Noticing an unexpected enemy, two goblins who were looking in his direction began to yell something, jumped up from their seats and began to pick up weapons. Their comrade, not really understanding what the matter was, also wanted to pick up a weapon similar to a crudely made stone ax, but did not have time - a large knife stuck into his neck.

Elim overcame the twenty meters separating him from the goblins in a couple of seconds and with one aimed blow to the throat killed the first enemy. His comrades were very frightened at the sight of such a scene, after all, they were ordinary goblins without any abilities and without clear leadership, they could not fight effectively and easily succumbed to fear and panic, especially when there were few of them. The goblin with a small dagger in his hands was the first to leave the fright, after which he rushed at the enemy, shouting something to his comrade, apparently urging him to do the same.

The last goblin only had time to see how his friend rushed at the enemy, and then he killed him with two blows: the first cut off his hand, and the second pierced his skull. Seeing the death of his friends, the last goblin finally put the thought of battle out of his mind and ran further into the tunnel. True, his escape did not last long - a small dagger was stuck in his back, with which, until recently, his friend rushed to the enemy.

In less than a minute, Elim killed three opponents. For him, this was not difficult, he did not hesitate for a second when he killed this trinity. Now in his gaze it was again possible to catch the shadow of a monster that destroyed dozens of worlds and fought with the highest ranks of the angelic army on equal terms.

After the end of the battle, Elim felt a small wave go through his body, and then he could feel the flows of mana in his body, they were weak, barely perceptible, but they were.

A smile appeared on his face as he felt the mana in his body, he became "Reborn" and now he can begin to build up his strength. Accustomed to the sensations, Elim mentally pronounced "status" in his head and immediately a window of his status appeared in front of him:

[Level: 1]

[Strength - 12]

[Dexterity - 14]

[Stamina - 15]

[Magic - 8]

[Active skills: none]

[Passive skills: none]

[Features:

Cruel soul]

I didn't understand, this hadn't happened before, "Elim muttered under his breath, looking at his only feature, mentally giving an order, he began to look at the description of an unknown feature.

[Cruel Soul]

[Description: Your soul is unusually strong, having gone through thousands of battles, it has hardened and became comparable to the souls of higher beings. The effectiveness of your spiritual attacks increases, and the effectiveness of your opponents decreases]

"Cruel soul ... if you believe the description, in the future this skill will be very useful to me" - these were the thoughts Elim had after reading the information about his peculiarity. Some people had congenital features, and they had an advantage over the ordinary "Reborn", many of them became the new elite of humanity. The guy himself did not have an innate feature, but because of his character he was also one of the representatives of this elite, but all this was before.

Now, having manna in his body, the guy tried to use it, but nothing worked, after trying again the result did not change. After a few more attempts, he stopped, apparently he will have to re-learn how to cast spells, and this is how to re-learn to walk after an injury. The place for training was not very suitable, so Elim decided to continue when he got out of the dungeon.

Elim looked further into the tunnel, apparently, the three killed by him were some kind of a warning checkpoint, and then the main camp of the goblins was located. Considering that no one came running to their cries, the camp is still quite far away. The ecosystem in the dungeon was extremely unusual, sometimes monsters could divide into tribes and fight each other, or different types of monsters fought for dominance over a level, sometimes even over several. Therefore, it is not surprising that the goblins made such a warning command, although the level of its effectiveness was extremely low. If, for example, other goblins tried to pass through this tunnel, then these three would be able to fulfill their duties, unfortunately, Elim sneaked up on them, who was much quieter than the noisy goblins.

Not finding anything useful for himself, Elim wiped the blood from his knife on his sleeve and went deep into the branch, as he moved, the roots of a tree began to appear from the walls, the further he went, the larger they became. The tunnel was not straight, he had already gone through several turns, some of which were the same groups of goblins, no more than 5 individuals, like the one he destroyed. All these groups were ruthlessly destroyed by Elim in a matter of minutes, none of them could pass on the news of the attack.

Now he was walking along the tunnel, and next to the wall, under the roots there was grass, apparently this tunnel led to the "living" zone, now it became clear to him why the goblins had set up so many observation posts. Sometimes in the dungeons there were "living" zones: plants grew here, which meant the possibility

food, and in the dungeon food supplies were extremely limited and monsters often ate each other for lack of alternatives. When there was a section of a dungeon with vegetation, monsters with a minimum level of intelligence tried to get it at any cost. And since now he was walking exactly on such a site, it means that soon he will be able to meet someone stronger than ordinary goblins - hobgoblins or goblin shamans who can use mana, which is very problematic for Elim, who has not yet learned to use it again in his body.

He was a little sad, after all, before even the highest angels were afraid to fight him 1 on 1, but now he was afraid of some goblins! The guy's mood soured, but he did not lose concentration for a second while moving through the dungeon, he had already gone far enough and the map in his head became quite impressive.

"Soon I have to return, I am alone and without abilities, if I die like this, after I was given a second chance it will be an idiocy of universal proportions" - the guy thought to himself and promised himself that he would check one more turn and go back. I didn't want to leave without finding anything of value, but what to do - life is dearer than any treasure.

Approaching the next turn, Elim found a small area on which the goblins' post was located. Unlike the previous ones, this one had a dozen goblins, these were not such ragamuffins as the previous ones and were more or less equipped with armor and caught notes of discipline in their behavior. Among them, one, especially a large goblin, stood out, he was wearing quite good leather armor by goblin standards, and behind him was a large wooden shield.

"Apparently the commander, and I was about to leave," Elim thought to himself, looking at this mini-outpost. There was a fork in the tunnel - one of them was the same as the one from which Elim came out, in it you could see vegetation, apparently this tunnel led to the goblin village. The second tunnel was without any traces of vegetation and all the goblins were looking in its direction, apparently, from there other goblins or something worse were attacking them. They did not pay much attention to the tunnel that Elim was now in, in fact, he was looking at their backs, which only fueled his desire to attack them. Watching them for a couple of minutes, he counted 9 goblins settled in small groups of 2-3 along the makeshift "fortifications", consisting of various rubbish.

For a couple of minutes Elim weighed all the pros and cons: he was not sure that he could cope with them all in his current state, but he was sure that he could escape from them, moreover, he never received anything for his entire campaign , and considering what chaos has now begun outside, hell knows when he can come to the dungeon again.

"Well, it's decided, you guys are out of luck, today you will meet a man," Elim thought to himself, looking at his new goal.
