Chapter 86: Missed Opportunity

~Jason POV~

While waiting for Elizabeth to wake up I began to remember everything about the Goddess Clan specific magic of as it was used many times in the show to be very powerful for many of its uses.

is a Magical Power exclusive to the members of the Goddess Clan and their descendants of the Celestial Clan, as they possess a deep connection to Light.

is a magic power that uses light particles, which is utilized by the Goddess Clan. It can be used in different ways: energy beams, explosions, solid energy blades, barriers, myriads of projectiles, golem, etc. Highest-ranked goddesses, such as the Four Archangels, can use Ark on a massive scale.

The target is often enveloped in a sphere of dazzling light that suspends it between life and death and drains all of its magical energy, before shattering its body.

It is mostly used to counteract darkness by disintegrating it, though it can also cause physical damage. It is highly effective against the Demon Clan and the Vampires due to their powers of darkness, more neutral yet strong to the other races while being least effective on other goddesses.

As descendants of the Goddess Clan, the Celestials can use Ark as well, but at a much less powerful level.

Still though this magic is pretty busted as well since Elizabeth from both their media's can instantly heal others which were stated to outspeed Ban's Immortality of healing from the Fountain of Youth.

I can see how made the Goddess Clan pretty dangerous that can match with the Demon Clan although it's a shame that they are following their ruler's childish actions. Even I can see that what they are doing is childish as I know for sure they lack any empathy even wanting to continue the Holy War.

But I was certainly surprised as I felt the power increased once I have gained the Goddess Clan biology like I gained a boost for the Seraph. It might be possible because they are the same except the Seraph for a lack of better terms lacks the magic needed.

The Seraphs needed hosts to be able to affect the world but since the will vanished and became my own I was trying to see what was the extent of its powers but then adding it to the Goddess Clan biology just changed.

Maybe it's accurate to say the two fused becoming more of a holy being I suppose?

"Ehh…"

Shaking my head, I see that Elizabeth is starting to wake up again as I acted to see Elizabeth with a friendly and concerned matter as I spoke completely acting, "Oh! Elizabeth, I'm glad that you're ok! There was another demon that caught you off guard as you got hit while I avenged you for protecting me."

That was what the memories I implanted into her using the Flashback light on her as she looked confused as she saw some of her clothes have slash marks as I made sure to create false evidence of that as she checks her head.

But then she makes a full recovery as she uses her to completely heal herself although not completely convinced but returns to normal, "Oh… I guess that's what happened? These slash marks on my clothes look clear to me. Once more I thank you again Yu Fall for your assistance."

Whew…

That was a close one looks like implanting false memories do work on the Goddess Clan as they never had someone fuck with their head before but it's not like they can expect it from a human to do it.

With that, she gave me a short bow as she flew up to the sky as she tells me in a happy tone while I see below as she spoke, "I hope you have safe travels traveler, and thank you for watching over me. But I have to return to my brother and sisters human I wish you the best of luck in your travels!"

*Swoosh*

Ok, I know there should be a limit to this but am I, ok what I saw was the norm of this world?

As she left, I was really confused as I asked Aiba a serious but confusing question, "Aiba please tell me I wasn't exactly dreaming what I saw under her dress."

Aiba then responds to me inside my head as she is also as confused as I am as she talks to me equally as confused, 'Yes sir I saw it as well you're not blind. Are all medieval worlds like this as they don't provide underwear here or is it only for the supernatural?'

Clearing my eyes as I rub them, I began to talk to myself as I guess this is normal in this world as I spoke, "Ok then I guess the supernatural doesn't have something called underwear on them. This was something I wasn't expecting?"

Aiba then responded in my head with a nod as she agreed to what I said as I shake my head to get myself together as I spoke, "Weirdness of Angel's clothing preference aside of not wearing underwear we should start heading to our original spot. I think I'll take my time there and walk seeing that I do not worry about food again."

Leaving the spot walking away from the sight I decided to test out the extent of my new abilities I got while I know I was completely alone for safety reasons.

Although knowing my luck and how good this was somewhere out there something bad is happening and I just know that it's my fault that is out of my control.

Sigh…

I just hope I don't meet some actual threats in the future. Oh, who the hell am I kidding here it's the AFO thing all over again if one of the big bads is after me.

That seems to be a trend happening to me with MHA Nines, HxH Jed although the Nukes helped a lot than expected, Seraph of the End Saito, Doji, Angels, and Vampires.

But what can this world throw at me that is considered a threat to me?

As I asked that question Aiba then appeared in her hologram form as she looked at me with a deadpan expression as she spoke, "Really sir? You do know you're asking for Murphy Law coming after you with your luck, right?"

Nodding at that I began to reply to Aiba with an understanding tone as I replied to her knowing the dangers of Murphy, "Yup. No need to explain after all it's a trend at this point. Besides it will no doubt bring us to a potential target so no use worrying about it the matter is who is coming."

Aiba nodded at that with a shrug as I continued to walk in my direction to the capital of magic while walking there as I have time to prepare.

~Third POV~

In a village somewhere in the middle of the night another set of events were happening in a tragedy…

The village of a human settlement was destroyed with buildings destroyed and some pieces of the human parts hanging around even showing some bones sticking out from their broken body parts with blood lay on the village.

Inside a village that was filled with corpses of people of normal ordinary villages as all the people had a pale expression as if something sucked the life out of them. All the villagers had the expression of horror as some of the bodies are mangled with blood everywhere in some places…

Along with the pile of corpses of humans, all had a unique pattern on them as all of their eyes seemed to have been burned, and others seemed to have tried to speak but couldn't for an unknown reason…

But at the site of large piles of human bodies as there were three people were standing above them devouring light blue color souls.

A toned woman with long spiky orange hair. She wears no clothes, instead of covering the breasts, left arm, and right leg in her darkness. She has demon markings on her left cheek which resemble a beast's open mouth with a circle in the center.

A man with dark purple hair and a small mustache. The man has demon markings are on the right side of his face, consisting of three lines, the outer two curving outward, forming the shape of his Commandment's symbol. He wears a cloak that covers most of his body and underneath he is shirtless with his muscular torso and arms being covered with dark matter.

The last one is a young woman with long, pink hair. She wears a sleeveless white leotard with horizontal and vertical lines in the middle and on top of her breast. She also wears a pink bow on the choker. She wears long, pink stockings with white ornaments going around each stocking at the thigh. She is constantly cloaked in a shroud of her darkness.

These three people are members of the Demon Clan strongest fighting force they have to offer the Ten Commandments.

Melascula then began to speak with the other Ten Commandments in her calm tone while devouring a human soul using her long tongue, "Monspeet. Derieri. We have done our mission completing the goal of wiping out the Holy Knights in this part of the land."

Monspeet also devoured the soul in a gentlemanly manner as he spoke to Melascula, "Yes, the Demon King has sent us our goal to collect human souls to get stronger. But these ill-mannered creatures are certainly rude."

Derieri already ate the soul as she spoke out already bored of their goal as she began to fly up using her wings of darkness, "Good if were done here then I want to go take it in the ass and sleep already."

Melascula laughed at how Derieri language herself while Monspeet sighs at that but kept along with Derieri as she was now left alone in the area.

*Grumble*

Licking her lips in delight as her hunger is still apparent as she talks to herself as she talked herself in a blessed tone, "Oh I guess the human batch of souls wasn't enough to devour for me. I have to thank the King for letting me have the chance to do his work. I must do his work properly… slurp…"

With that, she took a piece of the human arm as her form changed into her true appearance from the Demon Realm.

Her original form is a short and thin white snake with red eyes and a line of purple dots along her body. After bathing in miasma from the Demon Realm for 300 years, she grew into a giant white hooded snake with purple stripes and red eyes, which she can transform into at will.

She then began to devour all the corpses as she was hungry for more to fill her stomach…

On the same night, Jason was walking around took a chance to relax on a nearby tree while watching the night sky as he talks to himself with a smile, "Damn… This moon is a beautiful one in this part of the world. Especially the settings of the Full Moon are admirable beautiful."

While looking at the night sky with a clearing of the night sky as he uses his to open up a blanket as he huddles himself together while admiring the view, "This world surely shows its beauty and its promise of something more. Shame with all the violence they could be something but that's not my problem for me to solve."

Aiba then appeared in her hologram form as she takes the poses of taking the pictures as she spoke to Jason, "Sir I have taken some photos of this moon to recall for later. I want to collect some things like this in your memory sir."

Jason smirks at that as he takes the full time to relax and look at the night sky as he tried to get himself to sleep again while having Aiba and Asura take guard to notify him of any danger.

At that time when he tried going to sleep, he managed to miss two Elite Fighter Demons flying across the moon as he hid under a tree away from the demon's views as Jason miss his chance to get the demon's blood of elites as he wanted to sleep to rest his mind.
