You will think I fell in love with one person, but rather two with the same face. 
They may have the same face but they are different.
The first time I fell in love was fast but was short lived. I lost him or maybe he lost me.
He came back but everything was different. I was no longer the same.
The second time was different. I was cautious. Even though he looked like him, he was different.
It might be wrong loving brothers, but you can't stop the heart from wanting what it wants

Twice Loved

During the week of spring break, Cora and Min Joon lived together. They hardly interacted with each other. Min joon tried to engage Cora whenever he was watching tv, eating or playing games but Cora was like a closed door. Eventually Min joon stopped, thinking Cora didn't feel comfortable with him. That wasn't the case, Dalton had texted Cora and warned her not to get close to Min Joon.


Deep down Dalton knew that Cora was not to blame for his family issues but he had always felt uncomfortable and sensitive with Cora and didn't want her involved in his life which included his friends. Dalton had decided to stay at Katherine's place till she arrived from her trip.


School had resumed and Min Joon started leaving the house for his classes, leaving Cora by herself most of the time. Min Joon wondered why Cora wasn't going to school or taking online classes, so he asked her one night while Cora was having dinner. It had been 3 days since Min Joon had tried to have a conversation with her.  It was getting hard for her to avoid him. So when Min Joon asked her about school, she didn't hesitate like she normally did and answered him.


"I'm done with school, I go to a private school which allows you to decide your pace in your senior year. I have already taken the state exams, the SATs and applied to some colleges. I only have to go through the graduation ceremony which is in May. Since we are still in March, I have all this free time. I was planning to spend the time with Katherine sightseeing and visiting some of the schools I applied to".


Min Joon was surprised by how much Cora was talking, this was the first time she had spoken that much. Cora looked up to find Min Joon staring at her.


"Did I say something wrong? I knew I shouldn't have spoken to you after Dalton warned me not to. I knew staying here was a bad idea, but I have nowhere to go till Katherine returns from her trip which is not anytime soon. I can't continue to ignore you or evade you when you try to be nice to me. Can we just pretend this never happened and please don't tell Dalton we spoke, he will freak out".


Cora grabbed her plate and tried to walk to her room but Min Joon stopped her.


"Wait Cora, don't leave. You didn't do anything wrong, I was just surprised. You hardly ever talk to me." 


Cora didn't look convinced, so Min Joon tried to comfort her.


"You don't have to worry about Dalton, I won't let him know if you don't want to".


That night was the beginning of a new friendship between Cora and Min Joon.
