Chapter 10

Alex's POV

Entering the principal's office, I recognized the lady, " oh my God, Sister Teresa," she looked up from her desk and was as shooked as me.

"My child, you are here for the workshop?" She asked standing up and coming towards me.

"Yes sister, it's such a pleasure to see you again" she hugs me and I hugged her back while Regan was looking at me with a confused look. I back away from Sister and looked towards Regan, " Regan, this is Sister Teresa, she was the principal of my school" I explained him and he bowed to her.

"Oh my, this handsome young man, I suppose is your boyfriend sweetheart?" Sister asked while gesturing Regan to raise his head.

"No Sister, he is an acquaintance" I explained, while Regan gave sister a smile which looked somewhat sad and sister just showed her genuine smile.

"Anyways dear, come I will take you to the auditorium for the workshop" she gestured us to move, Regan walked ahead while sister stopped me, I gave her a confused look an she said, "Sweetie that man is a keeper, I advise you to not lose him" and she walked away while here I was confused as heck.

Shaking my head, I as well started following them. Sister announced the event to the students while Regan kept looking at the Nursery side which was clearly visible from the left window.

I tapped his shoulder, " Do you wanna go to them?" He seemed hesitant but nodded slowly. I asked a staff to take him there since he might get bored here and I also asked them to keep an eye on him since it's not that good to leave him. Luckily the staff member was a psychology teacher so he would be able to witness any bizzare behavior just in case.

Regan left and I then started the workshop after connecting my laptop, Sister Teresa as well had some work so she left and the workshop commenced.

"So, my dear students, my name is Alex Mathews and I am going to take your psychology workshop" I introduced myself, "before we start I wish to know how many of you are Psychology students" and almost one quarter students raised their hands.

"I am for sure impressed" I said smiling to them, " for those of you who haven't, let me tell you, when I was in school, for me psychology class was like a stress buster class, because all you study is related to your own life, your own surrounding and that is easy to understand" I explained my experience, " how about we met one of the most important psychologist, his name is Sigmund Freud and I am telling you, he is one interesting man"

And so the workshop ended with many students being interested, and they kind of gathered around me to ask questions too. After everything done I decided to go meet Regan, but I was stopped by this sweet boy.

"What is it sweetie?" I asked him and his face turned pink, 'ah introvert shy type I see' I thought smiling to myself.

"My name is Andrew, Andrew Miller miss" he said still not looking in my eyes.

"You can call me Alex, I am not a teacher hmm" I told him as he looked up towards me finally.

"Umm Alex, I am not able to understand something can you please help me?" He asked innocently.

"Why not sweetie, come let's sit there" I said and his face got even red, 'he is so cute my god' I thought, while we sat on the sofa in the hall.

After explaining to him the whole Karen Horney theory he left for his class saying thanks and we exchanged numbers for future reference.

I finally went to the nursery area and there was Regan playing with little kids. A smile took form at my face unknowningly, "he has been pretty normal miss" the staff said, I thank him for his help and he left.

Since there was only 30 minutes more in kids leaving the school so I decided to let Regan play more. I saw how he smiled and I don't know why I clicked a picture of him. 'I think I need therapy too, yah what are you saying Alex Mathews' I scolded myself and left to wander off in the campus.

It was almost after 25 minutes I realized I was at some strange part because I couldn't see anyone. I decided to find my way back.since I felt kind of creepy here as if someone was watching me and guess what, I was right, before I could react to it that person attacked me, I tried to defend my but he had a knife and it grazed through my right forearm, he was about to attack again but somebody launched at him. It was Andrew and also some more students. His friends tried to get the man but he escaped. Andrew helped me get up and picked me up, the last thing I remember was Andrew's worried face before it all blacked out.

**Timeskip**

I felt someone holding my hand and slowly I opened my eyes to see Regan holding my hand, his eyes were puffy. I slowly smiled at him and tried to sit up.

He helped me as I saw the door open and Andrew entered with some food in his hand.

Regan and Andrew were looking at each other, " oh Regan, he is Andrew, he is the one who-" before I could finish they were both hugging each other.

"Regan!" Andrew exclaimed and I looked at them in confusion.

"You both know each other?" I said them. Regan turned to me, took the food from Andrew's hand and sat next to me again.

" That all afterwards Alex, you need to eat first" with that said he started opening the food. I glanced at Andrew who sat to the other side of bed next to me.

"Sister said she was sorry about this and unfortunately she got some emergency so she can't attend you" Andrew said to me.

"It's okay, it isn't her fault" I smiled at him and again his face was a tomato.

Regan cleared his throat and glared at Andrew, while he gave him a confused look.

"Alex, this is Andrew, the one I told you about, the youngest among us" Regan said to me.

"Ahh now I remember, the kid of your family" I said to Regan smiling.

" Yeah yeah kid stuff again" Andrew glared at Regan this time.

"What?" Regan said nonchalantly.

"Dude you just ruined my chance to ask her out!" Andrew shouted and now I was the one who was red while Regan laughed with a victorious smile.

After about an hour we left the school premises and this time Regan drove because he thinks I am hurt badly.

' he is acting like that again, he told me not to leave his sight or I might get hurt again,' I thought and sighed ' for a second he behaves normally but again his mild delusion scares me, or is it me who is unable to catch something, moreover that attack, who was it, why would he want to hurt me'

With all the confusions in my mind I decided to go with the medicine for Regan. I already asked Doctor Lee to buy it, now I need to give him this without his notice.

' I hope my perception is wrong, this sweet guy next to me doesn't deserve this life '
