supporter

Rebecca thanked Anthony again as he took her coat from her hand to hang it up and answered the question he had asked her in the hall, while he used his hands and gestures to guide her to the couch and to tell her that she could take a seat. While Rebecca talked, Anthony went back towards the kitchen to get her something to drink.

"But, uhm, yeah. Mr. Branson. I called him to see how he was doing and then asked if there was anything I could do to help. He was quiet for a bit before he said that Mr. Stephens couldn't be reached at the moment but that I could go and see if I could help you with your task. So, I here I am." Since the kitchen wasn't far from where Rebecca was sitting, he could hear what she was saying without any problem or difficulty. Hearing Rebecca say this, he had a pretty good idea of what had happened as this wasn't the first time that Steve had helped him find an opportunity to spend some time with Rebecca.

As he thanked Steve in his mind, telling himself that he should send him a gift as a thanks and to wish him a speedy recovery, he picked up the tray with their drinks and walked back to where Rebecca was waiting for him. He came back with some large mugs with boiled water and a box with different flavours of tea. He knew that Rebecca got cold easily and enjoyed tea above all else. The bigger the mug, the better. Those small, delicate cups of tea you see in the movies, are not for her. At her house she has mugs that are bigger than her own hands and even at the office she grabs the biggest mug she can find in the kitchen cupboard.

Though Anthony wasn't a very big tea drinker himself, he made sure to purchase an array of flavours when he discovered that Rebecca did enjoy drinking tea. He did this for the off chance that she would unexpectedly come visit him one day, without actually expecting it to happen. Today that decision from back then had come in handy. Aside from having something to offer to Rebecca, he had come to enjoy an occasional cup of tea himself as well. Now that she was finally here and would be having her first cup of tea in his house, he would gladly have one as well to join her.

Once he had taken a seat beside her and had offered her a bag of tea from his tea box, Anthony said, "I see. Well, I hate to tell you, but I already finished what I was supposed to do for Mr. Stephens. At least for now. I am now waiting for Mr. Stephens to call me, so that I can let him know what I found and did. I don't know if he will consider my part to be done at that point or if he will give me something else to do. Although I must say that I am surprised that Mr. Stephens told Mr. Branson in the first place, considering he is recovering from surgery and all that."

Anthony's surprise wasn't strange as Noah had indeed not wanted to tell Steve about everything that was going on as he wanted him to focus on his recovery. But since Steve kept pestering him about the status on things and saying things like, "I was the one who got blown into surgery, the least I deserve is to know what is going on." and "If you don't tell me, I will call everyone I can think of myself and pester them until they tell me what is going on, including your precious wife.". At that point Noah could tell that there was no point in him fighting Steve on the matter and he didn't want to. Instead he updated Steve on the status of the different missions, albeit in a very limited matter as he wanted him to rest and not worry about Harold and the matter of the explosives. But since he was constantly asking him for updates, Noah figured that Steve worrying about matters and being fully kept in the dark, wasn't very productive to his recovery either.

One of the things he told him was that Anthony had been tasked with some things regarding Olivia. Information which he used to Anthony's advantage when Rebecca called, performing his duty as one of their biggest supporters. Rebecca was a bit disappointed that she could not help Anthony with his task, but since that wasn't the only reason she had come by today, her reaction to the matter wasn't all that impressive.

She simply said, "Oh. I see. Well that is a bummer. I guess I should have gotten here earlier. Maybe Mr. Stephens will indeed give you a new task after you fill him in and I can help with that." Then she changed the topic by hitting the bottom of her closed fist against the palm of her other hand as she exclaimed, "Ah, that reminds me!"
