Character, Stats, and Newbie Town

The last few minutes went by in a flash.

"Initiate. Realm of Gods." Ares said.

There was a lash of white light and he felt himself being brought to another place. A second later it stopped and he was in a white space. He looked around. It was white everywhere, for as far as he could see. A moment later, a woman's voice sounded out around him.

"Welcome player, to Realm of Gods character creation. I am the goddess of creation, Thesis. I will help you create yourself here and send you on your way to the Realm of Gods so you may start on your journey to godhood. First, state your name you would like to use." the voice said.

"Ares" he replied.

"Next is your look. Would you like to change how you look in this realm? State yes or no."

"No"

"The last step is your profession. You have three options to choose from. The first is to select a basic profession such as a mage, warrior, or hunter. You will have basic stats to go with it. This choice is only recommended for hard core grinding players. The second choice is random. If this choice is selected, you will be randomly gifted a profession. They range from basic to legendary. Your stats will also be randomized ranging from 0 to 30. may the gods bless you. The third is highly recommended for anyone. This option will allow me to scan your other body and choose the profession and stats based on that body. Your starting skill will also be based on your other body. since your class and stats will be personalized with this option, you would be stronger than most basic players out there who chose the first or second options. Now, make your choice. Be careful. Your choice today, could affect your fate in the realm." Thesis explained and warned.

Ares was a little bit shocked by the fact there were three options and not 2.

"Huh. Based on the other guy's memories, there should have been two choices. The developers might have made a last minute change. Whatever. This might makes things a bit more interesting." he muttered to himself.

"I choose option three." He announced to Thesis.

"Confirming choice of option three. Would you like to begin the scanning process?" she asked.

"Go ahead."

"Scanning Initiated. Please wait."

Ares then proceeded to wait for what seemed like hours. However, Ares remained patient. Finally, the voice sounded out again.

"Scan complete. Building player stats, skills, and profession based on body data. Please wait."

Just like that, he was forced to wait again. This time however, he only had to wait for about half an hour before Thesis got back to him.

"Player profile has been built. Player profession, skills, and stats have been compiled and applied to player. Player creation process has been completed. You will be now sent out to Newbie town #0095. I wish you luck on your journey to godhood. Good bye." Thesis said.

Once again, Ares was blinded by another light and whisked away to another place. This time, it was to his starting town. Not long after, he stopped moving and the light had died down and disappeared so he could look around and see where he was at. He was standing on a large white platform made of a whit marble. It was at least the size of a football field. Ares realized this was the resurrection point of the town. Ares exited the platform and started to explore the town.

He quickly soon realized the town was pretty big, roughly 25 square miles in area. The towns roads were made of smooth, dark gray stone as well as its buildings except for two, the town hall and the adventurers guild. They were made of the same material the resurrection point was. It was just the start of the game but there were already thousands of players in the town. Most of them were either looking for quests or looking for other players to party up with. There were plenty of shops in the town such as blacksmiths, alchemists, and restaurants and inns.

After finishing exploring the town, Ares decided to pull up his stats and see what the goddess or whatever had decided for him. With a thought his stats page was displayed before him.

Name: Ares

Profession: Elemental Master

Level: 0

Combat Power: 230

HP (Stamina *10): 90 Stamina: 9

Mana (Wisdom *10): 90 Wisdom: 9

Magic Attack (Intellect *10): 70 Intellect: 7

Physical Attack (Strength *6): 54 Strength: 9

Defense: 9

Agility: 7

Reading through his stats for a level 0, he was pretty impressed with how Thesis and the machine had evaluated his bodies capabilities. He then went to his skill page to check it out.

Skills:

Elemental Master: Passive

-Able to manipulate all the elements under their will.

-Able to sense, and cultivate elemental energies around them. By cultivating these energies, able to increase the elements trait stat or stats by level number. Each time a new element is learned, wisdom increased by 1. Any time a stat is increased from cultivating, wisdom increased by 1. (I.E: Lightning: At level one, can increase INT and AGI by 1 each. Will result in wisdom increase by 2. At level 2, can increase INT and AGI by 2 more each, making wisdom increase by 4.) *No free stat points per level. Increase stats by cultivating the elements.

-Able to create elemental skills. Can create any skill whose casting cost is less than mana pool. Can create 1 skill for each element every 5 levels.

-Elements learned currently and their stat traits:

*Fire: INT

*Lightning: INT, AGI

*Wind: INT, AGI

*Light: AGI

*Darkness: AGI

Reading the skill and it's descriptions made Ares let out a big smile. The skill was simply overpowered. Even though he couldn't get skill points per level like other classes, as long as he cultivated at each level, he would simple be a monster. Plus with the ability to create skills for each element and the facts that he had knowledge of such skills from his previous life as a cultivator, he was almost guaranteed to be a god in this game as long as he planned well.
