When You Suffer From Violence (Jung Heosok) Pt.III

"Is this why you left in the middle of the night?" Julian spat out.

His eyes were glaring flames at you as you stood petrified. her fear was kicking in again, just like all those days that she was silent while he lied a hand on her to put yet another bruise on her body. He didn't even notice how much weight she lost from what she was going through – what he was doing to her.

That look in his eyes made her feel that he was going to hit her again. Heosok's presence totally slipped off her mind. The only thing that she could do was allow that held in a tear to slip down her face as she opened her mouth to answer. "T-that's not what I…" her voice came out weaker than she thought, it fell on deaf ears. she knew that he wouldn't let her explain or want to understand.

"I don't care about whatever lies you are going to say!" Julian burst out, his grip on Y/N arms tightened painfully yet she was numb to the pain, all that she could feel was the fear that was taking over her. "I knew that you were overreacting and that you had to make any excuse to leave at this time! But I never expected you to be here to fuck my neighbor!"

And with that…Heosok's patience was no more. He held his anger for a moment trying to give them both some space but that was enough. Even he was just a neighbor to her, there was no way he would watch this ideally by and do nothing.

Heosok grabbed Julian's hand, yanking it off her wrist and bringing it up to be the only thing in between the two men. "I don't think that she was overreacting when she left because…you know, you tried to be a little artistic on her face," Heosok growled, his voice was low and stripped of any emotions as he spat out every word, gesturing towards the bruise on your face. "If you think that this is nothing then I think we can have the police judge that. How about that?" he disposed of Julian's hand with disgust.

Heosok was surprised when he felt Y/N tug on his arm, her eyes begging him not to do anything to Julian. He knew that he has completely enslaved her in that house, that she was even standing up to him. She wasn't even aware that she was doing that. She still saw the old Julian in this man in front of her.

It broke Heosok's heart.

He sighed as he tried to contain his anger. "What would you like me to do?" Heosok whispered to her, his eyes softening when they met hers. He needed to ask because she was the one that was going to suffer because of this.

"J-Just give me a moment, okay?" Y/N said she didn't even know why she felt that she could trust him or why she was here in the first place. Heosok hesitated, he looked back and forth at him and then back at her face. His heart wouldn't stop aching at seeing your face. But in the end, he sighed and nodded. He gestured that he was going to be right there if she needed and she smiled at him.

Julian watched in annoyance as the other man went in before turning his attention to you. "I don't even want to hear anything from you," She spat out, she found confidence in her voice that shook even her, maybe it was because of the fact that Heosok was right there? She didn't know. "I'm done with you Julian!" she yelled on top of her lungs, she didn't have anything else to tell him, she felt that he didn't even deserve an explanation.

Y/N took the chance when he was in haze and went inside the house, locking the door right after her. She was surprised that there were no knocks but she knew that he must be scared that Heosok would seriously call the cops, she watched through the window as she saw him leave in the direction of their house. She felt that she could breathe again.

Heosok showed her up to the guest room, gave her a change of clothes, and told her that he would be downstairs making something so she could eat. She appreciated how he didn't ask about anything, all she felt was being grateful for doing all this to her.

Surprisingly she took a shower, the warm water stinging the bruises on her body so she kept it short. Y/N changed into the clothes that were laying on the bed, too big on her apparently, but she decided that it was better than her own clothes. She went downstairs to see a simple meal laid on the table, Heosok sitting on the kitchen bar, greeting her with a grin gesturing to the seat in front of her.

She didn't realize that she was that hungry, and she has got to admit that he was a great cook too. "Why aren't you asking anything?" she finally asked as she tried to make eye-contact.

"I feel that what you have been going through has nothing to do with me," he said as he sipped on his water. "But, I feel responsible for what I did see, and what I saw was that he was an asshole…" he paused as he took a glimpse of the bruise that was apparent through the clothes that he gave her. Y/N felt the stares, she cleared her throat and covered as much as possible.

"What I wanna say is that I don't want to know anything that you don't want me to know," he said with a sad smile on his face as he started to clear the dishes.

"N-No let me," she said getting up to hurry after him. Heosok looked at her and knew that she would sulk about it if he said no. So he nodded as he gave her space in front of the sink. He glanced at his watch. "I can still get a couple of hours of sleep before work," he said. "You should rest too. If you can't sleep help yourself to the TV." He smiled and Y/N returned it as well, watching him as he went up the stairs.

Even though she was in a stranger's house, she slept soundly feeling secure to her bones. She allowed her body to sink inside the comfy bed sheets and cover, letting sleep take over her.

She felt that she slept through the whole morning by the time she opened her eyes. She grinned to herself as she realized that this was the best sleep that she has had in days. She got up, made her bed, and went down after washing up. To find breakfast lying on the kitchen bar with a sticky note next to it. She took in confusion to see that Heosok was telling her that she was free to stay for as long as she wanted and he would be back early today. She smiled like an idiot…she felt happy that he was coming early. When was the last time she felt happy and looking forward to something? She didn't know.

She couldn't even dwell too much in peace before the banging on the door pulled her out, it made her jump out of her skin. She held the note to her chest as she took small steps towards the door. Julian standing right there again made her take a step back, she felt her knees give in underneath her to fall to the floor with a loud thud.

"Y/N! open the door I know that you are in there!" Julian yelled. Y/N felt that she was one with the floor she couldn't even move or hide as Julian's bangs on the door only got louder and harder. She watched the door burst open by force, revealing him. He was panting hard while smirking at her pathetic figure on the floor.

"I knew that you were here," Julian uttered, he covered the distance between them in a few strides. Grabbing her harshly by the jaw fixing her eyes on him. Y/N couldn't say if she was ever this scared of him before. She wanted to scream but only tears fell down her face. "Shall you go back with me now?" he smirked.

Y/N felt her stomach twist as she tried to get away, trying to get his hands off her. "I see that you have got some spirit into you now," he exclaimed. "You are only going to make this fun." He has finally lost all his sense. She tried to get away with all her power, she managed to push him off guard but it was no use, she only got to take a couple of steps before she fell to the floor again. Her body remembers the fear and refuses to move.

So…she closed her eyes and wished that this would be over soon. She tightened her fist on the ground waiting to be hit again. And she heard it, but it wasn't her that was being hit.

It was Julian. He was on the floor groaning with Heosok panting with his hands fisted. He undid his tie as he stood straight. "You dare break into my house you bastard!?" he spat out. "And you dare lay a finger on my woman too?" he poked the inside of his mouth. Y/N and Julian both stared in disbelief.

"Y-Your woman!?" Julian exclaimed as he tried to get up, only to be pushed down again by Heosok's foot. Seconds later the police was everywhere around the house, dragging him away. Heosok hurried to Y/N to fall to his knees, the anger was no longer there. It was only worrying.

"You are right?" he said looking into her eyes as his thumb caressed her cheek. "You are going to be my woman."

She chuckled in happiness while tears ran down her fear, she knew that this was crazy, she knew that this made no sense. But… she has never felt so secure in someone's arms, and she wanted to keep it.
