Cheng Li has a problem

After Hao Ran took ahold of himself, he got off the floor and tried to brush all the dust off of him, only to see there was none, which meant Elder Fan's pagoda was super clean to not even have dust lying on the floor.

Hao Ran took a minute to take care of the bruise on his cheek. He touched it and it felt like a hundred bees were stinging him turn by turn. Hao Ran face felt like it was being punctured, automatically he took a high healing pill from his storage ring and ate it. Although the pain barely subsided, it felt better and you could barely see the mark on Hao Ran's face. This showed how strong Elder Fan was, he held back almost all his strength against Hao Ran and it still caused this much damage.

Hao Ran then proceeded to fix the chair that flipped over since he had respect for Elder Fan. He then straightened his clothes and went up the pagoda. At the top of the pagoda, Hao Ran could see Cheng Li cultivating. Cheng Li was sitting on a pillow that was on a circular rock. She had her eyes closed and was in a meditating position with her legs crossed. Hao Ran could feel that she was in the heaven roaming 1st stage which surprised Hao Ran.

"What?! Even with Elder Fan helping her, it should take at least six months for her to reach this stage. Somethings wrong here." Hao Ran thought to himself and saw the energy that Cheng Li was producing.

The energy was blood red and dark red in color and had a weird bloodlust that both comforted Hao Ran but also made Hao Ran scared for his life.

"Isn't she cultivating the wood element?! Why is there blood qi?! And why is it so terrifying?! From what I've read, to get someone this scared just from blood qi, you'd have to kill hundreds of thousands or go through something traumatic! Her family getting killed could be the cause, but I've never read about a bloodlust that comforts someone!" Hao Ran thought to himself while peaking in the room Cheng Li was in.

Hao Ran thought to himself about the theory's of bloodlust he has read before, "Bloodlust is something different from Lin Kai's killing intent. Killing intent is built up for a random person and controlled, if Lin Kai met somebody he never met before, he wouldn't be able to use his killing intent since he hasn't built up a killing intent for that person. A cultivator needs to build up a killing intent for every single person, if a cultivator has just met somebody and wants to kill him, it'll produce bloodlust, but bloodlust can't be controlled and isn't built up but rather spawned for a certain duration and then lost when that duration is over. Bloodlust also doesn't have to be targeted at someone, it can be created just by the thought of desperately killing someone. Bloodlust is regarded by cultivators as the primitive version of killing intent because it can easily give away your intentions. If you show killing intent, it means you truly hate someone." Hao Ran thought long and hard and then sighed quietly.

"Cheng Li, who do you want to kill? Is it the Underworld sect? Or is it someone else?" Hao Ran thought to himself and walked into the room Cheng Li was cultivating.

Cheng Li opened up her eyes in surprise and saw Hao Ran smiling at her. Almost immediately, the bloodlust around her disappeared. To Hao Ran, it seemed that Cheng Li didn't even notice the bloodlust that was around her the whole time.

"It seems she's not consciously trying to kill someone, but unconsciously trying to." Hao Ran thought to himself before Cheng Li did something that surprised him.

Cheng Li jumped up and hugged Hao Ran and said excitingly, "Hao Ran, your finally back! I missed you! I heard you went on a mission, are you hurt?"

"Haha, you know you have nothing to worry about. And even if I did get hurt, I still have you to save me, don't I?" Hao Ran said to Cheng Li in a way which made him seem like a prince. This made Cheng Li blush hard, making her whole face as red as a tomato which forced her to look down out of embarrassment.

"H-hey, do you want to-to see the view wit-with me?" Cheng Li said as she stuttered due to embarrassment.

Hao Ran smiled and said, "Of course. Anything for my women." Hao Ran took her hand and went outside to a swing that he had built for them. It was seated right on the edge of the cliff.

They both sat down on a swing that could fit two people and was more like a chair with a belt going across to secure them from falling off when swinging it. They held hands and they stared at the moon together with Cheng Li's head resting on Hao Ran's shoulder. Slowly the moon started to set and Cheng Li started to fall asleep on Hao Ran's shoulder.

Hao Ran stared at Cheng Li for a second, smiled and wrapped his arm around her. He then also fell asleep and also put his head head on hers. They fall asleep for more then eighteen hours.

They only woke up because the sun was facing directly at their eyes. Hao Ran had built the swing facing directly west, which meant if the sun was facing them, the day was already almost over.

"Hey, Cheng Li. Wake up." Hao Ran slowly and gently shook Cheng Li awake.

"Hmm? What is it, honey?" Cheng Li woke up and rubbed her eyes. She slowly opened them but closed them when the glaring sun rays hit her eyes. "We woke up this late?" Cheng Li used Hao Ran's cuffs, the wrist part of his clothes, as a shade so she can open her eyes and relax them.

"Do you know what you said?" Hao Ran asked Cheng Li with a gentle smile.

"Hmm? Oh! I said 'honey' didn't I? Even after we promised to only call each other that after our wedding." Cheng Li said sadly as she looked down.

This may have seemed weird to people, but they were both 14 to 15 year olds. It was only natural for them to have weird ideas like this that seemed cute to them.

"It's okay. I forgive you." Hao Ran said while hugging her head into his chest which caused her to blush heavily.

"Anyway, isn't it weird that we're planning to get married at a young age? We did say we'll get married when Lin Kai comes back, right? And you said he'll most likely come back in a year, which means we'll only be 15-16 years old." Cheng Li said to Hao Ran.

"Nah, it's totally normal. My uncle was married at 15 to." Hao Ran said to calm Cheng Li down. Hao Ran came from a noble family that was greater then Lin Kai's, so young people getting married was common in his family.

"Here, let's go inside and sleep for the rest of the day. This day is about to be over anyway." Hao Ran took Cheng Li inside
