~Third POV~
In the middle of the night inside the apartment of the villains that rented the hotel room, they were all planning to begin their infiltration of Central Tower while Nines was eyeing the powerful person from earlier.
The villains needed to take control of the I-Island Central Tower as it controls everything on the island. Once they have control over the island it will be a lot easier to manage to complete their intended mission.
I-Island's primary setting for research and development is the 200-story tower in the center of the island. It was built sturdier than a bomb shelter and is the central command for the entire island.
The central tower hosts over a hundred floors, each with a different purpose. There is an elevator with restricted access and a set of stairs leading to every level. I-Island security is managed from the control room on the top floor. Each floor is secured with shutter doors and special roof hatches in case of an emergency.
There is a reception hall on the second floor. Secret development projects are kept in the storage room and the tower's security signal is broadcasted from the server room.
There is also a plant factory on the 80th floor for research on how Quirks affect plant life. The tower is powered by a wind turbine energy generation system.
By capturing the Central Tower, it will be easier for the villains to take control of their security system using their robots that are patrolling the area.
The I-Island Security System's efficiency is equal to that of Tartarus, a maximum-security prison for supervillains. The system is wired into the entire island and controls both its communications network and the electrical grid.
The system can only be accessed from Central Tower's top floor control room. The control room gives the user full control over the tower's functions including closing shutter doors, camera control, and the central elevator. Central command is built like a fortress and can't be broken into.
Countless security drones are used to maintain order throughout the island. They are durable enough to take on Quirks and are efficient at exploiting their limits.
I-Island Security Bots are the enforcement machines of the I-Island Security System. Acting as the automated police force of I-Island, they patrol streets and inside buildings, using their large numbers, mobility, and durability to subdue intruders.
I-Island's security system includes small, autonomous drones that are countless. Each drone is extremely durable, equipped to handle the effects of electricity and more.
Each machine is equipped with electric reflectors and security cables for capturing targets. Each drone is extremely mobile, capable of jumping and lands from higher areas, and achieving great speeds with its wheeled legs.
The drones come in both a white and a red version, the red bots patrolling buildings and the white bots on the streets. On high alert, the machine's lights change from green to red. These bots will retract into themselves to form a solid, red shell if necessary to protect from high-power attacks.
While on high alert, the communications network cuts out for citizens, turning off cable and cellular connections. Security bots are used to enforce a curfew and can arrest people on the streets.
The system is also armed with restricting devices strong enough to restrain All Might. In the wrong hands, the security system can give someone overwhelming control over the island.
That was what the villains have in mind as they were discussing everything while Nines on the other hand was observing the highest power level as he kept his silence. While everyone was discussing the plans, Wolfram was getting annoyed with Nine's silence as he spoke, "Hey! Human science project! Where discussing our plans here to take over the island! Anyone listening in there!!"
Nine ignored the comment as he raises his hand over his chin as he observed the strong power level person as he made a confused expression, "Hmm… I would've thought this power is from Stars and Stripes…. However, her power is strong it's weaker than the one I have been observing for a while now."
Wolfram getting annoyed by his words began to move forward as he asked in an annoyed tone, "What the hell is that supposed to mean? Aren't you supposed to be the biggest gun we have to disturb this place?"
Nine shakes his head while the Nine's crew are literally at their wit's end with Wolfram's attitude to their 'friend' speaking to him.
Not even if they were hired to cause destruction that was when Slice speaks out her mind of their original plan with Nine's with emotional passion, "Human science project! Oh, that's it!! Nine's sir now is the time we deal with these waste bags! We already came what we originally planned to do and that is to destroy this I-Island so that we can finally cement our group to our rule!"
The Mummy agreed as he brought out his weapons pointing it at Wolfram crew who at turn raised their guns at Nine's crew as he spoke, "Yeah boss just say the word so that we can finally destroy I-Island! By destroying this place to the ground, we cripple the other superpowers of their technology for good. No need for the weak to use them against us."
Seeing tension rising the two sides were already armed but Nine's did nothing at all despite the scene ahead of him. Wolfram did the same as he noticed how Nine's was so calm but also the fact that he wasn't helping his allies.
Chimera looked over to Nine's expecting his help as he spoke out nervously, "Nine's sir… you are on our side, right? Nines…?"
That was when a sudden purple mist consumed everyone in the room…
*Swoosh*
…
…
*Swoosh*
The cannon fodder of Wolfram and Nine's crew were suddenly opened somewhere as Swordkil tried to speak, "Wh – "
That was as far as he could talk as all the air in him started to expand at a rapid pace so did the other grunts as they held their neck trying to breathe.
But they couldn't as they were not on earth anymore but more rather the area they were in the void of space as they looked at their home… earth…
In the vacuum of space is pulling the air from the villains' bodies as if there's air left in their lungs, they ruptured. The oxygen in the rest of their body also expand. You'll balloon up to twice your normal size, but they didn't explode.
But instead, they were being pulled in by the sun's gravitational force as the sheer heat of the sun quickly burned the bodies away not leaving so much as ash left…
…
…
*Swoosh*
Nine didn't respond as he merely saw that the person, he was observing began to move but that was when purple mist began to move around inside the room of theirs in complete surprise. As that happened, they were all moved somewhere else while Wolfram and Nine were sent to a desert of sorts confusing the two momentarily until they saw the purple dark mist again to reveal a young man in fully advanced armor step forward.
Wolfram was getting extremely annoyed at what happened but for Nine on the other was observing the situation with an intrigued expression, 'Hmm… that was Kurogiri quirk
Coming out from the gate was Jason fully equipped with his Iron Man armor as he calmly walks towards their direction only staring at them.
Wolfram looking very annoyed and extremely pissed off could only stare at the scene getting ready to use his quirks. He was an experienced mercenary before but the enemy before was just silently calmly going towards them with no words spoken.
That was more than enough for Wolfram to know from experience that Iron Man was going to kill them. A lot of things went off in his head but there was one question that needed to be asked as he calmly got ready, "Tell me, Iron Man, what have you done to my men…"
Hearing this Iron Man didn't respond as Jason didn't even bother asking an irrelevant question as he moves forward furthering to anger Wolfram. But he didn't want to act as he got ready to fight.
While Nine's on the other hand was observing the scene as a spectator position carefully looking at Iron Man analyzing him.
The two sides were silent as only Iron Man was the only one moving while Wolfram was the only one nervous throughout the whole ordeal. Having enough of the suspense he was the first to activate his quirk, "Fuck you, Iron Man! I'll – "
*Swoosh*
*Drip*
In that brief second Wolfram noticed something off as he tried to use his
Wolfram noticed the lack of heart seeing Iron Man holding it struggled to get it back as he sloppily moves towards his direction saying what he could, "Give… it… back… I… need… that… too… li… v… e….."
Meanwhile, Nines completely avoided the attack as he saw it happen at the same speed as Iron Man while he tried to take out the both of them. Nine's completely noticed how he stopped for a brief few seconds as he saw the whole process of how Wolfram lost his quirk being stolen.
His eyes widen only slightly seeing this as a different voice in a curious tone was heard in his head but doesn't register in his body, 'So it was this man that stole from me. That was certainly the
Iron Man just used his
*BLAST*
*BOOM*
A bright ball of light soon vaporized the mercenary as Nine took his eyes on Iron Man fully getting his attention as he monologued in a completely different voice, "
Iron Man just takes a fighting stance as he has his energy blades at the ready while finally talking to the puppet, "You AFO you are talking in that meat puppet is kind of creeping me out. How about you finally talk for real and not in that sack of flesh."
Laughing at that Nine's voice changed completely as he spoke in an AFO tone with laughter and honest curiosity as he spoke, "HAHAHAHA!! Now that is right Iron Man we should talk normally now that we have gotten to this point. Taking the persona of that man was simply awful but glad we can finally talk."
Iron Man takes this time to properly analyze AFO using an actual puppet as he tries to make small talk to obtain some information, "Sure thing, you great old man. What exactly are you anyway just a villain just trying to conquer the world? Or are you afraid to finally die after being alive for this long?"
AFO using Nine's like a puppet spoke through him thanks to
Just like that a flip of the switch AFO spoke out to Iron Man as he wanted answers of his own. So, the first thing he did was want to find out more about the personality he was dealing with in front of Nine's eyes, "Although most heroes I met are idiotic and prideful you don't seem to be that type. At least when it involves your greed. From my eyes Iron Man, you don't seem to have the capability to save others… no that isn't the right way to phrase it rather you lack the emotional effort or drive to care."
Carefully analyzing the situation, the two began to stare each other down as they provided to talk to each other to get a better understanding of each other.
Jason listening to AFO carefully spoke through his speakers in his suit to make sure he wasn't identified by him in the future, "What exactly is it to you? Heroes have their jobs to save people I don't see why that should care for them doing their jobs – "
That was when AFO points out the flaw from his personal experience of Jason's current mindset differs from the rest he used to deal with in a serious tone, "There that's it. You don't see the heroes as 'heroes' only people doing their jobs. The majority of people I have the displeasure of meeting always spouts nonsense for justice or this is what heroes do, or I will take you down. But you don't see heroes as Gods. You see them as people."
Not getting the picture Jason still has his guard up but he let AFO continues with his rants about him being different from the norm that causing him to have a suspicion of the man in front of him as he spoke further, "No most would assume to take it for justice or some heroic rubbish but you? You don't see it like that how society makes it out to be in the first place rather you already knew about it. A man who thinks like that and wears a ridiculous suit fighting other quirk users must have an alternative motive for their actions. And you stealing as well as returning Wolfram quirk only confirms my theories."
Narrowing his eyes through Nine's mind he spoke with venom towards Jason for his part slightly flinched at the tone, "You are the one who stole from me and made my quirk your own. I don't take kindly to rats stealing from me."
