Chapter 3

Halle's POV

I got home and threw myself on the couch and kicked off my shoes , I took the remote from the coffee table and changed channels till I got what I wanted , after 20min I decided to go and get Ice cream from the fridge but found that there was non , I called my mom.

[Phone call]

*Mom there's no Ice cream* I whined over the phone

*Dear there's some money in the flower pot , in the dining room take the money and go buy Ice cream and other snacks you like that are not in the house and don't take too long , it's getting dark outside* Mom said over the phone

*Alright mom , I'll also order pizza coz I don't feel like cooking* I said whining

* Alright dear , eat whatever you want , your dad and I are going to come back late so don't wait up for , Good night , love you* mom said

*Okay mom thank you* I squealed and jumped in joy

[End Of Phone Call]

I took my jacket and the money mom told me about and went to the nearest supermarket and when I got there I went to the Ice cream aisle and I saw Haley in the ice cream parlour.

"Haley , you here alone " I asked smiling

"No my dad's outside in the car , I'm just craving some ice cream and other snacks so I came to get that" Haley said

"Great me too " I said and took a peppermint Ice cream

"Wow , I also like that flavour"Haley said

"It's damn good right " I winked and Haley winked back , we then smiled at one another

We made our way to the chips aisle and picked similar snacks except for biscuits , Haley picked caramel Marie biscuits and I took Choc mint tennis biscuits , we made our way to the cash till and tgen we paid for our snacks , we said our "see you tomorrow at 1pm good byes" , then I walked home and Haley got in her car.

I was so excited about the following day becoz I realised that Haley liked most of the same things I liked , which was great for me. I picked out tomorrow's outfit which was a black mini tennis skirt and a white crop top with black and white slides, I then took a bath and called Alex and talked to him for 2hours and we said their "good nights" and went to sleep.

Haley POV

Dad drove back home and when we got we went into the house with a plastic having all the snacks I wanted , I decided to watch a movie on Tv that I found playing on tv and it seemed like a nice movie but I was still getting a grip of what's happening, I didn't even bother to check the info to get the briefing.

2hrs later I went to my room and took a shower then I laid out an outfit I'm going to wear tomorrow , I took out a white mini tennis skirt and a white tank top , with white Sandles , I then went to bed.

Next morning

I woke up and brushed my teeth then Iwent downstairs for breakfast and during the morning conversation I told my parents that I'm going on a girl's outing with my newly made school friends and they agreed , at 12pm I got ready and Ana came to pick me up , since I don't have a car and I don't know my way around this new city.

"Bye mom , bye dad" I shouted and grabbed my sling bag , phone and house keys.

"Bye honey have fun, bye Munchkin " mom and dad replied

I went towards Ana's car and got into the passenger's seat and we pulled out into the drive way and we drove to Fun Company (Arcade zone) .

Ana and I arrived at the Fun Company with everyone already there, we went to the reception and bought wrist tickets and tons of tokens for Arcade machines , after we were done putting the wrist ticket we went inside and we played car racing game and Halle won.

"Yeyyyyyy!!!!! I won" Halle said doing her victory dance

"Ohh shut up and let's play another game" Shaquille said rolling her eyes

"I smell jealousy"Halle said sniffing Shaquille

"I'll beat you in the following game" Shaquille said

"We'll see about that" I said instead of Halle

"Uuh girl , you've been outta the house , how would you know how to play these typa games" Shaquille said

"Ohh darling , I only said I was always in the house , not that I was always tied up to a chair not being able to play" I smirked

"Okay enough let's play"Ana said

We played the 'follow my moves game' , Ana failed on the first go and everyone laughed including the workers inside, she huffed and sat down and then follow by Shaqiri , Morisa and Halle they failed too but it was better that Ana's try , it was now Shaquille's turn , she failed when she was supposed to do the last move, and I smirked , Shaquille huffed and sat down along with the others , I played and did the moves effortlessly and won the game and everyone's jaw dropped, then they started cheering for me and calling out my name , I was pretending as if there was a huge crowd and I was bowing down but Shaquille didn't seem very happy she fold her arms and huffed again.

"Wow , girl how did you do that so effortlessly" Morisa said surprised

"I'm just good at following moves and Dancin so it was no big deal" I said like it was nothing

A male worker came to us he looked at me and Halle

"Y'all look alot alike , are you sister's" the man asked with curiosity laced in his voice

"Uhh we get that alot but no we are not sisters we are just friends" Halle said

"Yeah" I said in agreement

"Ain't one of you the one who was stolen at birth" the man asked remembering there was a girl stolen in hospital after birth

"Umm.... I don't know anything about that do you ?" Halle said asking me

"Nop I know nothing" I said with a slight frown

"Ohh guys maybe...... Never mind" Ana said but kept quiet

"What is it Ana speak up" Halle said

"No nothing , it's prolly something stupid" Ana said

"Okay" we said in unison

We continued playing the game and forgot about the encounter we had with that man , we played all the games and when we were done we went to Starbucks and orders our drinks and cake , Halle and I ordered chocolate cake and the rest of them ordered different variants of cake. We ate then we went home but this time Halle drove me home coz she's the one who stays a street away from my house.

"Bye girl see you on Monday" Halle said

"Chat to you later" I said after nodding to what Halle said

"Sure" Halle said

I went inside and Halle pulled out into the drive way and went home.

"Bye girl see you on Monday" Halle said

"Chat to you later" I said after nodding to what Halle said

"Sure" Halle said

I went inside.
