Another disclaimer: this is my first novel so it probably won’t turn out that good and it may seem rushed, I know the first chapters have bad spelling and stuff like that but it gets better once you get to like chapter 10, they also get longer as I start to get better.

Lin Kai, the MC, is a regular guy from America, west side, who loved to watch anime and read cultivation novels, so when he gets reincarnated, he already knows what’s about to go down. 

He reincarnates into a good and well respected family and is the most talented in the world.

But because of his laziness, and his thought process of “I’m probably the MC of some manga or anime,” he loses his family to what should have been someone he shouldn’t fear if he actually practiced and tried to get stronger. He only survives due to the his knee system, which doesn’t seem useful.

Maybe he can turn everything around with his insane talent! But little does he know that even though he is the most talented, he’s still an amateur when it comes to getting revenge and making plans.

Mind improving, flesh refining, blood replacing, meridian improving and sense improving.
These 5 levels doesn’t have an order and you can start by one of your choosing, the first are the hardest and last is the easiest. Each level is also divided into 5 stages.

Earth roaming level- 10 stages

Heaven roaming level- 10 stages

Beta realm- 10 stages

Focus of power- 3 stages (relatively easy to pass) 

Devastation stage- 10 stages

Alpha stage- 10 stages

More stages to be added later on.

Until beta realm, the first stages are going to be extremely easy and MC and friends are going to fly past them.

Reaching Towards The Peak

"If she doesn't join the sect, I won't either." Hao Ran said, everyone couldn't comprehend this plot twist and turned to the Heaven Mountains elder, to see what he'll do.


The elder was put in a hard place, he couldn't recruit a trash but that meant he would lose a gold talent, as he was deciding what to do.


"Sir, you know I don't have a choice in this. I can't break the sects rules, she can come next year and see if she improved her talent, better yet, you can come out the sect and help her from time to time by giving her pills!" The elder shook his head and tried to persuade Hao Ran.


"No, I won't join your sect if you don't let her in!" Hao Ran said with a mad face, he was obviously pissed off.


Lin Kai stepped up and stood next to Hao Ran.


"I won't join either if she doesn't join." Everyone looked at Lin Kai, "Why would they care about you, you haven't even taken the test yet." Is what Lin Kai guessed they were thinking.


Lin Kai sighed, "Guess I'll just have to show you guys." 


Lin Kai walked up to the evaluation stone.


The elder looked at Lin Kai and his eyes opened, "earth roaming 9th stage!! Could he be..." 


As the elder was thinking this Lin Kai put out his hand, as a finger touched the stone, 


A notification from the system appeared,


"No." Although Lin Kai rejected he was glad that the system asked him and he knew that he could cover up his talent just in case now.


Just then a gold light had already shot up to the sky. Lin Kai put the rest of his hand on there, everyone could feel a rumble, like an earthquake was happening, some even lost their balance.


"This is!!" Hao Ran jumped up to Cheng li and covered her to protect her. 


A loud crack could be heard, suddenly a loud explosion happened in the centerfold town which had attracted lots of people in town, the evaluation stone had EXPLODED!


This has never happened in history, there were cases where it stopped working or cracks appeared because of someone's talent, but in all of the history of dengdai, nothing like this had happened!


"Now... will you reject her?" Lin Kai looked at the elder.


"N-no." The elder had no choice but to accept her, not only was a gold talent going against him, but also a broken talent!


[Host has now entered the Heavens mountain sect unofficially, any enemy of the sect will now be labeled as your enemy and will also tell you where there from.]


Lin Kai looked at the system panel, "Neat."


After replacing the evaluation stone, the rest of the people took their tests.


"Oi oi, isn't the Heavens Mountain sect getting quit lucky this time around?" Everyone that was spectating was flabbergasted at what was happening.


The rest of the tests were all regular talents, with some even failing.


A dark hooded figure in the crowd walked backwards making sure the elder couldn't notice him. 


Lin Kai looked at the crowd smiling, when he noticed the hooded figure.


Lin Kai looked at the figure and saw what it said above,


Name: Wang Xiang (Underworld sect, Enemy)


Lin Kai saw it was the sect that destroyed his family. His face visibly got angry and he decided to make a move.


"Elder, there's an enemy!!" Lin Kai yelled as he sprinted towards the hooded figure.


'Reverse slash!' As Lin Kai yelled out his technique, the figure saw the energy blade coming and slashed it with his hand. 


The elder got up in a daze, not knowing what was happening but he knew that it was bad news.


The figure flew off before the elder could do anything, although the elder would've won, if the Underworld sects elder wanted to run, he couldn't stop him.
