When You Find Him Bleeding And You Are A Doctor (Tae) Pt.3

His name was going back and forth in your head, you couldn't help but be reminded of that scene for the bond movies. And Tae Hyung was by far more handsome than James Bond will ever be.

Somehow, you were able to think of all that while doing your job. You did the last stitches on the old man's leg and you were finally able to straighten your back after 30 minutes of staying in that position. The events of last night were ravishing through your head like a drill.

"I can't begin to thank you enough, Dr. Y/N!" Catherine said as she hugged you once you were off the chair. "Dr. Quinn said that she will not be able to make it, and we just got the incoming from a car crash! I didn't know who else to call."

You saw the guilt in her eyes, and honestly, after what you did last night you had no right to be judgmental. "You did the right thing, Cath," you said as you patted her shoulder. "Just give him morphine if he said he is in pain."

She nodded and you dipped your hands in the pockets of your coat as you stretched your neck. You hurried to the changing room, to dump your lap coat, getting your stuff, and hurry to go home. A voice inside you said that the hotshot won't be there when you return. You felt almost…disappointed at that fact.

You walked your way to your apartment that was a 15-minute walk from the hospital. You didn't realize you were already there as your head was the busy thing about something – more like someone until you heard the lock pick as your key twisted. Your ability to navigate your way while daydreaming was something that surprises even you.

You sighed in relief, a habit that has gotten into you since working in the hospital. But what made you more relieved was the pair of male boots at the door…" He is still here unless he left without his shoes," you mumbled to yourself as you walked inside the living room, dumping the keys on the table. "I'm home," you don't know why you said that but, you always wanted to say this to someone. You wanted someone to be there looking forward to your return.

And the man that was in the exact position that you left him in was that someone you were looking for – at least for the time being. Instead of replying, he stared blankly at you. You saw him blink innocently at you through the curled bangs that were falling into his eyes.

"Some has been obedient," You chuckle as you took off your coat. And still, you didn't get a reply. You took a deep breath and turned to look at him. "How are you feeling?"

"Hungry,"

You were taken aback. That wasn't the reply that you were waiting for but... you can't complain.

"O-Okay," you said, starting to tie your hair into a ponytail as you walked to the open kitchen in the side of the living room. You were aware of his gaze as he watched your every move. "Why didn't you fix yourself something to eat? A snack or something."

"I was in too much pain," his raspy voice sent the chills down your spine. "So. I figured I can wait for you to come home. You must be hungry too."

You halted as you were opening the fridge…did he just say he cared about you? That he was waiting for you!? You cleared your throat as your back was to him yet you felt so naked in front of him. "R-right, I brought some painkillers from the hospital on my way, they are in my bag," you said changing the subject.

Tae Hyung scanned the room and walked to where your bag was. He opened once he got the gesture from you that it was alright. You couldn't help but think how much of a gentleman he was being…him being a gangster and all. He took the medicine and sat back down, you were aware of the way his face flinched from the movements that he made.

It was a small wound but still, being cut open hurts like hell. The apartment was quiet except for the sound of the food on the stove, you chopped the veggies that you needed while the pasta was boiling. You were too into it that you didn't notice that tall male figure that was inches from you.

You flinched with a yelp almost cutting yourself with the knife. "Careful there, we can't have you injure your delicate hands," he said. You felt his breath on the nape of your exposed neck, it sent goosebumps all over your arms – you thanked heavens for wearing a long-sleeved shirt.

"Y-you should make some noise while you walk!" you cleared your throat as you got away. He was a gangster for God's sake! You slapped yourself mentally. "I-If you can walk then set the table!"

He rose an eyebrow at you as he took the plates that you shoved at him. "What a way to treat your patient," he mumbled and you ignored.

Soon the two of you were already eating. From how silently he was eating, you figured that he liked the food that you made, it wasn't much but you did your best. All throughout the meal you kept screaming at yourself for this situation you were in. You were having a stranger in your house and now you were having lunch with him! You kept stealing glances at him as you ate, and once you stared too hard.

"What do you want to ask?" he asked. Again his voice sent shivers down your spine.

"Are you really a gangster!?" the words slipped out of your tongue as you watched him eat – which was the sexiest thing that you have ever lied eyes on.

He finally raised his eyes off his almost empty plate, gazing at you as you were wide-eyed, blinking innocently at him. it was hard to see you like the same woman last night carrying his half-dead body from the cold and into your warm house.

"I'm a lawyer," he bluntly said.

"L-Lawyer!" you yelled out choking on your own food. "B-But these gangsters were looking for you!?" your already wide eyes were even wider now as you looked at him.

"I'm not that kind of lawyer," he said. "I know the law so that I can go around it."

"O-Oh," you couldn't say that you fully understood what was going on, or what he meant but you knew that it was something dangerous. All these scars on his body were proof enough for that. "Don't you have someone to stay with?"

He shook his head. "No one that they don't already know off," he said taking the last bite.

"You can't stay here!" You yelled again, he sighed with his eyes closed.

"Why do you hate it?"

"No,"

"W-wait what!?" You added shocked by your own answer. "That's not what I meant! I…"

"Why?"

You blinked again as he interrupted you again. "Why what?" you puzzled. "You know you have been asking why about really obvious things! You can't stay here because I don't know you."

"That's not what I meant," he said dropping his head down, clearly annoyed at your ignorance. His thick hair was hiding his face. "Why did you save me? If these guys saw you carrying me home you wouldn't even imagine what would have happened to you."

You swallowed your saliva hard. He had a point, you have to admit that. "I didn't want you to be my first dead patient. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself knowing that I could have saved you."

He raised his head, you locked eyes for a long while as silence rose around you. "Let me ask you something as well then," you said, taking his silence as a yes. "Why are they looking for you?"

You leaned back in his chair. "I was supposed to get their boss out of a mess, and I couldn't," he said. "Honestly, no one could have gotten him out of that drug deal." He frowned.

You were already catching on. "So his men were after you," you concluded and he nodded as he rose from his seat. Just as you were standing to clear the dishes, you heard the doorbell ring. You wondered who was that, you weren't expecting anyone.

"Oh yeah," Tae Hyung said turning to look at you midway. "I called a friend to get me a change of clothes."

"Oh no you didn't!" you yelled.
