Chapter 9. religion

First time in my life, first time ever I get to choose what I believe in! I get to make the choice by myself.

My whole family is Christian. All my relatives are Christians as well, so my whole family bloodline has always been this way. We celebrate Christmas and Easter and other traditional Christian holidays. I do know the meaning behind our holidays, but it just didn’t feel right. I didn’t know why, but it just didn’t feel right. I was confused about it. I wasn’t really sure what was wrong. Or was there anything wrong?

I have friends all over the world with different religions and cultures. I have always been interested in different languages, cultures and religions. I always ask my friends about their traditions and holidays. I also educate myself with reading news and books. Then I met my boyfriend. I fell in love with a Muslim boy.
