The night passed and the sun rose up high in the sky causing the entire forest to brighten once again. The darkness was extinguished like it was never there in the first place, and the magical beasts activities settled down.
Ryan was lying on a tree branch, bathing in the sunlight. The morning breeze blowing against his body felt just right for him. After an entire night of hard work, he had the chance to relax and he did so.
He hunted a few magical beasts last night earnings him a few hundred system points, luckily for him, he didn't encounter any trouble since he traveled on the tree branches. He only came down to kill magical beasts only, and after he was done he would continue moving on the trees.
He didn't intend to travel on the ground since most magical beasts are active during night. He remembered seeing a few fierce magical beasts hunting, which he avoided completely.
It wasn't because he would lose, it was the opposite. Ryan felt that only higher level magical beasts could be able to cause him trouble. The reason he avoided the fierce magical beasts was because he wanted to focus on collecting system points than gaining fighting experience.
Therefore, the magical beasts he hunted were deers, rats, rabbits and other herbivorous beasts. Since they are less dangerous and easier to kill.
He noticed that all the magical beasts he hunted could earn him less than 200 system points, which reminded him that the snake earned him 200 system points. He concluded that carnivorous beasts are worth more.
Nevertheless, he was satisfied with the results so far, since he was able to finish all the magical beasts he hunted in one or two strikes. Which gave him more time to hunt more prey.
At this moment, Ryan was looking at his status through the system.

As he looked at the amount of system points he had, Ryan felt excited. He was 200 system points away from unlocking the skill tree.
Then he turned his attention towards the ground and his gaze became heated.
Lying on the ground, A magical beast could be seen. It was Ryan's next target and the reason why he was excited was because this one beast could earn him more than 200 system points for sure.
Ryan hunted 4 other magical beasts last night and with the deer he hunted first, he managed to gather 810 system points. Afterwards, he decided to rest, since he was hunting all night, running through the forest looking for prey while being on guard exhausted him.
Thus, he became exhausted mentality and physical, so he looked for a place to rest. And luckily for him, his next target was resting right under the spot he found.
Feeling that he had rested long enough, Ryan stood up and decided to make a move. He sneakily climbed down the tree and made his was towards his target which was taking a nap right underneath him.
...
On the ground, a magical beast was lying down bathing in the sunlight. The beast was a tiger, the tiger's body was big, it was one and a half meter tall and 3 meters long. It was covered with red fur and black lines.
Traces of blood covered its face and paws. It seemed to have finished hunting and was taking a nap to rest after a satisfying meal.
The tiger ears suddenly twitched and its eyes aprubtly opened, it looked towards a bush that was right behind it, it stood on all four and glared at the bush as if it could feel that a threat was coming.
Ryan was surprised that the tiger have noticed him already. He hunted five magical beast last night but none of them noticed him before it was too late.
Ryan didn't have a concealment technique or skill, nor did he know how to hide himself well. The reason he was able to hunt easily last night was because of the cover that the night have provided him, Through the darkness he was able to hide naturally without any effort, which was why he wasn't noticed before.
At this moment, the darkness was no more and by looking carefully anyone could notice him if he wasn't cautious. Another reason was because of the tiger's survival instinct, as a predator, the tiger have enough experience to know when danger is approaching.
So when Ryan was closed enough, the tiger noticed him and it became vigilant.
Knowing that hiding wasn't necessary anymore, Ryan decided to leave the bush and confront the tiger face to face.
He moved out of the bush and stood opposite of the tiger, they were 15 apart from each other. They were staring at each other's eyes, both assising the opposite party.
Ryan's body was smaller compared to the tiger but the didn't back off. Nevertheless, he felt oppressed. Even though the tiger wasn't any stronger than him, its body emenated a fierce bloodthirsty aura.
It probably went through many bloody battles to acquire such savage aura, and even if it wasn't stronger than Ryan, the tiger probably had more experience in life and death situations compared to him.
Ryan knew that killing this tiger won't be easy as killing the other prey he confronted so far, which was why he was being cautious.
He was still standing in his place, the same goes for the tiger. Both of them were waiting for the other party to take action.
Times passed and the tiger seemed to lose its patience.
"~ROAR~!"
It suddenly roared and dashed towards Ryan, Ryan saw this and knew that the battle have begun. His gaze hardened and became focused, he wanted to go all out.
