Chapter 2

Beau's POV

I woke up when I heard the door opened. I slowly opened my eyes and saw my butler and most trusted friend Marvin smiling down on my with a tray on his hands.

"Good morning, Beau." Marvin greeted me.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes to clear my vision. I looked at him and smiled slightly.

"Good morning, Marvin." I replied.

I fixed my blanket and Marvin sets a bed tray table on top of me, revealing my breakfast. Breakfast in bed only happens whenever my parents are off, which was pretty often.

"They're at work?" I asked the obvious.

Marvin gave me a slight smile and nodded. I sighed and looked at my breakfast.

On the tray on my left I have coffee with creamer and sugar on the side. On the right I have an orange juice with no pulp. On the center is my plate with a chocolate crepe, french toast, two slices of bacon, and strawberries and blueberries.

As I ate I looked to my side, where Marvin was pulling out my outfit from my closet. He pulled out my creme colored sweater, my navy blue sweater vest, brown slacks, black socks, a pair of black boxer shorts, and a pair of black dress shoes from my shoe rack. He sets them aside on the chair near the bathroom. He brought out my backpack and put in a binder, a pencil case with two black pens, a mechanical pencil with an set of lead and a eraser, my sketchbook, my journal, my wallet and my tablet. He walked to the corner of the room and picked up my guitar. He looked at me and I nodded. He puts it inside it's guitar case and grabbed my backpack.

"I'll come back to get your tray after you're done." He said.

"Okay." I replied.

He smiled and walked out, making sure to close the door behind him.

I finished my breakfast and got out of bed. I grabbed my towel and went inside my bathroom. I took a hot shower as it was a cold morning. I got out and dried myself off. The tray on my bed was gone, knowing that Marvin already collected it. I grabbed my clothes and put them on, feeling warm as my clothes kept the cold morning at bay. I combed and gelled my hair. I looked at the mirror and sighed.

Just the same old routine every morning, only this time we have moved to the Philippines last month. In Baguio to be specific. My parents decided it was best if we have two houses, one in England and one here in Baguio where my parents grew up. It was quite odd to move as I was born and raised in England my whole life and never went anywhere in Asia, but I have to say I'm very interested in Asia for the different cultures it offers.

I head downstairs and saw Marvin waiting for me on the front door. The other servants greeted me "Master Beaumont" as I pass by, which I'm already used to by now. I told them to just call me Beau but they would not listen. Only Marvin was able to call me Beau, which I appreciate. Marvin saw me walking down the stairs and smiled.

"I already put your bags in the car." He said. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah I'm-" I patted my back pocket and realized that my phone wasn't there. "Just wait a moment, I left my phone back in my room."

"Alright, I will be waiting in the car for you."

I walked back upstairs to my room and heard Marvin walking out the front door. I walked inside my room and towards my nightstand, where my phone was sitting on my wireless charger. I grabbed my phone and unlocked it to see if it was fully charged. My face fell when the person as my wallpaper appeared. I thought about changing it but I couldn't. I'm not sure what hurts me more whenever I opened my phone: Seeing him every time I open my phone or not being able to change my wallpaper. I quickly closed my phone and walked downstairs. The car was parked outside near the front door, already running with Marvin in the driver's seat. One of the servants opened the front door for me.

"Have a nice day, Master Beaumont." The maid holding the door said.

"Thank you, have a nice day, too." I said before walking out.

I opened the car door of the backseat and went inside. I closed the door and nodded at Marvin. He nodded at the guy standing by the gate to open it. The gate opened and we drove right out.

As Marvin drove we passed by trees and small shops. I feel Marvin looking at me with the rear view mirror as I looked through the window on my side.

"So," Marvin said, breaking the silence, "are you excited for your first day?"

"Kinda." I replied. "I'm going to be the different in school again. I'm not able to blend in."

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Based on my appearance I truly look like a foreigner from a rich family, which I am."

"You taught some of the Filipino language from me, right?"

"Yeah, only a few. But still I'll be out of place there."

"You will be fine." He reassured. "Try to make some friends who can help you out. Maybe join a club."

"Not sure though." I sighed. "I moved here on my last year of senior high school. I'll be graduating soon and probably going to college abroad."

"I know its sudden for you to go to another school but don't miss out on the opportunities If you do you then you'll be lost in life."

I sighed heavily.

"I'll try."

We made it to my new school in just less than twenty minutes tops. I still have less than an hour before going to class. I watched through my window as student walk towards the school. Few of them are dressed in their uniforms while others are dressed in casual wear. I looked down to my clothes and thought to myself that this is far from their idea of casual. Marvin read my looked and held my hand.

"Just be yourself." Marvin said. "If they won't accept you for you then you should not hang around with those kind of people."

I looked at him and smiled.

"Thanks."

He smiled at me and patted my hands a few times.

"Now go and enjoy." Marvin said. "Your uniform should arrive next week and I'll be here before your school ends."

I nodded and got off the car. I watched as Marvin drove off until he was out of sight. I looked at my new school and took a deep breath before stepping through the gates. I can feel a few eyes staring at me, which I already suspected. Its nothing new to me anyway. My outfit is even different when I was in England.

I opened my phone and clicked my email to find my class. Its on the third floor. I began walking while looking down my phone, just an excuse to not see people's stares at me.

I busied myself with my phone, reading an ebook I just started to read. I should have watched where I was going because I felt my forehead collided with someone. It hurts a bit so I rubbed my temple with my eyes closed. I groaned and opened my eyes to see the person I bumped into doing the same. He was dressed like everyone else, except his hair is dyed in a teal color at the end of the strands and is long that reaches his shoulders, though his hair is in a ponytail. He opened his eyes and he was really handsome I have to say. Probably the most handsome one I've see in this school. On his left are two other guys, one shorter than him and the other a bit taller than the both of them.

"Sorry." I whispered. "I'm really sorry."

"No, I'm sorry." He said quickly. "I should have looked where I was going."

I nodded and quickly walked away. I can feel their eyes looking at me as I walked away until I was out of sight.

But my mind was still on the guy.
