Not a Real Goodbye

It's not uncommon for Luis Company employees if the President Director or as he's often called Leo leaves his dating status with a woman in just a short time. So, they felt normal to see the boss being professional with Azrell even though they knew something was wrong with one of their hearts.

Now, here comes Azrell and Leo. Sitting next to each other, at the behest of a woman demands an explanation from a man.

"So, what do you want to ask me? Isn't it obvious that we broke up because you ended it?"

Leo is a little confused by the way women think. Even though he had accepted willingly and tried not to return, Azrell instead expected him to maintain this broken relationship.

"I just wanted to ask, why did you let me go so easily, Leo?" asked Azrell who now focused all her attention on Leo who was now also looking at her with a confused look. OK, maybe this is a mistake. But, just imagine how the feeling of tightness is present when the lover does not provide continuous news?

Again and again, Azrell brought up things that shouldn't need to be discussed.

"Don't you already know the answer? If someone wants to leave my life, go ahead. It's everyone's decision, and so are you. Don't be confused by your choice. After all, you liked me at first just for money."

"Yeah okay maybe that was my original goal, Leo. But believe me, not, for now, I love you so much."

"Just take my money, if you need my ATM that you always ask for when we date. As long as you don't ask me to come back to fix something that's broken,"

Leo felt no interest in being with Azrell anymore. He was quite silent with the behavior of women who were too demanding news from him. Hey, he's the President Director of a famous company of his own. There is certainly very little time to play on the cellphone, even if there is time, it will be lazy to read Azrell's message which he thinks is very childish.

Not understanding his activities and Leo who felt his body was tired, the woman sulked.

"I don't need your money, Leo. All I need is you, I'm serious."

Already feeling lost, Azrell just felt how different it was when they were together and when they were doing their respective activities.

What wins is selfishness, knowing the smallest gaps in life, and leading the human mind astray because of it.

"If what you need is me, you better fix yourself first. What is your attitude towards me, have you never felt it? All this time you were just complaining, and I always swallowed your complaints saying you have a relationship with me that raises your name and status in the eyes of many people, but it is better to have a relationship with a man of ordinary status but who can love and give full attention to lover. Is that what you said before? I work for myself, if I had someone I love, would share the earnings from that hard work. But you dumped me yourself, so I won't be proud to accept your helping hand again."

Finally, Leo was able to let out all the feelings that were bugging in his heart. All the sentences he spoke in just one breath, without the slightest hint of anger on his face. For him, solving problems with a cool head and not getting carried away by emotions is always the right choice to do.

Azrell was silent when she heard the first long sentence Leo had said to her. She had heard the man speak at length but was helped by a speech script to welcome a big colleague at the company. The rest, Leo will never talk at length even though he is a friendly man regardless of caste.

"Euhm, then what about my fate? Are we always going to be professional to cover all this from a lot of people?"

"Of course,"

"Don't change, Leo. I still love you, why after all this you don't understand that what I need is you?"

"Sometimes, women demand too much to be understood without realizing that men also need the same attention."

There are so many pearls of wisdom that Leo wants to convey to Azrell for now.

Azrell was at a loss for words. It's true, never break your heart if you don't want to feel the 'broken' feeling that is many times over. "Then can we go on the weekend? I guess this is the last one, how about it?" she asked. She said this so that she could plant a moment to remember if she had ever been in a relationship with Leonardo Luis even though she was only in a relationship for less than three months.

Hearing Azrell's pleading tone, of course, did not make Leo hesitate to fulfill the small request. "Sorry, I already have an appointment with someone. And it can't just be canceled, Azrell," he said giving Azrell a faint smile. He didn't want to hurt this woman more but went back to the original 'if you liked someone, you wouldn't dump her/him' problem.

Azrell raised her eyebrows, she looked at Leo as if she couldn't believe the man's words. "Who? Women?" she asked, squinting, suspicious that Leo had completely replaced her with someone new. So quickly move on a man, even she still loves without reciprocation.

"If it's a man, then after breaking up with you I'm gay, right? Of course not, I'll still be dating another woman on the weekends."

Leo shuddered at his own words. He could not and never would have imagined that people loved each other, even to the point of being bound by a romance. Sorry, but people have different views. He still has lust with women and has always been like that.

"How could you turn your back on me so quickly?" As she said earlier, Azrell would make comparisons with the new woman who had managed to stop in Leo's life.

"Of course it's easy, a lot of people want me. Who told you to throw me out? That's your problem."

To be honest, this time it wasn't the woman who was chasing Leo but the opposite. For the first time after deciding to play with multiple women, he finally wanted to fight for something new.

"Who is that woman? I want to meet her and judge how good she is to you."

Leo felt like laughing out loud at Azrell's words, sounding like an ex who doesn't want his ex-girlfriend to have someone new in such a short amount of time. "What does that have to do with you, Azrell? It's pretty obvious she's better than you, I'll admit," he explained.

"What looks good isn't necessarily the best, sir."

Leo nodded his head, he believed in the words Azrell had just said to him. "She's not the best, but knows how to try to be the best for me. Looks like we're done talking, Azrell. I still have a lot of work to do, and I'm sure you too." he said as he got up from his seat, now he is standing straight with his eyes down because Azrell is still faithfully sitting on the sofa in his workspace.

"But it's not fair to me, Leo."

"Why isn't it fair?"

"The queen should be paired with the king. Is that woman like a concubine who took my place in your life?"

"Even if she is a concubine according to your mind, it doesn't matter. Since a concubine is the best substitute for the queen,"

"But--"

"Isn't it obvious what I said about my work piling up soon?"

Hearing Leo's words that he didn't want to discuss anything on the topic that happened to the two of them, Azrell knew enough about it and moved and stood with the man. "Well, thank you for your not-so-useful time, sir. I'm still waiting for your return," she said in a low tone. Giving a faint smile, nothing could describe her current expression except a look of sadness.

"Yeah, if I lose the map, I'm reluctant to go back because something more interesting is getting me lost."

Leo really can never accept someone who has been in his life to get back together, it just means repeating the incident for the umpteenth time right? just a waste of time.

"One more thing, sir," Azrell said in a low voice.

Raising an eyebrow because he didn't understand the words, Leo looked at Azrell. "You mean--"

Bruk

"I love you,"

Suddenly the tiny body stabbed Leo into the sofa with Azrell on top of him. The woman's hands were already wrapped around his neck tightly as if giving the impression that this was not the best farewell of his life.

"Why do meetings always end in farewell?"

Leos don't retaliate, maintaining their position of looking very vulgar if others misunderstand and don't know what their problem is.

Azrell immediately hid her sweet face that already saw tears falling from her eyelids, tightened her arms around the finished body that has always been the dream of all women out there. Today is a very painful farewell because it is still one way with an ex-lover.

A secretary's love for the President Director doesn't always end well.

"It's not fate that's wrong, but time. If only you could appreciate the busyness of others and instill maturity, maybe separation wouldn't happen. Destiny is God's plan. It could mean that God is good, so I know that those who go must not be for the best."

Azrell's eyes filled with tears when she heard Leo's words, which slapped her. She raised her head, then looked at the handsome face from below. "Let me still love you, Leo," she whispered with puppy eyes that looked very sad.

Taking a deep breath, the question is, who wants to get in the way of other people liking Leo?

Falling in love is a natural thing. What's unfair is that we can't determine the right stopover for the berth.

"Of course you can, Azrell. But don't ever come into my life again to destroy my relationship with someone new or anything," he answered with a smile that seemed a little sincere.

After all, he was still a real man who was touched when he saw a woman crying in his arms.

As for Azrell? the woman again hid her face in Leo's chest, until slowly a lopsided smile began to appear on her face.

'I don't promise, dear.' Azrell said in her heart.
