The Stone Dragon.

When Adrian and his knights made it out of the ruins of Izalith they were in a static mood. They felt like god slayers, but the battle maniac part of them was disappointed. They had killed another Lord, but the lords had all but consumed their powerful souls leaving no more than embers of the original.

He knew these battle maniacs might get their wish one day when he finally was out. The days where they could become true god slayers would come someday. What was better to gain favor with Khorne than offering a god's skull.

Weak or not the divinity of gods was always on the menu for the ruinous powers and he had already marked the Greek pantheon on his 'fair game' to offer to Khrone or to consume himself.

'Ok, one step at a time. I should be about done with most things in this world and now all that remains is Gwyn, and closing up a few loose ends.'

Once they returned to the realm of Quellag who they saw looking at the body of her brother. She was a crying mess and when she saw them return her face twisted in both gratitude and pain.

She did not know if she should be thankful or angry at them, but she had been the one to ask them to do it. As such, she took a deep breath and forced all the hatred toward herself. She walked toward Adrian and when she stood in front of him she bowed.

"Thank you, captain. My brother and mother no longer suffer thanks to you and your men. I just wish I could lay either of them to rest myself. If only I was not so weak."

Adrian removed his helmet and looked at her with an apologetic look.

"I am sorry for your loss. You probably do not wish to see the killers of your family so we will leave you alone now."

As Adrian began to walk away she took his hand for him to wait. He turned to look at her as she wiped her tears and shook her head.

"No captain, I should be thanking you. You cured my sister for me and did what I could not. That is more than enough. It is I who owe you and your men instead."

Adrian thought of something and offered it to her.

"How about you come with us? Staying in this place will just remind you of the pain. We are making Anor Londo our current base and it will be better than here."

August agreed with Adrian as being around such a place was not a good idea.

"He is right, you might be able to take human form again by learning soul control. It let's use shrink down after all."

She looked at her brother's corpse and decided to agree. She only stayed there to find humanity for her sister who no longer needed it. She was just making her suffering worse so she decided to agree.

"I see the truth in your words captain. I will take you up on your offer. My sister also wishes to thank her savior personally. Can you speak to her before we go?"

Adrian saw no issue with it as he could close off loose ends.

"Of course. You guys are free to relax. You did a mighty fine job, you guys."

All of them shook their heads as they were barely tired. Gabriel shook his head as he patted Adrian on the shoulder a few times.

"No thanks captain, we are still fresh for war."

Adrian looked at the Fume Knights who all agreed with him. Adrian smiled as he walked with Quellag.

"Well, that is fine with me. It seems you bastards still have more energy to spare so no break time. We keep going until we drop."

Quellag noticed how close all of the knights were as they trusted each other. Not only that they were all related through their ancestor and shared family ties in some cases. August was the closest related to Adrian as they were cousins.

It was why Adrian and August were so much taller as they had purer blood than the rest. Quellag also noticed something more about it.

'It's the faith they place in their captain. As long as he is around they can keep going, keep fighting, keep killing. What does it take to inspire such loyalty in such legendary warriors.'

She led them to her sister who had finally begun to walk slightly. She could not do it for long, but it was better than before. She turned to Adrian as they had arrived.

"Please don't take this the wrong way, but can I ask that only you see her?"

None of the knights took offense in the slightest. As they did not care he entered to see the fair lady who was wearing simple clothes to hide her chest. She still looked sickly, but better. Queelag approached her sister and took her hand.

"Sister, the captain is here."

The fair lady held her hand out for Adrian.

"Please captain, take my hand. I cannot see you you see."

Adrian kneeled in front of her and held her hand.

"What did you wish to say to me?"

She smiled slightly and bowed even if it burdened her.

"I never got to thank you. I can feel it, mother no longer suffers. I hold only thanks to you brave knights."

Adrian held her hand with both of his and shook his head.

"This was our mission from the beginning. Now, we are leaving for Anor Londo. Your followers might not be able to follow us though."

Adrian turned to the bloated egg-filled followers, but the Fair Lady shook her head.

"I cannot leave them."

Quellag shook her head at her sister's foolishness. It was the reason she was sick in first place as she considered such sympathy useless. Adrian took his hands back, as he looked at Eingyi.

"So pyromancer, can you cure yourself and your followers?"

The burden pyromancer brought out a Fumigator. The strange fruit that could remove parasitic eggs from the body. However, he did not wish to use them as the eggs were a sign of his dedication.

"It is heretical and forbidden to re-"

Quellag finally snapped at him and ordered him to do so.

"Take the damn stuff already. You are more useful mobile as a fighter than like this. Now."

He looked at one of his masters and did as they ordered. He placed the weird fruit in his mouth and swallowed it. The moment he bit down on it a white mist appeared on his body causing his boils to explode in puss and bugs.

Adrian and the Fume Knights all recoiled in disgust and looked at the worms dying one by one. As for Eignyi his back was a mess and looked extremely flayed with chunks missing.

He stood up as meat and decayed flesh fell from his back.

He brought out his estus and drank from it healing himself from the damage he sustained. He bowed to Quellag and the Fair Lady.

"I have done as instructed."

Quellag covered her face as he was still nude.

"Put some clothes on."

The pyromancer nodded and began to get dressed from the clothes he used to wear before this. Once he was dressed her bowed with the dignity of a pyromancer.

"At your service once more my lady."

Adrian rolled his eyes at this.

"Ok that is good and all, but you still got all the others."

Quellag sighed as it would have been so easy to just leave them Why did her sister have to make her life so much harder with such sympathy? However, it was what made her sister who she was.

"We leave them here. When we find more Fumigators we come back for them."

The Fume Knights knew their captain could probably make more but they did not say it out loud. They were not heroes or people with hearts of gold so it was not their problem. The Fair Lady looked a bit unwilling and was about to refute it.

However, Quellag was done with her.

"No, you will do as I say. You nearly killed yourself by taking in the blight and I will not take it once more. Do not refute this and let's go."

Tears threatened to spill from her eyes, but it just made Adrian look at her with annoyance.

'Damn I can't stand martyrs."

Adrian began to leave and was followed by his knights.

"You can stay if you want. I only gave an offer so stay or come, does not matter to me."

Quellag nodded.

"We will. Help me with her Eingyi."

"Yes, my lady."

They both helped her stand but it would slow them down to wait for her. As such Harold and Garold walked on either side of her and literally picked her up easily.

"Let's move."

Quellag knew her sister was anything but light in her current state, but these guys did it easily. She moved to the front as they made it out of her realm. The trip back was without incident and when they returned to Blightown they all noticed something shocking.

Devastator was digging into the mountain as he ripped massive chunks from the mountain. Adrian nodded with the idea of his dragon as it would make this so much easier. No longer would he have to deal with this nasty place.

Quellag and Eingyi looked on with awe and fear as the mountain was torn apart. She turned to look at Adrian who was looking at the dragon with a smile

"Is he yours?"

Adrain nodded.

"Meet Devastator, one of my dragons. GOOD JOB BUDDY!"

When the dragon heard his master's voice he worked harder. He stood up on his back legs as he took a deep breath of air and blasted the hole with powerful green flames. They began to burn through the stone easily causing Blight Town to burn.

Watching the flames was incredible and the whole was finished. Devastator crawled into the hole falling toward the swamp. To him, this would not be an issue as he would just rain fire on the sludge to clear an area for him to stand.

Adrian appreciated the idea as he walked in front of him.

"You did great."

Devastator gently nudged Adrian which made him hug the dragon's face. Adrian remembered when he was a teenager and he had a pet Gila Monster named Tony.

'I love dragons.'

Quellag looked at the burning area and sighed watching it.

"Did he have to cause so much damage?"

August shrugged.

"When it comes to dragons they do as they wish."

If that was not enough they all felt the great hollow trembling as something large was forcing its way out. Adrian realized that Devastator had attracted the Stone Dragon as he smelled extremely pure.

Quellag wanted to rip out her hair.

"What now?"

August had an idea as in this world only a dragon was that big.

"A dragon most likely. Captain, did you know it was down there?"

Adrian nodded.

"I had heard a rumor about it, let's see what it is."

Suddenly the hollow had a huge chunk ripped out as a dragon hand broke through it. More and more parts of the tree were getting ripped out until the Stone Dragon flew out toward Devestatror.

Both dragons laid eyes on each other and from the look of it Devastator was bigger. The difference in size was the same as Amara to Devastator, but he was still rather large.

On his back were Artorias, Ciaran, Sif, Seraphine, and Priscilla who were holding on to his fur to not fall off. Both dragons approached the other and stood in front of each other with different reactions.

The Stone Dragon wanted to see why it smelled an Everlasting Dragon and came out here. As for Devestaator he saw another dragon for his master and was prepared to subdue the dragon for that purpose.

"Where is she?"

Adrian squinted his eyes as he was annoyed.

"Hey, what do you want with my Amara?"

The dragon looked down at Adrian and answered.

"I just wanted to ask how a soulless dragon is still alive. I am no longer a true dragon as to survive I acquire my own soul. It is why I have fur and can speak. Does she have a soul?"

"No, why?"

The Stone Dragon sighed in relief.

"Then my question has been answered. I would like to see her."

Adrian nodded.

"The question is does she care enough to see you. What is your name?"

"I go by Eeuwigdurend. Now, who are you?"

"I am Adrian, I guess I would be a dragon tamer."

All of the Fume Knights whistled looking at the dragon, but they still thought Amara was cooler. As they were talking the group on his back got off to regroup with Adrian. Eeuwigdurend looked at Devastator who was more of a dragon than he was. His soul had given him some advantages and a whole lot of negatives.

"Well do you wish to tame me?"

Adrian shook his head.

"I know dragons are sentient, however, one such as you is better off as a friend."

Eeuwigdurend lowered his head to look at Adrian.

"You consider us dragons as equals?"

Adrian nodded as he looked at Devastator.

"I do, but I don't think they view me that way."

It was true as the dragons he tamed saw him more like a master than equal. They had no bad feelings about it as it was better to be with him than not. Plus they were growing stronger as time went on because of him.

The stronger he was the stronger they were. Eeuwigdurend squinted his eyes and sighed.

"Well then, I would like to meet with this Amara."

Adrian shot him an annoyed look. She was only his and no one else's.

"Better not be trying to seduce my Amara."

Eeuwigdurend blinked a few times and shook his head at the thought.

"Not at all, I know my ancestors were infertile and were prideful. They would not serve just anyone so you must be a worthy person."

Seraphine and Priscilla walked next to Adrian as they looked at Eeuwigdurend. Seraphine nudged him gently with her elbow.

"I see what you meant by would not regret it."

Adrian smiled at Seraphine's words. He turned to the dragon and asked the question.

"So will you follow us?"

Eeuwigdurend nodded.

"I will if I decide to serve you depends on what I see."

Adrian respected that choise.

"Your choice, I am not about to enslave you."

'Even though that is exactly what we did to Amara. I better apologize to her later.'

Adrian got on Devestator's back and so did everyone else. Thankful the hole was large enough and both dragons flew out of it toward Anor Londo. Now that all the main enemies were dead Adrian knew that his time here was numbered.

He just had to kill Gwyn and it was time to leave. However, he still would wait for that as rushing was not a good thing. He wanted to see what else he could find in this world before he left it for good.
