Everyone scrambled to bring Pan back to the village as quickly as they could. After a few minutes, they made it to the village, the man carrying Pan telling the villagers to move as he went to the healer's tent. Tiger Lily following quickly behind the man as she pulled back the tarp covering the entrance.
The woman standing inside was small, an older woman who was hunched over a table grinding together a blend of herbs into a thick paste. The woman quickly turned around as she saw the two of them, Tiger Lily looked down towards Pan worried. "Intruders shot him with an arrow..." Fox had been behind Tiger Lily this whole time, the woman looked at everyone and motioned towards the large rock slab that sat in the corner of the tent.
The warrior walked over and gently placed Pan down, the old woman walked to the other side, wading through old books. She grabbed an older book that was falling apart, wrapped in rough leather and leaves of the trees that surrounded the village.
Fox looked down at Pan worried, the welcome symbol Tiger Lily had given him early, was now smeared and almost unreadable. Tiger Lily looked towards Fox and sighed softly, looking towards the guard. "Please take Fox to the other boys..." Fox looked up towards Tiger Lily, Fox looked towards Pan worried as he followed the guard out of the tent.
Not taking his eyes off of Pan till the tarp fell shut. Tiger Lily stood in the far corner out of the way as she watched the woman get to work. The woman walked to a small stone table, using a mortar and pestle to crush together herbs, and some water, making a gel-like substance.
She grabbed a jar of old flowers, taking one out and tapping the powder out of it, it was the same as pollen except it glowed a soft green color. After mixing everything together, the lady walked back over, pulling up Pan's shirt to see the wound.
She sighed softly, before slowly applying the green gel onto the wound. Pan's body tensing at the pain as it coursed through his body, slowly relaxing as the pain subsided. The lady looked towards Tiger Lily as she finished up, wiping off her hands. "Strong-willed, this supposed to kill in minutes...will take him longer to heal."
Tiger Lily sighed, covering her eyes with her hand as she looked down. The Lady walked over and rubbed Tiger Lily's arm. "He'll be alright dear, I do no have tools to heal him, he should be alright in a day or two." Tiger Lily nodded and look down towards the Lady, a saddened smile on her face. The Lady smiled softly and pat Tiger Lily's arm. "There you go...now why don't you go get some rest"
She turned around to finish cleaning up. "Oh, don't forget you inform his friend...Tilly Belle?" Tiger Lily chuckled softly and nodded looking towards the woman. "I will Lady Rivers" She nodded and made her way out of the tent.
Tiger Lily crossed her arms as she walked back to her tent. She couldn't help but feel terrible that she let this happen. Though she knew there was nothing she could have done to have stopped this from happening. On her way back she saw Fox, walking with the other children, she waved to the children.
"Sleep well rixj" A few of the children looked towards Tiger Lily, placing their hands together in front of them and bowing, some of the lost boys waving back. Fox looked up towards Tiger Lily, his gaze almost empty as he looked back down. He kept his head down as he continued walking, she would have to speak with him tomorrow.
She finished her good night with the other boys before walking off to her tent. Once back she looked around, flopping down on her bed as she ran her hands through her hair. It had been a long day, and so much had happened so quickly. She sighed as she collected herself, she looked towards the ceiling which opened up towards the sky.
"How do I tell Tink..." She spoke softly as she stood up, walking towards her desk.. She picked up a pen made of a phoenix feather, which was the same her father used. She closed her eyes as she murmured an incantation. "Hkunjmekh htij quojjuvo he hto mokjen fte nooxj ih"
As she spoke the feather lit up in a fiery glow, sparking and sending ash to the sky. She opened her eyes and wrote a message in the air. 'Tink, there's been an emergency here at the Camp. The Boys are fine but Pan did get hurt, he'll be alright but if you can make it here, We'd appreciate your help, but make sure everyone at home before rushing over.'
She signed it C.T.L, and it slowly disappeared in a spark of light, floating its way up towards the sky and towards the Hangman's Tree. It looked like a sparkle of fireflies as it zoomed through the dark night.
Back at the healer's tent, Lady Rivers sat on her bed, meditating herself to sleep. Though as she meditated, she was sent into someone's memories. She looked around the place curiously, London around the 1800s a little boy passed her, running from something. The little boy looked familiar, as he looked back she knew who it was and started following behind him.
Peter ran down the trash-filled street, running from a large male, tears streaming down Peter's face. His father carrying a bat as he chased after him. "PETER!" He screamed, it was like a bullet had hit Peter but he continued running, turning down an alleyway.
He just needed to get away, he ran down an alleyway till he hit a wall. He looked up towards the wall, scared for what was coming for him, he looked around and hid behind a box, grabbing his knees as he covered his ears. Trying his hardest to ignore the screams of his father that echoed throughout the streets.
Peter sat there for a few minutes before a pair of arms wrapped around him and pulled him back into the wall. Peter opened his eyes, the wall warping away as a bright light covered him and the appendages. Quiet surrounded Peter as he landed on a patch of grass. He looked around curiously, noticing a man behind him, frightened as he crawled back, hitting his back against a tree.
The man had short black hair that was naturally windswept back out of his face. He had a scar that ran down the left side of his cheek. He had a short beard growing in that outlined his chiselled face. He was muscular and stood at about 5'8'. He wore silver rings on his left hand and a brownish shirt that showed his chest with a leather vest that he left open.
His pants matched his shirt and they were tucked into a pair of dark brown leather boots. He had a bandana that he was using to cover his face that now sat around his neck. A necklace that a silver key hung from his neck and bracelets adorned his wrists. The man put his hands up, looking at Pan, a smile on his face. "Hey Peter, I'm James..."
