Pan and Tiger Lily rushed past people as they ran in the opposite direction, fleeing from something. Pan and Ti coming up on the warriors fighting off what they could only assume to be a group of Hook's men. There were about ten people there, all of different sizes and races, two of them quick to break off to get into the camp.
Pan was quick to pull out his swept hilt rapier, quickly confronted by a muscular man. His skin was adorned with dark tattoos and he mostly wore tan skins and brown leathers. He had his dreads up in a bun and his dark skin glistened with sweat as he swung his large cutlass sword towards Pan's. Their swords clashing and they both pushed off each other, Pan standing in the man's way.
A woman managed to get past Pan and ran towards Tiger Lily, a dagger in hand. This woman had short brown hair and tattoos that covered her tan skin. Her bracelets jangled against each other as she moved swiftly and her short brown hair swung back as she lunged at Ti. Tiger Lily dodged before lunging towards a large branch that lay on the ground a few feet away.
It seemed like most of these pirates had guns with them but were quickly disarmed by the warriors. They now had to rely on their swords and daggers to fight, which put the Clan at an advantage. The other warriors fought off a majority of the pirates, while Pan struggled slightly with the large man. He kicked the man in the chest, hoping to get an advantage.
The man collapsed onto the ground, as he went for his sword Pan stabbed the man through the back. The man looked towards Pan before collapsing, lying lifeless on the ground. As Pan finished this man off another came running up, exclaiming. "Trey!" Pan quickly looked up, blocking this new man. Though this man was fueled by anger pushed against Pan, Pan's feet making a mark in the mud.
Pan went to push this man away but before he knew it he was on the ground. Pan lay on his back, pushing the swords away from his neck, all Pan could see in this man's eyes was pain. Tiger Lily quickly turned around, swinging the large branch she had found towards the woman. The woman quickly dodges and bounced back, assessing Tiger Lily.
Tiger Lily didn't have any of her weapons on her, so all she had was the branch, which was like a heavy staff. Though it was a slight inconvenience since it was so heavy, the branch weighing about 25 pounds. Tiger Lily set the branch against the ground, that way she didn't tire, the woman taking this as an advantage to attack.
This woman was lightning fast, almost like she teleported right in front of Ti. She moved out of the way, getting a small knick on her side from the woman dagger. The woman smirked, licking the blood that dripped down her blade. Tiger Lily glared at the woman, the woman running at Tiger Lily again.
Tiger Lily quickly swung the branch, hitting the woman in the side, making her go flying. There were now only 4 of them left, some of the warriors, running over and tying the woman up, kicking away her weapons.
Pan grunted as the swords grew closer to his neck, his arms quivering under the pressure. The man had a grim smile on his face as if he was enjoying himself. One of the swords, Pan couldn't tell which touched his neck, the sword nicking his neck as one of the warriors came over, kicking the man off Pan.
Both of their swords going flying as the man tumbled off Pan. Pan quickly took his dagger out, throwing it into the man's leg. The man screamed as the knife dug deep, the warrior ran over to restrain the man with the help of Pan. The warrior looked at Pan and bowed, showing respect before the warrior dragged the man up against a wooden post along with the other.
They had two now, seven dead, though Pan could have sworn there were at least ten men and women there. Pan looked down to the ground, quiet for a moment before saying something under his breath. "Kojh in Mouyo" Which meant Rest in Peace, no matter the clan respected those who have died, for any reason, no matter who they were.
In a tent off in the distance was the group of children who quietly sat in the tent with the teacher. One of the men had managed to get into the camp, past all the fighting and into the children's tent. He was combing through all the children, looking for anyone who seemed of age. The man had a small dagger, no more than 5 or 6 inches long, the point of it against Fox's neck.
His breath caught in his throat as the man whispered commands to Fox. "Yell and you're dead, now follow me..." Fox slowly stood up, the man taking Fox's right hand and holding it behind his back, a small yelp escaping from his throat. Marmaduke looked at the man frightened, wanting to move to get the man away from Fox but frozen, his body not doing anything.
The man lead Fox out of the tent, the man had a tight grip on his wrist and the knife was close behind. Pan looked up to confront the prisoners, noticing Fox with the man in the distance. "FOX!" The man looked up, meeting Pan's eye his aura fuming, the man cursed under his breath and then ran off with Fox.
"Let go of me!" Fox screamed as fought against the man, Pan's voice giving Fox courage though, to no avail, the man basically carried Fox by one arm. Tears filled his eyes as he continued to struggle, he felt so useless, looking up towards the man. Pan dashed off, grabbing his sword as he raced off, almost flying through the forest.
Pan quickly caught up to the man, the man groaned as he quickly stumbled to get his gun out of its holster. Before he could shoot a bullet Pan cut off the arm holding Fox. The man screaming in pain as he stumbled, falling down in front of Pan and dropping his gun. Pan fuming but he held Fox, Fox burying his head in Pan's chest.
A group of warriors ran behind Pan, Tiger Lily with them. As they grew close, Tiger Lily took Fox, in her arms, his whole body trembled. Once Fox was out of Pan's arms he walked closer to the man who held his bleeding nub.
Pan glared at the man, walking up to him as a bright light steaming off of him, it looked like mist made of light wrapped around Pan. He was so absolutely furious at the man but also at himself. He should've had someone check the children, but he was careless. The man's screams turned into laughter, Pan looked down at him confused. "What are you laughing about?"
One of the warriors said sternly as they glared at him. Pan turned around, looking towards Tiger Lily, hidden in the shadows was a woman. Pan's eyes widened as he quickly raced to get between the woman and Tiger Lily. An arrow sliced through the air, heading towards Tiger Lily. Pan quickly moving, pushing Tiger Lily and Fox out of the way, getting hit with the arrow.
Pan grunted as the arrow plunged into his lower abdomen. His breath caught in his throat as the feeling of fire went through his body, 'Poison' Pan thought. Tiger Lily's eyes widened as she looked at the arrow that was meant for her. "Mun!" She motioned for one of the warriors to help him up but he refused.
Everyone looked at him as he got up, he pulled the arrow out of his body and groaned as he looked towards the woman, who lay dead up in the trees. The man's laughter subsided as Pan turned around. Pan held the arrow in his hand as his vision started to go blurry. Pan using the last of his strength, almost flicking the arrow into the man's eye.
Pan stood still for a second, turning around as he slowly walked towards Tiger Lily and Fox to make sure they were alright. Pan's eyes rolled into the back of his head as he collapsed as a couple of the warriors ran up to help him. The sound of the arrow piercing Pans flesh played in Fox's mind.
He had tried to get a look but couldn't bring himself to do it, fear ran through his body as he sat, gripped tight against Tiger Lily's body. The men racing to bring Pan back to the village healer before whatever poison seemed to be turning his veins black, killed him.
