Chapter 5: Where...When I belong

After Yassin and the others left Amy because she was pregnant, Sarah gave Amy the keys of her lake house, it was isolated from everyone, Amy lived in it alone and Sarah would bring her supplies every month, until Amy gave birth to her baby, Sarah delivered the baby and she asked Amy: “What will you name him?” Then Amy said: “Yassin would want to name him…Tomas, Tomas Lonius.” Then Sarah said: “Sounds great!” Then Amy said: “Help me pack my stuff to go to the Riven factory.” Then Sarah said: “Now?! You have to wait, you just gave birth!” Then Amy said: “Mum… I mean…Sarah; I’ve been waiting for this for 9 months.” Then Sarah laughed and said: “Call me mom…cause I am your mom, and let’s get you and Tom ready.” Sarah and Amy left the lake house and they rode the car and Sarah drove her in front of the Riven factory. Sarah said: “Amy, we have to be careful, they had increased the security since your friends attacked the factory last time.” Then Amy said: “What do you mean by we?” Then Sarah said: “I’m coming with you; I’ll just deliver you to the time machine.” Then Amy said: “I can’t let you put your life on the risk for me!” Then Sarah said: “You. Are. My. Daughter. I will do anything to save you and to keep you safe.” Then tears started coming out of Amy’s eyes and she hugged Sarah. Sarah used guns with bullets that made the person getting shot by it to pass out and it didn’t kill them, Sarah shot the security guards at the door and they ran inside, and Amy was carrying Tom. When they walked in, they were surrounded by a lot of guards, then Sarah risked something so big, she used her powers, she created a force field around her and Amy and they started running to the time machine, and when they found it, Amy kept pushing buttons and she chose the year, the month but she didn’t get to choose the day because Sarah felt so tired and blood started coming out of her nose and the force field went down, Amy was going to pull Sarah with her in the portal of the time machine but Sarah pushed her because Amy could barely pull her because she was carrying Tom at the same time. While Amy was falling in the portal, she saw the guards surrounding Sarah and tying her hands, Amy was so sad for her mother but she knew something that she didn’t know her whole life, she knew that she was reason she didn’t life without a mother, because Amy was told that her mother died to a car accident when Amy was 9 months, but Amy realized that Sarah was helping her and she got caught because of her and the baby Amy in 2003 will live without a mother for the rest of her life because of her, she did that to herself. Amy found herself in the middle of a destroyed town, all the building were on the ground and they fell, and there was fire all over the streets, it was like the end of the world, Amy looked at her hands to see Tom, but she didn’t find him inside the blanket, she looked around her and she saw a boy, a naked boy, boy that looked like he was 10, then Amy told him: “Hey, are you lost? What happened to this place? Why are you…why are you naked?” The boy didn’t say anything and he looked like he couldn’t even talk, and only then, Amy realized that that boy was Tom, she remembered what Ellen said, she said that the time machine would kill the baby because it was still small and didn’t fully shaped, Tom was only one day old when he went through the time machine, Amy knew that that was the reason of Tom turning to a 10 year old boy, the time machine aged him. Amy ran so fast to Tom after she realized that, she pulled some of her clothes out of her bag and she used her scissors to cut it so that it could fit Tom, and she put on Tom, then she pulled Tom up and he fell, because he didn’t know how to walk, but then Amy tried to learn him how to walk and Tom understood what Amy was trying to do so quickly and he started walking so fast, Amy thought that the tie machine affected his brain and it made him understand things so fast. Amy held Tom’s hands and they started investigating to know what happened to Earth. After hours of searching, Amy found a newspaper on the ground, she looked at it and she saw that it was about the end of the world, she read what was on the newspaper and she said what was written out loud, she said: “The world started melting by green acid, the world is ending, it started in a small nuclear factory in the middle of a dessert and it’s growing more and more and it’s going to melt the whole planet.” Then Amy looked at the date of the newspaper but she could only see the month and the year, the day was burnt and there were ashes on it and Amy couldn’t see the day of the end of the world, but the month was April, then Amy said: “There are 10 days left for April to end.” Amy wished to find the time machine, she had a theory, she had hope about the time machine being at the factory, she used a map in her bag to find where she was and she found out that she was still at Riven Hills, luckily. Amy and Tom walked to where the factory was supposed to be and she saw that the factory was destroyed, so she started digging with her bare hands and she found a metal piece, she saw buttons from the time machine! She tried to dig more and she was able to push buttons on the time machine, she chose the date which was 20/April/ 2024. The time machine started glowing; Ay was so pleased that it was still working even after 21 years. Amy pulled Tom so fast in front of the time machine and they were teleported to Riven hills and everything was good, nothing was destroyed and it looked normal, Amy and Tom started walking between the people in the streets and then she heard the time machine sound, she ran so fast with Tom to where the sound her and she saw her friends, her friends had just travelled back from 2003, they didn’t feel the 9 months that Amy felt while she was pregnant, she ran to Yassin, he was still unconscious, but she woke him up and she hugged him so hard.
