Yin-Yang Cycle, Crisis Averted

Lingbao finally arrived at the ocean with Mengwu in his arms and the baby in a hammock blanket around his neck.

Without hesitation, he threw Mengwu into the ocean. Weakly, with her last breath, Mengwu spoke softly into the ocean: "Yin-Yang... Cycle"

At first there was no response. Lingbao wondered if he made the wrong choice when suddenly, a golden Daoist circle appeared under Mengwu's body from the ocean. As a white light appeared on the space between Mengwu's eyebrows, congealing into a fish shape marked 'Yang' that disappeared into the ocean. The next moment, a black 'fish' marked 'Yin' surfaced from the ocean and entered the same space between Mengwu's eyebrows. The black light exuded from her as her body began to shrink at a visible rate. At the end, there was a beautiful silver-bodied Koi fish with red and white spots.

"Mengwu!" Lingbao gasped as he momentarily took the baby out of the hammock to wrap around the fish and nearby water. Placing the baby back inside next to it, he noticed that the fish seemed to remain intelligent and made no attempt to escape, letting him breathe in relief.

Once back, he placed the fish inside a fish tank he borrowed from a neighbor. After all, the events, he was able to sigh in relief.

Putting his hands inside the tank and stroking the fish, the fish seemed to affectionately rub against his hand. He smiled at this familiar feeling.

"Wu'er, fish or not, you're my catch. I'll never let you get away."

Just like that, there was a scene of a man speaking lovingly to a fish as he cradled a baby in his arms. Looking between the two, he smiled at a thought.

"We argued so much about it but it appears that I'll be the one to name him. But let's not go over the top." He shivered at the thought of Mengwu's anger. "I'll name you like your mother. You'll be..." He observed the child's golden hair and eyes like his mother.

"Mengbao. Li Mengbao."
