CHAPTER 10

The palace of South wales..

"Don't take things too seriously you don't know that girl!"mother scolded me as I was talking about the girl I saw in the library a month ago, that was the last time I saw her. I kept coming back but there was no sign of her, she had long curly golden hair, green eyes, lips as soft as a cotton, hands with- "You are not imagining her, Harry!" I stopped thinking of realizing my mother does not like her, well anyways, I'm going to look for her. "Harry, you are soon getting married, and yet you waste your time on this village girl?" She said as she leaned in and kissed my forehead. She looked at me with a sad expression, "Son, this is for you." I looked away and left her, they always decide everything that I do. How could I live like everything's normal?

I am prince Harry, I am the son of Queen Victoria and King Arthur ruling over the kingdom of South Wales. I have four brothers namely Sebastian, Peter, Ally and Thomas.

I took my sword and swung it around, practicing my attacks. "Your highness, Prince Thomas is here to see you," I got startled hearing our butler call out. "Uh, yeah please do, I mean let him come, in?" I replied not knowing what to say, he moved towards the door and opened it, as my brother came inside, my brother is tall, has orange curly hair, and has the deadliest looks in his light blue eyes. "Ever heard of the house up the hill?" he said as he walked towards me with his hands inserted in his pockets. I looked at him confused, "What are you talking about?" I asked. I haven't heard of the house up the hill in South Wales, "I heard mother was talking to you about this girl you saw at the library?" He said looking down to his nails, then he stopped and went towards the window. "She had green eyes, golden curly hair, right?" I smiled as he described the lady I saw last month. I felt the excitement as I thought of the lady. "She lives by the hill, go get her, otherwise there might be somebody else who's going to get her." he looked straight to my eyes as if he was planning something behind my back. "You seem to know her." I asked, "I don't, I just had a stroll outside and bumped into her." He murmurs, after that he left and headed to the dining hall. ‘Thomas must be planning something. It seems that it's a very tricky plan, but what does it have to do with the girl?’ I thought as the words that Thomas said sinks into my mind.

I threw my sword and went out. I ran down the stairs and called out for Mary. "Get my horse, I'm going down to the village." I said as I walked fast towards my room. "The royal carriage, Your Highness?" She asked as she entered my room. I turned towards her and showed my coat, "The horse, dear." I said politely. I saw her smile and ran outside. This girl is so cute.

PRINCESS AMARI'S P.O.V

‘HELP! HELP!’ My mind was shouting. I was already sitting down under a huge tree, not seeing anything but the tall trees, tall grasses, flowers and bushes. I held onto my knees and cried, "I should've just stayed home." With tears streaming down my face, I looked up and stared at the skies. I saw the dark clouds covering the blue skies, and heavy raindrops started falling from the clouds. I panicked and ran, searching for a place to stay. My heart’s racing, I could hear my heart pounding. It was getting dark and I was already soaking wet. "Help! Somebody, help!" I shouted while panicking and running around looking for the exit. I stumbled down and shouted as I heard the lightning strikes to the ground and as the rain poured even harder.

My anxiety made me tremble so hard and I cried like a baby. And all I could see was fire everywhere, I could see my mother burning. She was coming towards me begging for help, everything around me was on fire. I slowly crawled trying my best to get out of the fire, then mother grabbed my foot, "No! No! Please no!!" I shouted in agony as I felt the fire pierced deeply in my skin. "It's your fault! Your fault!" Mother said screaming, scratching my skin , I cried in agony. “Somebody, help me!” I screamed as she pulled me even closer. "Mother I tried!!" I replied to her trying to get away but she was too strong. She hurriedly crawled on top of me and started to strangle me. I struggled for air, trying to scream but not even a word could get out of my mouth. I was losing hope of getting away, maybe it is my time. "Amari!" I hear Gavin's voice calling out for me. "He-help." I whispered, suddenly the fire disappeared and Gavin was there. "Mother! She's going to kill me!" I told him grabbing his arms telling me how mother wants to kill me. He hugged me tight and softly pats my back, "It's okay now I'm here, calm down Amari." He said making me calm but anxiety was ruling over my heart and my mind, it was not stopping. "I'm scared." I said crying again like a baby hugging his waist brushing my face into his chest. "I'm sorry, it's my fault I should've not left you." He said sincerely, I felt like he was crying, Gavin knew I'm scared of the rain. He knows everything about me. "Mother was there, she-" Gavin pulled me closer to him that I could smell his scent and made me quiet. This made me calm down, but I still did not stop crying. "I'm sorry, I promised you that you would never see that again, but I failed Amari. I'm sorry, from now on I'll never leave your side, never ever again. I promise." He said as his words made my heart calm, my anxiety started to soften, and I felt safe beside him. This happened to me once, when I came to his room, and this is the second time. We were still on the ground while the rain was still pouring hard but it seemed that it was already drizzly. It felt like the rain stopped.
