Noah nodded after hearing what Joe had to say, and he was surprised he hadn't thought of that himself but Joe was certainly right. It might be dangerous and Harold was most likely enough on edge as it is. Although he was behind bars now, who knows what kind of orders he has given his people before he got taken away or through his lawyer after he was taken into custody. Either way, a little extra precaution never hurt anybody. "Yeah, you are right. I will ask them. I wouldn't be surprised if the bodyguard went over there on his own already. But I will call him to make sure and ask him to head over there ASAP. As far as I know, the location of the warehouse is too far for my team to have reached already. So, I will call them as well and let them know of this change in plans. I am sure they won't mind a little extra security either. My people are all smart people, with a certain level of street smarts, but dealing with toughened criminals isn't exactly in their job description."
After that was said, Noah hung up his call with Joe and proceeded to call his team and the bodyguard immediately after. Once Noah had the 'okay' from the bodyguard, he told his team to wait for the bodyguard's arrival. When these two calls had been made and the arrangements were in place, Noah let Joe know that he could call for the local officers to join in thirty minutes or so. As that was the time it would take for his team and for the bodyguard to arrive. Noah didn't want the officers there before the people he trusted were on site. For all he knew there could have been people in the police department on Harold's payroll or in another way connected to him. Even a single person on Harold's side being aware of what they knew and getting there before them, could ruin everything. So, Noah wasn't willing to take any chances on that. Even if that chance was a group of people they should be able to trust with their lives.
Fortunately for Noah and everyone on this team against Harold, the bodyguard's location was closer to the warehouse than I.E.'s headquarters, which caused him to be able to reach the warehouse quicker than Noah's employees. This in turn allowed for there to be none to very little delay in the execution of the initial plan. As Noah was taking care of all of this, Laila had taken this time to process all that was going on and everything that had apparently happened in the time she and Noah had been apart.
During Noah's call with Joe, and the calls that followed, Laila was hearing a lot of information for the first time. What she had heard was both astounding and impressing to her. Just like Max, Anthony and Joe, she had also been in full support of Noah going after Olivia and was surprised to hear that he had initially thought of sparing her. Although she agreed that there was no need, for now, to go after her parents. She had felt that there had always been a need for him to at least give Olivia a form of punishment. But when she thought that, she hadn't thought about prison. She wasn't innocent but Laila had also not considered Olivia's crimes on the same level as Harold. So, hearing that this was the punishment they were aiming for now, gave her somewhat mixed feelings. But she also knew that if Olivia had succeeded in diverting Harold's path in time, he might have gotten away. He would have been allowed to escape punishment for what he had done and he might have even ended up hurting someone else. Or, after waiting for some time for things to die down a bit, he might have come back to hurt her and Noah and he might have succeeded that time. When she thought of those scenario's, she began to feel that the punishment Noah and Joe had in mind, was just.
Laila was snapped back to reality when Noah had finished with his calls and asked her for the second time, this time seemingly more confused, "...Laila? What else do we need to pack?" Laila shook her head in that moment and said, "Oh, sorry. I was lost in my thoughts for a bit. Uh, yeah, I think if you grab the clothes she has in the chest of drawers, we will be done." Noah nodded and responded with, "Alright.", before he made his way to said chest of drawers. He opened the first drawer and grabbed the clothes in there as he asked Laila, "Yeah, I am sorry as well. That must have been a lot to hear all of a sudden like that. I just didn't have the time to fill you in on everything yet. Partially because I only found out not too long myself and partially because I didn't want that to be the first thing we talked about after seeing each other again."
