Chapter 31 "Jordan's fiancee "

"Grandpa , Grandma! I missed the two of you" she ran and kissed thier cheeks before the three of them settled down at the beautiful garden. "Lara, when did you arrive? Jordan didn't tell us anything about your arrival!" said Grandpa George to her, she got up and went to stand behind Jordan's Grandma , wrapping her hands around her neck with a wide smile , "Well..... even Jordan doesn't know that I'm here, I've decided to surprise all of you, I haven't even gone home yet and thought of dropping by ti see the two of you first " , Mrs . George pulled her palm from her neck and kissed it smiling from eye to eye, "Oh how generous of you my dear, unlike our busy grandson " she frowned after mentioning Jordan. Lara came to face her "Is he still busy at you ?" she said looking into the old woman's eyes before looking at the old man, "Yes, that scoundrel is too obsessed with his company only" he said and let out a sigh before continuing "Why are you here by the way, I mean who is looking after your business at the US" . Mrs. George supported his husband with what he asked her, even she was curious of her surprising arrival, she got up and walked ahead before turning back to them smiling out her dimples "I've came to protect what is mine, it is mine and shouldn't attempt even to touch it" she stopped and a soft chuckle left her lips, Grandpa and Grandma George couldn't understand what she was saying, "What do you mean Lara my dear?" said Grandpa George with a curious look, she walked and pulled a chair closer to him and grabbed his hands into hers, pulling both of thier attentions. "Grandpa and Grandma, don't worry about my business at the US , it is left under trusted man to run it, and ..... the reason why I'm here is that I'm tired of the environment over there, so... I thought of coming back home for couple years" she paused looking at them with her sweet eyes and smile, "But what will you be doing here? you'll get bored from doing nothing for a person like you who is used to work " said Mrs. George and his husband supported her this time, "Your grandma is right on that note" , Lara chuckled pressing the old man's palms, "That is why I need both of your help in this, I need you to ask Jordan to give me a suitable sport to keep myself busy for the time being, but also I'll be able to see him every day " she lowered her eyes shying after her last sentence. The two elders got her point very well and just laughed out loud at this cute girl's request. "Oh so you want to be closer to him? I can't blame you for it, you must have missed him a lot dear" said Grandma, "Count it done my dear, I'll talk to him, I've got an idea.... how about you go over to his office now and call me once you get to him so i could talk to him" said Grandpa George with a broad smile, Lara wasn't prepared for this but she couldn't deny it also, the opportunity that came her way she wanted to grab it, "Okay! I should get going " she said with an excitement making the elders chuckle for they can see how much she wanted to meet with him.She said her goodbyes and raced to JJB'CORPORATION with her Ferrari....♡

Tessa was sitting at the cafeteria eating with her fellow workers, before they could eat thay were halted by a deep voice that each of them recognises very well "May I join you?" they were shocked to see thier boss walking to thier table, Tom stood up faster "Of course you can always join us sir!" he said standing to offer his seat to him but Jordan declined it and pulled a chair from other empty tables and went to seat besides Tessa where there was an space, she was holding in a laughter this whole time, she challenged him to have a dinner with his employees and she would give him anything he wants he was in his office contemplating before deciding to show up and defeat Tessa who probably thought he couldn't. Jordan leaned closer to her ear as if he was turning somewhere and whispered to her "Defeated! now wait to serve your King dear Queen " he sat up straight before anyone suspect him with her, she coughed and Jordan was quick to offer her glass of water and pat her back, everyone couldn't believe the strange behaviour of thier boss today. "Is my presence so tensing as such that you are going to choke yourself? careful Miss Michael I won't eat you" he said with a soft voice, "I won't eat any if you, so lets just enjoy our lunch together " be said picking up a fork and everyone turned to thier plates. Tessa bitten her lips, this was supposed to be a challenge but it is turning out into a teasing game, he always find an opportunity to tease her around.....♡

After a couple of minutes Lara arrived at theatre the building and was on her way to Jordan's office but she furrowed to find it empty, she came to the reception desk but it was also empty, she didn't pay heed to it when she first entered the office, two lines formed in between her eyebrows, "Where is he?" she make her way down when she ran onto Pharell, "Pharrell! Oh thank god I found you, hownhave you been?" she ran to him and gave him a quick hug, Pharell was dumbfounded and speechless, he just stared at her, "Oh come on! have you seen a ghost?" she shook his shoulders "Lara what are you doing here?" he said with a cold tone, the smile on her face fell "What do you mean? I came to protect what is mine, and come to think of it...." she paused and took out her phone and showed him a picture "Who is this bitch? no! no! where is he ?" , Pharrell's face hardened, he was very bothered by her presence and felt disgusted for the reasons only God knows. "I said .... where is Jordan! Pharell?" she was more serious this time, he closed his eyes and exhaled "I just hope..... you won't be shameless enough to ruin his life again..... follow me!" he said and turn to leave .....♡
