Chapter 78: Not with a Bang but with a Whimper

~Third POV~

The room that was holding Jason suddenly began to spark up like crazy as all the monitors in the area as well as the supercomputer began to fry up with the heat of steam coming off from it.

More sparks appeared all around the room as all the terminals and began to break down as an unknown form of light appeared around them till all the screen terminals began to break down not meant to withstand the power.

*Crack*

*Boom*

The room that was filled with all the technological advances were being destroyed within the program itself as the power of the Fifth Trumpet proved too much for the processors and servers to handle such an unknown power causing everything to be a malfunction and break apart.

The circuits of each machine began to destroy themselves from the use of extra power not capable of withstanding as it blows everything inside up.

The circuits of the machines begin to malfunction as the pod was beginning to smoke the one containing Jason as sparks were beginning to fly off from it with black smoke coming out from it.

Noticing the smell of smoke Jason was quickly awakened as it woke him up in time from the smoke as the pod began to open up as Aiba warned Jason quickly, "Sir quickly get out of there now! The systems aren't meant to withstand a suicide bomb angel of that power flee now!"

*Beep*

*Swoosh*

*BOOM*

Jason managed to get away in time as the emergency signals from the room activated as Aiba managed to get away along with Jason as the room was sealed shut of the room till it exploded everything inside.

Once the explosion was done Jason and Aiba both see the inside of the room to see everything was destroyed as Aiba apologized to Jason for this unexpected event, "I apologize, sir, that something like this happens. I never expected that the Fifth Trumpet would ever commit something that drastic."

Jason nods his head as sweat beads began to sweat off his face as Jason responded to not foreseeing something like this as he spoke, "Yeah… I never even imagined that the Fifth Trumpet would commit something like that to destroy itself instead of being restrained. Although it's my fault I didn't consider the power of the angel would overload like that just to ensure I won't absorb its ability."

When he asked that Aiba then began to notice the change in his body through the bio scans of the bracelet as she expressed a sad face as she spoke, "Sir it seems that the Fifth Trumpet of the Angel of Destruction may have some truth to it. I can longer detect the Seraph Gene of the Fifth Trumpet anymore only the one containing the Salt King is available."

Listening to her words Jason crossed his arms at that as he expressed a frown once he sees that inside the door of the room that everything is in shambles as he used his quirk to recover the room quickly, "I see… I didn't expect something like that to happen even using the showed me everything but that blur pretty much told me something different. But I guess I'm underestimating the supernatural with something more mortal, I think. Aiba can you recover any data from the attack?"

Aiba nodded her head at that as she began to go through the data banks of the Neo World Program systems as she searched through all of them trying to find anything of value…

Only a few minutes have passed as Jason was also recovering anything lost but only expressed a frown when Aiba finally appeared again as she spoke to Jason while bowing her head in shame for such actions, "Sir I believe nothing was saved from the data of the encounter. I believe we have lost any data about what happened inside the Neo World Program sir."

Jason raised his hand at Aiba as he smiled getting her attention showing his ability as two golden wings showed as he spoke to her, "I wouldn't say all was lost Aiba. We managed to get the power and abilities. Even though we lost the Fifth Trumpet I would say we gained a lot for today's experiments but don't blame yourself about the Angel Extraction Plan."

Aiba now raising her head at Jason as he continued to speak forward about the next time with a happy smile, "Although it was partially my fault that I didn't expect the machine and processors to fail me. So, I apologize for failing to see something like this my bad Aiba."

At that Aiba merely shakes her head that as the next time both would be prepared for stronger materials to use for their systems.

Asura soon materialized as he spoke to the two of them getting their attention as he spoke, "Boss what's up. The business with the angel was a no-show sir not even a spec of them remain of the blast. So, what's the next course of action should we do next?"

Jason thought about that for a second canceling his ability as he thought what the next course of action for a bit is till, he finally announced what was the next step, "Hmm… Asura that is a good point. I think we should take care of that annoying final boss of that world."

Hearing that the two wondered what their master was thinking as Aiba asked curiously as she had her finger on her lip, "Ok sir, but would you get his ability to obtain as your own then if you were given the chance?"

Jason heard that as he shakes his head as he responded in a serious tone to her, "Nope. I don't want his abilities. Don't get me wrong while what he has is good, I don't want him to live inside my head. Remember he can take control of bodies, right?"

At the mention of his words, Aiba quickly remembers that as well as the reason of Jason ability of not only takes the abilities but will along with it as she spoke again, "Right… that is annoying ability to have when said will live it if you take his ability. If that's the case what is the exact course of action should we do then?"

Asura then began to speak to the two in a curious tone more directed to Jason as he asked curiously at him, "What are you going to do boss? You going to fight him head-ons like Shonen fashion or something cheesy like that with your robotic forces?"

Listening to that Aiba and Jason both laughed at the innocent demon as he tilted his head in confusion.

Once Jason was done with his laughing fit as he tossed a tear that formed from his laughter from his face he finally spoke out, "Oh my god that was funny Asura. But on a serious note, fuck no. I'll leave it to those who want to do that while we play the smart way."

Listening to that the both of them listened in as they both grew different expressions at that.

Aiba's facepalm her face and Asura looked at Jason with a stary eye expression as they now began to do their plan right away.

If the people in the cities didn't give up their control in return for safety they wouldn't have fought but as the people in higher positions refused to give up on such an idea the people were forced to fight the machines.

Luckily for them, Jason was merciful to them to let them live as he only wanted to destroy the JIDA power hold on the cities as he intended to bring order again for the people to start anew again but he needed to eliminate the ones who still knew the Taboo to be gone or memories erased.

That was why he led in the following weeks the JIDA cities with relentless attacks of his droids as the other people saw him acting injustice for the JIDA soldiers and deaths for refusing them to enter wanting to blame the grief of their life to others instead of themselves.

It's easier for people to blame others than blaming themselves so Jason used that as he disclosed propaganda of the experiments of humans and vampires compared to two to slavery and that certainly got the people's attention.

Even giving such information to the enemy proved well once the soldiers knew the truth and add the fact that they were facing off against the one person who handled the Vampires only made them that much insecure of fighting a person.

As such actions of Jason moves when the soldiers encounter one of the machines they immediately surrendered as Aiba was controlling them agreed to be taken away from the fighting.

Even though the whole JIDA way was treating everyone like family they are still teens or pre-teens signed up to fight for people who won't fight in the front lines and add to the fact they started to question their leader's motives of why shouldn't take control there weren't any arguments for that.

As the head falls off begins to turn to dust as the body of his also starts to come off at that moment was when Doji left the body but…

You who were the most power that this world can offer died not with a bang but by a whimper."

With that the strongest and most horrendous murder Doji died in an unimportant way as Jason motioned towards Aiba in his helmet screen as he spoke, "Aiba how are all the people who were innocent in the human experimentations? Are Guren and those scientists gone? Have their memories been wiped yet and what about their captured vampires?"

Hearing the beeping sound Jason saw screens of Guren being killed as he was pierced through the heart killing him along with revealing the truth of Taboo to his squad turning to dust for knowing that they died, and his weapon also destroyed along with the other Cursed Gears in any soldiers position.

The humans experimented had their memories wiped and healed, the scientist involved with the research of the Taboo was straight up killed to ensure that knowledge is gone for good in this world.

Seeing this Jason views this as he spoke with relief as he went ahead to the outside seeing the light as he talked to himself, "Show your enemy that you have a bigger gun, and they tend to be more agreeable. A good example of this is in World War with the atomic bomb but for me, I have a robot army on my side while the soldiers are flesh and blood. Now with this fight over with it's time to spend my time recovering from this world before heading out. It's too depressing for my taste."

With that, the three cities are now under the new reign of the Iron Liberation Army focusing on everything to return to an order of the world once more.

A few months have passed since Jason took over the cities as everything was now progressing swimmingly as for humanity getting their legs back together again.

Although it would take them years to get what was lost it will serve as a reminder to them to never fall to what happened to them for years to come from people that lived the Reign of Vampires.

For centuries to come many will begin to tell the tale of the Iron Revolution and their savior with a robotic army saving them and teaching those the ways of peace once more. With the productions of water purifiers and generators, the time will come for humanity to become the superior race once more on their home.

The process will take years to accomplish for them, but it will give them time to recover this for years to come…

History will talk about the stories of what happened that year for years to come as the people are beginning to relearn everything from scratch again…
