100% fucked up

"Hey, check your map to see where we are." Hao Ran said to Lin Kai as they were just walking around aimlessly.

Lin Kai pulled out his map.

"We just came from hidden dragon village and we ran south from there. We should be in this forest. The person I stole- I mean borrowed this map from made a circle that there are treasures here but lots of scary beasts and monsters up to beta level 5th stage." Lin Kai explained to Hao Ran as he pointed and showed the map to him.

"Hmmmm, now that we've abandoned our plan for now. Maybe we could try to look for treasure here." Hao Ran suggested.

Lin Kai nodded to his plan and they continued to walk in the forest. They came across some beasts like boars, goats, snakes at heaven roaming level. These would've been dangerous to them before but Lin Kai just used his sword and killed them all.

"That's a really handy sword, it can even kill heaven roaming stages like it's nothing!" Hao Ran exclaimed at how strong Lin Kai's new sword was.

"Mhmm, you know it! And I'm not going to give this baby the storage ring treatment." Lin Kai said as he put it on the side of his hip.

As they finished there conversation they walked to a cave. They quietly snuck into the cave looking just in case there was anything hibernating there.

All of a sudden they both came to a stop not moving an inch. They looked at each other and gulped. In front of them was a giant panther about ten times bigger then them staring down at them.

The panther had black fur and purple eyes. It was currently backing up like it was trying to protect something.

Lin Kai looked at the panther and saw its description.

Name: Rare Speed Panther

Age: 3,000

Cultivation: beta level 2nd stage

Weakness detected: Just gave birth, only as strong as a beta level 1st stage.

Lin Kai gripped his sword slowly and started to infuse all his energy into it while backing up with Hao Ran. The panther didn't do anything and just stared at them, waiting for them to leave.

Once Lin Kai had fully charged his sword he unsheathed it with his full strength and sent a horizontal slash at the tiger. Slicing it in half.

Hao Ran looked at Lin Kai with his mouth open. The panther was already dead and it took almost no effort. Hao Ran closed his mouth and noticed Lin Kai was breathing heavily. Lin Kai fell down and Hao Ran caught him.

"What a player." Hao Ran said in disbelief. He carried Lin Kai on his shoulder and went deeper into the cave.

There he saw a baby panther cub laying on the ground asleep. It was surrounded by blood that stained the walls and floor. In a corner, there was dead bodies that had missing body parts. It seemed the mother panther saved food for its baby.

"Don't mind if I do!" Hao Ran laid Lin Kai down on the blood. "Eh, he'll wash it off." He thought and went to collect the storage rings and anything valuable on there bodies. Wether it was armor, a sword, or even a hat. If it seemed valuable, Hao Ran collected it.

After Hao Ran finished collecting the items, he gave Lin Kai a pill and Lin Kai jumped awake. "What happened? Is it dead?" Lin Kai asked.

"Mhmm, your attack injured it and you fell asleep, so I had to finish the job." Hao Ran lied to look cool.

Lin Kai stared at him for a second before replying, "Wow, were some very strong people, aren't we?" Lin Kai said while clenching his fist.

"I know, I know. Anyway, what're we going to do about that panther cub over there?" Hao Ran pointed at the still sleeping cub.

Hao Ran and Lin Kai looked at each other for a second, Lin Kai broke the silence by saying, "Should we kill it?"

"Hmmm, I thought about that to, but maybe we can be cliche about this and adopt it, or keep it as a pet." Hao Ran suggested.

"No, I have a perfect plan for this! We can bring it back and let Cheng Li keep it!" Hao Ran exclaimed as he just thought about it.

"Your a smart man, you know... and a simp." Lin Kai said while saying the "simp" part under his breath.

"Awww, don't be like that! Your the smart one... and a asshole." Hao Ran said while saying the "asshole" part under his breath.

Hao Ran helped Lin Kai get up and they woke up the cub that was sleeping.

"Hey, little guy, some bad people came and killed your mom, but we came and avenged your mom. Her last words were for us to take care of you." Lin Kai told the cub while having the kindest smile on his face. Right now, he looked like the kindest man in 'Dengdai'.

Hao Ran witnessed this act and almost clapped at Lin Kai's amazing acting, "This is so beautiful, I might just cry." Hao Ran thought to himself.

The cub jumped up and started whimpering. It seemed to not even have grown teeth yet. But in front of Lin Kai's act, it calmed down. It didn't understand what Lin Kai said but it knew that he wouldn't hurt him.

Seeing this Lin Kai picked up the cub and showed it his mother. It started crying. Lin Kai ignored this and pointed at the dead bodies, then at its mom, then at himself and back to the dead bodies in the corner.

The cub seemed to have understood what Lin Kai meant as the cub buried its head into Lin Kai's stomach, in an attempt to hide its tears. Although it was a new born, it was naturally born prideful and didn't want to seem weak.

Lin Kai patted its head while he thought, "What a dumbass." He then gave it to Hao Ran and Hao Ran put the cub in his storage ring.

Hao Ran set a fire and Lin Kai destroyed the entrance to the cave. They continued to eat the panther that Lin Kai killed.
