Chapter 5: Hope Meets Soldier

~Jason POV~

So this is Japan huh?

I have to admit everything here looks a bit advanced than my own world that is for sure but then again, they did create robots in this world so I can say that our world is around the corner of developing it.

But then again, I could be wrong it's a shame to compare the Danganronpa world to my own considering how advanced they are compared to the ones back home.

But hey at least I can say I went to Japan and caused pandemonium at this place since I basically destroyed the plot of the story in a sense.

Considering Junko needed help from Izuru to frame Hope's Peak Academy she still needed help from the Steering Committee to get shit done with their resources.

Those bastards deserve it for killing off Hajime although I didn't think they were that cold hearted to kill him off, but I guess that was before I became the instead of him.

Damn I really wish to meet the protagonist of Danaganronpa 2 but I guess I won't be able to get the chance now.

Wandering around the area I happen to find myself a video game arcade as I glance at with a smile as I spoke out, "Well… I was wondering how different these games are here than in my old world. I just hope they have some good games to play. Maybe I can find one?"

With that I decided to take my time to enjoy some games for the day as I walk towards one of them, I happen to see the top score board belonging to one name, "Chiaki? As in the Chiaki? Oh, boy time to bring in a new era of game. Time for Blank to make an appearance."

Now time for the games to begin!

~Third POV~

As Jason was busy playing games for some time the students of Hope's Peak Academy were released to leave for the day after some disturbing news appeared on the web.

The charges against the school began with the parents of the Reserve Course Students demanding answers as to why their children can't enter the school or possibly taken the place after the practical exam three of their students were expel why couldn't the reverse course students have taken their places.

The principal and adviser of the school could only suck up to the parents demands after hearing the news and the cover ups, they have done in the name of hope.

Clearly people didn't buy that for a second.

However, the students were more so confused as to where are the rioting students from the reverse course from earlier are since they left normally leaving an eerie foreboding as they are nowhere to be found.

Like the calm before the storm…

As for the Junko Enoshima was having a blast listening and observing to everything happening she was enjoying the view with popcorn, "This is really the greatest show that I have seen! These talentless people are seeking revenge for the people who wronged them, and they get shit! How despairingly great to see them suffer! Ah! I really have to meet this supposed personally!"

But someone in the room was clearly against the idea as he began to speak while spouting off blood from his mouth, "You crazy bitch! I told you everything about the project now let me go this instant you whore! Do you know who I am!"

Junko didn't bother to listen to one of the Steering Committee members that she caught thanks to the info on google as she quickly captured and tortured said man for everything he knows very brutally.

Not caring for the old man in the room she casually flicks one of her deadly nails at the eye of the old man without moving from her spot as she kills him with no issue.

She was too busy listening to the news of Hope's Peak being slandered as the despair from the people hope would soon turn to despair as she grins crazily at this, "Oh, whoever this is I wanna meet this person personally I bet I can use him on my side of Despair…!"

She laughs haughtily before her moods changes a drastic 360 degree as she flips the table in clear rage, "NOT!! If that was the case then I would only need to infiltrate the place myself, but the reports say that he shouldn't feel emotions and suppressed his memories as well…"

Returning to her smart girl act with glasses seemingly coming out of nowhere she then began to hypothesis to herself, "Yet this seems to bear a grudge or hate for this school by ruining it? How…"

Trying to find the correct words she thought for a while till she came to her conclusion, "Odd…? Yes, odd is the word I would use here. Someone must have already known ahead of time before the project was at the experimental stage but already figured out it was a success without anyone present and be able to retain their personality intact as well."

Junko then spins around in an overdramatic manner as she began to discuss to herself in a curious tone, "But whatever the case it seems to me that the somehow managed to obtain his personality despite the fact that he should be a literal puppet to be controlled but no…."

Then she jumps up her arms in clear joy as she enjoyed the chaos that the is doing to the country, "Whatever! I mean his already doing my job for me bringing down Hope's Peak Academy and bringing despair, but I could do more than that! I mean I'm the damn it! How could I get any cred for my stunts if someone else beats me to it! And his supposed to be the good guy! Like what the fuck!!"

Stamping down on the floor destroying the table in clear dissatisfaction as she calms down and thinks things through, "Damn it all to hell! Sigh… I think I need to tweak a few of my plans because this WASN'T supposed to happen this early. Damn it all! more like the ultimate bullshit. Whatever for now though I just need to wait for my useless sister to come… what the hell is taking her this long that bullshit pig."

As Junko was busy lamenting over why her sister being late she had her hands full with something else.

~Jason POV~

And…. There!

"WINNER! STATE YOUR NAME!"

Ha!

Now that takes care of all of the games in the arcade all a success with me being on the name on all the score boards with the player Blank taking names all in memory of my favorite anime No Game No Life.

Ahh… now that was a really good anime to watch shame, they don't have it here in the Danaganronpa world otherwise it would be good.

Leaving the arcade with great satisfaction I started to get hungry as I left the area and memorize everything of the town I was in as I hurried off to find something to eat.

I just hope my luck kicks in as I need something to eat as destroying the scoreboards of Chiaki was nice and all, but it works up a big appetite for me.

Wondering around the area I happen to find a small restaurant in the area as I smile at the scene, "Ah! Finally, I can get something to chow down on. Time to eat the food that Japan has to offer the place where they can turn anything into food."

Going towards the restaurant I open it up to see no one is in line and a single girl waiting for her food I guess I'm in luck the quicker the food the better.

As I approach the desk I was met with a short woman sweating from what I assume to be the heat of the kitchen as she asked me, "Hello there dear what can I get for you today?"

Nodding my head at the kind attitude of the lady I took a glance over to the dishes on the menu as I couldn't just choose just one so I said what was on my mind, "Hmm… you have all of these good choices I just can't choose. How about you surprise me I'll pay any price you think is reasonable."

The lady just nodded her head at the idea as she began to hurry along with my order.

She seems nice, I guess.

With that I pulled over a seat waiting for my lunch as I can't help but get the feeling of something is targeting me.

Thanks to my curiosity I couldn't help but wanting to know who I was targeting me as I took a look at the person, "Say I can't help but feel that you have been daggering me when I came in here so do you mind telling me…"

Oh.

So that's the other person eyeing me.

Mukuro Ikusaba the older sister of the despair sisters and somehow the submissive one in their family.

While I was staring my eyes at Mukuro she kept staring at my eyes while she gauges me with her eyes.

I wonder what does the would want with me?

Have I jeopardize my identity no I made sure to keep my tracks hidden…

Should I make the first move to respond more as she keeps on eyeing me?

Well I might as well continue to start a conversation with the girl so with that I smiled at her as I try to start a conversation, "Ok… so then how is your day today? The name is Jason Borne, and you are…?"

Silence was met at me while Mukuro only gives me a confused look now why would oh!

Now I remember about her personality when it comes to people, she becomes confused.

Being the Ultimate Soldier, Mukuro is ruthless and can kill and harm others with no remorse. She seems completely indifferent towards other people unless it's her sister Junko.

Unlike her sister, she doesn't take any sadistic pleasure in hurting or killing people, but at the same time, she shows little concern for other people's suffering.

Despite being an incredible soldier, Mukuro is very out-of-touch with her own emotions as she has a notable lack of social skills, acting emotionless and indifferent towards most people.

She usually tends to have a cold, serious expression and a reserved personality and despite this, she appears to portray her sister's very different personality rather well.

She herself admits that she lacks skill in negotiating with others and planning tactics in advance, despite her renown as an excellent soldier while she is completely fearless as a soldier, she is afraid of certain emotional situations.

She only knows how to take orders from Junko and obeys her even if she doesn't agree with her.

I guess Mukuro is more of a tool than as a person, but I know that is untrue because of the Danganronpa IF story line.

It seems like she is studying me as she finally responds to me after a long silence have passed, "… You are very different…"

Raising my eyebrow at that remark I was saved from the bell as the lady from the restaurant told Mukuro her food was ready, "Alright their young girl your order is done!"

With that Mukuro took the food as she began to leave the restaurant as I could only feel like I raised my red flag right now considering that is a bad sign.

I better figure something out about this soon I think I might need to get something for this but then again, I could try to drive the despair sisters apart but then again, I would need a lot of stuff to make that work.

Hmm…

I guess for now I should consider a possibility for me to somehow get some ground of support against Junko but then again, I'm really over hyping her in my case considering I'm the superhuman here and she's not.

Her intellect is what makes her scary, but I have the superior version of it in my talent it's just in the matter of how I should go about this problem sooner rather than later.

Junko's true talent allows her to quickly analyze her surroundings with near superhuman speed, detailed thinking and memorization as this ability also allows her to learn and understand new skills and talents by just seeing/studying it once.

Seeing as how she was able to learn all the necessary techniques of how to create a brainwashing video from observing Ryota Mitarai, learn how to create her own A.I from studying Chihiro Fujisaki's work, and later figured out and perfected a method to selectively erase a specific set of someone's memory perfectly after stealing Yasuke Matsuda's research and her having also possibly obtained other talents/skills during her time studying in Hope's Peak.

Thinking about it clearly letting her live would cause more problems than I can afford to deal with.

But currently my latest actions only seem to have caused quite the stir in the school so for now I can only remain silent of my actions… for now…

That was when I was brought out of my attention as I see the lady return with a tray filled with different kinds of food lay out for me to enjoy.

Yeah now this is more like it time to enjoy the food of Japan for now and worry about possible doom for a later day.

Maybe I should head over to Towa City next just to see what I can get from there or even make myself an Iron Man suit yeah now that sounds like a sound plan to me could help me in the MHA world or a new one but best to modify it with all the best I can do and what the world has to offer.

Recalling myself correctly wasn't there a secret underground robot production in Towa City?

Maybe I should pay them a visit after I deal with the despair sisters but first food, then dealing with crazy teenage high schoolers.

Those bitches be crazy.
