Coming of the Runway King: Lucien's Story

Anyone who heard the name would automatically associate it with grandeur and extravagance, however that is not the case for Lucien.  He likened it to an extremely cold dungeon devoid of the warmth which made it feel like home. He mused that it was one of the reasons why he grew attached to those rotten rats.


Lucien shook his head to get rid of the past. He made his way to the dining room when he heard a raised voice around the corner near the dining room. " Byron, I really want you to meet my family. They will not be against us.  They don't care about status and social standing. I really love you." Lucien froze in shock on hearing the familiar voice.


Elijah Fabbri.  His older brother is in love and his other half is a man. 


While Lucien did not care about gender and such, he was suprised that Elijah was very much in love with this 'Byron'. Suddenly, he narrowed his eyes when a particular memory surfaced. His gaze held anger as he remembered that this 'Byron' bastard was one of Kain's friends and that he killed his precious brother.


" Byron, I do care about you but we can't keep hiding our relationship forever. It has been two years since we started dating. I want to tell my family so that they can be happy and not worry about me. " There was a brief moment of silence and suddenly "I don't care. You are now uttering bullshit about not being comfortable or ready. I am tired of being kept as a secret and hiding myself and I ... " his next words were cut off. It was silent. Lucien was worried and was about to step out of the corner when "We are through. Don't bother looking for me. I am ending our relationship. Goodbye Byron, you broke my heart". 


Lucien stepped out to see Elijah cover his face with his hands and he could his shoulders trembling. He noticed his brother's silver blond hair was chin length with black streaks and was dressed in his work clothes. Emotions surged through him at seeing his brother alive, he ran and engulfed him in a hug and buried his face into Elijah's chest.


Elijah was startled but he hugged Lucien back tightly. Tears leaked from Lucien's eyes at the reciprocation of the affection. " Lucien, why are you crying ? Did somebody hurt you or say something ? Tell me and I'll take care of it." Elijah rubbed his back soothingly. Lucien shook his head and squeezed even tighter. "Missed you and love you." mumbled Lucien. Elijah smiled at his brother's honest confession. " I love you and missed you too." They hugged each other and soaked each other's warmth.


Lucien felt grateful for the second chance given to him. They let go of each other. "You heard that entire conversation, didn't you ?". Lucien nodded and said " He is unworthy of you.  Choosing to keep you as a secret and hiding it was not good. You deserve far more better than that asshat ".


Elijah had tears in his amethyst eyes when Lucien said it all. "I am grateful for you. I will choose a much better man for myself and not someone who Kain shoves on me. Let's go for dinner and talk more later ".


Elijah was unaware of the look in Lucien's eyes at the mention of Kain but Lucien said nothing. Coz he had a plan.


He was so looking forward to the 'Brothers Reunion '.
