Recovering

A few days had passed

Hao Ran was still asleep. He was laid on a stone slab and Elder Fan looked down at him. Hao Ran was surrounded by an array that dropped rains water on him. This rain water seemed to be healing Hao Ran as his complexion got better with each drop. Seeing this Elder Fan puffed and said, "He's ready."

Elder Fan took a deep breath and lifted his hands. He made a cut in Hao Ran's body and stopped the blood from coming out with his energy. He then took out all of Hao Ran's broken bones and shard bones and replaced the missing bones with his energy temporarily. He let Hao Ran rest and went to go get a skeleton. The blue in color, and seemed to be in pristine conditions. Elder Fan cut some of the blue bones so it can fit Hao Ran's bone structure. Elder Fan started to replace Hao Ran's bones with these new blue bones.

"Ah shit. I forgot he's a fire cultivator." Elder Fan realized and saw the bones he was using. After a while of thinking Elder Fan shrugged and said, "I'm sure everything's going to be fine." And continued with the procedure.

Little did Elder Fan know was that Hao Ran was in a state of being between death and life, so he was able to hear everything Elder Fan said. "Is this how you should act when your trying to save my life?" Hao Ran thought to himself as he was dumbfounded by his Elder. "I'm never trusting that bastard again!" He thought to himself.

"Ah shit. Stay away from me bitch." Hao Ran said as he kicked a few hands that's were trying to grab him. These were underworld hands and were gray in color. They seemed to come out of nowhere. But Hao Ran knew they were appearing from somewhere in space.

Elder Fan started to replace Hao Ran's bones and after a few minutes, the surgery was complete. "Haish, if you were beta-level you could've just regrew them." He sighed and said as he fell down as if he was beaten. Even though this seemed like a small and easy surgery, Elder Fan had to control his energy to make sure he didn't touch a nerve or mess anything up in Hao Ran's body.

Elder Fan left the room before glancing at Hao Ran one last time. He went outside of the house and looked at the view below. He was thinking about what had happened and how he should take responsibility to since he was the one who let Hao Qun practice that technique. He then went back into the house and walked into a different room.

There, he saw Laying deep inside of a pool of spiritual calming water. There was also five elders who were chanting ancient words around Cheng Li, forming a barrier of words that enclosed around Cheng Li. These Elders specialized in healing and were surrounded by a blue lifeblood aura. It was the opposite of bloodlust and calmed the people around a person, instead of making them feel scared.

"Elder Fan, this is something unheard of! She could potentially become a demon that will terrorize our world!" An Elder who was healing Cheng Li said to Elder Fan.

"Hmm, this could just be because of a certain phenomenon that happened about 15 years ago." Elder Fan said as he touched his chin and started to think.

"You guys remember the dragon king who was born 15 years ago, and threatened to kill all the sect leaders?" Elder Fan said as he looked at all of them.

They all started to get nervous and started to sweat as if they just had a tiring workout. They all stared at her for a second. Not knowing what to say.

"Could it be that she is-" Another Elder said nervously but was cut off by Elder Fan.

"I said king, not queen, dumbass. But I have a theory. We'll first test her blood line and see where she born." Elder Fan said as a cut appeared on Cheng Li and traveled up to Elder Fan's fingertips.

Elder Fan drew a circle with the blood and drew a part of the world where the dragon king was born. It covered about 500 miles from where he was born. Elder Fan uttered the words 'Focus' and all the blood gathered at one place that was 30 miles away from where the dragon king was born.

"All of you know about the sudden growth of talents in the world that lasted one year?" Elder Fan said as he healed the cut on Cheng Li and took her out of the pool of spiritual water.

All the elders nodded their heads and had stopped their healing. They were waiting for Elder Fan to continue talking since they really wanted to hear what he was thinking.

"My theory is, the people who were born near the dragon king will have better talents than anything we have seen, even talents that are unheard of throughout history. Although this is a little cliche, I'll call Cheng Li's unknown talent, the 'Blood Love' talent." Elder Fan explain to the other Elders and had also decided on a name for Cheng Li's talent. He planned on changing the name of the talent once he thought of something better.

All the Elders had realized this and left Elder Fan to go research about this phenomenon. They would try to find any towns near the birthplace of the dragon king and would look for kids at least 15 years old to see if Elder Fan's theory was true.

Elder Fan carried Cheng Li in his arms and laid her down on a bed. He tapped her forehead and said, "Awaken." With just that tap, Cheng Li jumped up. She woke up, not knowing where she was. She looked around and saw Elder Fan.

"What happened?" Cheng Li said as she held her head, experiencing the worst headache she ever experienced.

"You unlocked a new talent, and we'll be going back to training. This time, it'll be different type of training." Elder Fan said as he waved his hand and made a grabbing motion, all that Cheng Li see was dimensions folding on top of each other, and felt like she was being transported through time.

Elder Fan and Cheng Li appeared in seemingly new world where everything was blood in color. Cheng Li fell to her knees and struggled to help herself up. Elder Fan turned to Cheng Li and menacingly looked at her, "Your training starts now." Elder Fan said as he raised his hand and pointed at her, gathering his energy.
