Hao Ran stared at the trees and vines that buried Hao Qun. He felt relieved and started to relax. He looked at Cheng Li and went up to her. He grabbed her.
"Cheng Li, it's okay. You have no reason to be mad anymore." He said as he tried to calm her down.
Cheng Li's eyes started to go back to its original color and she fainted in Hao Ran's arms.
"Ref! Can you call the match now? Also call Elder Fan for help!" Hao Ran yelled to the ref who was now outside of the arena helping the other four elders fix the arena barrier.
The elder looked at Hao Ran and said, "What are you talking about? The match isn't over." As he pointed to behind Hao Ran.
Hao Ran started to sweat and turned around slowly. There he saw his brother with an angry face, staring at him. Hao Qun brought his arm up and touched Hao Ran's shoulder. He shook his finger and broke the whole left side of Hao Ran.
"Did I teach you to ever hit me?" Hao Qun said as he grabbed Hao Ran's arm and threw him in the air. Hao Qun flew up to and punched Hao Ran in the stomach, making him go even higher.
"'Dimensional elevation'." Hao Qun muttered to himself and disappeared from reality. He appeared back on the ground. "Maybe I should've fought him in the core disciplines arena, at least they'd be able to hold me back if I got enraged." He thought to himself.
"Wait, enraged?" Hao Qun thought to himself as he looked at his hands and saw the red tattoos going up to his fingertips, then looked at his brother. His brother was being beaten up in the air by what seemed like no one. But it was the 'dimensional elevation' technique a cultivator unlocked at the power of focus 1st stage. It elevates you to a different dimension and anything that a person does in that dimension, doesn't happen until he exits out of that dimension and back into his original dimension.
Hao Qun had punched Hao Ran over a million times in his elevated dimension and they only registered to Hao Ran after Hao Qun left the elevated dimension. Seeing this Hao Qun appeared in front of Hao Ran and grabbed him taking his own punches and bringing him back down.
"Oh shit." Hao Qun got nervous since his younger brother was always more spoiled and loved by his parents then him. He also loved his younger brother and didn't want anything to happen to him.
"Bro, you good? I can get you some pills to heal that. Bro, don't worry." Hao Qun started to cry as he looked at Hao Ran's damaged state. "Damnit! Why do I like fighting so much?! I hate this!" Hao Qun thought to himself as he started to cry more.
He felt Hao Ran's heartbeat and pulse and heaved a sigh of relief when they're were still beating and pulsing. "Oh, that's good." Hao Qun thought and then looked at the ref. "Call Elder Fan, now!!!" Hao Qun said as he yelled at the ref.
The ref stumbled around before going off to fly to a mountain that broke through the clouds. The ref landed at the top of the mountain on a valley filled with huge rocks and trees. It seemed and felt as if he was back at normal elevation.
The ref shook his head and yelled, "Elder Fan! A discipline is very injured and requires your immediate assistance! He might die any second!" It was very disrespectful for the ref to do this but being respectful wasn't necessary if there was an emergency.
Elder Fan appeared before the ref and said, "Tell me where."
"At the inner discipline aren-!" The ref said but wasn't able to finish his sentence. As soon as the words came out of the ref's mouth, Elder Fan had already disappeared. Elder Fan moved so fast that he left behind a trail of ripped space. The ref had to hide behind a huge rock to stop the strong suction force from pulling him in.
Elder Fan appeared in front of Hao Qun and looked at him with eyes that couldn't be described. Elder Fan didn't say anything. He looked at Hao Ran, he put his hand above his chest and a purple-black energy came out of his palm. The energy covered the left side of Hao Ran, after a while it had disappeared.
Elder Fan got on one knee to have a closer inspection of Hao Ran. "It seems we'll have to replace some of his body parts." He said after putting his fingers on Hao Ran and running them down across his body, feeling for anything that's destroyed.
"Hao Qun. Do you know what you've done? What you've done to your own brother, your own blood?" Elder Fan said as he lifted up Hao Ran with his energy.
"I- I didn't mean to... I lost control. I tried to control it. But-" Hao Qun said as he started getting ready eyed and started to regret every learning that technique.
"I had told you the consequences of that technique. You said you can handle it. But you obviously lied. You remember what I said if you aren't able to control that technique? If so, I'll give you three months to do whatever you want, say by to loved ones or whatever, then we'll proceed with your punishment." Elder Fan continued speaking and started to fly back up to the peak he came from. Leaving Hao Qun by himself.
"Yes." Hao Qun said as he looked down, as he felt like killing himself. Not because of the coming punishment, but what he had done to his dear little brother. He loved his little brother the most. So much so that if he had a place in heaven and his brother had a place in hell, he'd beg god to switch places, just so his little brother would enjoy his afterlife, it didn't matter what type of suffering he himself had to go through.
"The least I can do is grant as much wishes as I can for you, little brother." Hao Qun said as he looked up into the sky. He thought about his childhood life with his younger brother. How they'd mess around, cause trouble, and do every little maniacal thing his little brother could think of.
Hao Qun got up and flew into the air. He stayed in the air looking like a human without a soul. He then flew in towards the sect. Looking for a place to rest and think about what he'll tell his parents.
The people on the stadiums had witnessed everything. They started to talk about how crazy Hao Qun was and how he'd even kill his younger brother for the thrill of the fight. It wasn't long before bad rumors about Hao Qun started to spread around the sect, ruining his reputation.
