From an early age, Cora knew she had to take care of herself because her mother sure didn't make much of an effort and Greg was just Greg. To Greg, Cora was just another person he lived with. It was hard for him to show affection to Cora when Gina made it difficult for the him to develop a relationship with Cora. Luckily, Cora had Katherine, which was a weird connection, the ex-wife bonding with the step-daughter. After Katherine's suicide attempt, Katherine and Cora developed an unexpected bond and through that bond they learned to love and care for each other. Katherine taught Cora her two favorite things, art and cooking and Cora loved it.

Living with Min Joon was easy. In the beginning, all Cora did was cook and work on her art but after that night she opened up more. She started to engage with Min Joon more, she involved him when she was cooking, spoke to him when he wasn't busy with school. Whenever they were both free, they would spend time outside. They went to the park, watched movies together, Min Joon took Cora on a tour of his college, they went to an art exhibition and concert as well. You will think that with Cora being younger than Min Joon, he wouldn't want to hang out with her because she might be immature but that wasn't the case. Even though there were times Cora seemed naive, she carried herself with confidence and maturity unlike any other teenager Min Joon knew.

For the two months that Cora spent with Min Joon in Dalton's apartment were the most exciting time of her life outside spending time with her family or Katherine. Min Joon didn't treat her like a burden and it seemed like he enjoyed her company as well. In those two months, Cora fell in love.

Loving someone and not been able to tell them and not letting them notice is hard. Cora will catch herself looking too long at Min Joon, or sitting too close on the train when they went out, learning new recipes just to impress Min Joon. With her time staying at Dalton's home reaching its end, Cora wanted to do something special for Min Joon.

With Katherine coming back from her trip on Saturday, they both decided that she will pick Cora up the next day, Sunday. So Cora made plans of cooking dinner for Min Joon before she left. She didn't know what to cook, after some deliberation she decided to prepare bibimbap, egg roll and kimchi, a very simple meal. She didn't want to risk it and make a mess. Getting the ingredients was easy, she just had to go to the Korean market. Cora started cooking late afternoon, since Min Joon usually came home around 5pm on the weekends.

Dalton called Min Joon, "Hey, are you done with your secret errands". On most weekends, Min Joon left on "errands", he never told anyone what he was doing or who he was meeting. " I'm on my way back" Min Joon answered back. "Since you are done, head over to Mike's place, we are going out tonight. We are celebrating me getting my apartment back, the guys and I got started a bit early. We are waiting for you ".
