I really didn't like the news we received in class the next day. Even though we got break coming for us, we still were going to spend it at school.
I had heard the news from Midoriya personally when we were at the mall. I had been with him when the man had approached him, but didn;t know what to do. Midoriya could have died if I acted.
It was after everyone had done the exams that we were on our way to the training camp.
I was a bit nervous to show off my strength to complete strangers and Class 1-B, but I was gonna have to get over it.
I was stretching when we got off the bus when we were close to the training camp. I went over to Aizawa-sensei who ruffled my hair and smiled.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Why are we stopped? Didn't that crazy cat lady say we weren't too far?" I asked.
"YES I DID!" I heard an energetic voice say.
I turned to see the blonde blue cat woman who pounced on me.
"Ack!" I shouted, trying to get up. She laughed and sat on me.
"You'll be taking the scenic route!" She cheered.
"Little help?" I croaked out from underneath her.
"Get off her Pixie-Bob." I heard Aizawa-sensei say. I felt hands pull me up and I gladly accepted their help. I turned to see Midoriya and sighed.
"This is gonna be fun."
~Time Skip~
Pixie-Bob had directed us to the edge of the cliff so she could explain some things. I ignored her like I ignored all the other people of the world and sighed as I heard that we would have to cook.
"What's wrong with cooking?" I turned to see Kirishima look at me.
"No offense but none of you can cook. I can, and I only have Sato." I groaned as he chuckled.
"Bakugou can cook." He said. As soon as his name left Kirishima's mouth, the ash blonde's head shot up and glared at us.
"YOU TALKING ABOUT ME BEHIND MY BACK SHITTY HAIR?!?!" He shouted.
I smiled at Kirishima and nudged him, his cheeks turning red at the touch.
"He may have some good qualities, but I can't work very well with that in the kitchen. He might burn all the food with his glare." I joked.
Kirishima smiled and nudged me back.
"You can cook? No way!" He praised.
I started to say something, but the ground started to shake.
"NOW GO!" I heard Pixie-Bob shout excitedly.
I turned to see us all falling off the cliff as the earth was destroyed. I looked to see the others all preparing themselves to his the ground. I started flying and landed beside a large cherrywood tree. I leaned against it as I watched the other pull themselves together and prepare to race through the trees. I waited and joined Midoriya.
"You know, if we can survive a fall off a cliff when we first get here, I think we'll get through the camp just fine." He nodded.
We were about to start through when we heard the smash. Earth creatures were rising out of the ground and charging for us.
"Must be Pixie-Bob's quirk!" I shouted.
Realizing they were made out of earth, I easily tore them apart as we made our way through.
"Wow. This would be a whole lot harder without you (Y/N)." Midoriya said smashing a earth monster I had missed.
I smiled, happy to help.
After a couple of hours, we arrived at the camp to a huge feast.
I happily sat in between Midoriya and Kirishima as we all dug in. We happily talked and chatted as we relaxed after our hard work. Midoriya had gotten up to greet Mandalay and Ragdoll who had shown up with the food, reminding us this was the only time they would be cooking for us.
I watched as the boy kicked Midoriya in his private.
I burst out laughing and went over to him where Iida was hovering.
"MIDORIYA!" Iida was shouting.
"I don't want to socialize with wannabe heroes like you." The boy was saying.
"Kids got spunk." I heard Bakugou say.
"So he's basically a mini you." I chimed in with Todoroki. He and I looked at each other and laughed.
"The hell you say?" Bakugou shouted.
I leaned over Midoriya who looked like the life was seeping out of him.
"You okay Mido?" I asked, pulling him up.
"Fine . . . . ." He said.
I looked at his straining muscles as he endured the pain. I smiled sadly and turned to the kid.
"What's your name?" I asked while rubbing Midoriya's back.
He didn't answer but Mandalay did.
"This is my nephew Kota." She smiled. I could tell she was slightly embarrassed with Kota's behavior.
I swifty picked him up by his shirt while he flailed and shouted, "Put me down!" I looked him in the eye.
"Jeez, you really are a little Bakugou aren't cha?" I asked studying his ferocious glare.
I heard a snort and a growl behind me. I set Kota down and returned to the class. After our long day, we got some rest.
~Time Skip~
I was moving around the outdoor kitchen while helping the others make breakfast. I studied everyone motions and actions, making sure they didn't set anything on fire again.
After we ate, we had training. It was Midoriya and I against Tiger, the only male member of the Wild Wild Pussycats.
He took Midoriya down rather quickly, but I had no right to judge because he took me down right after.
I moved off my back and back onto my feet just as fast as Midoriya, both of us thinking hard about how to take Tiger down.
Tiger gave us a few words of advice that I ignored yet again and dismissed us. That night, it was time for the test of courage. We were partnering up but those who failed the exams were stuck in extra classes.
We had to draw slots to get our partners. Class 1-B was going to hide in the forest and scare us while we went throughout the woods to collect our name tags.
I was partnered with Midoriya, who else, and we waited until it was out turn to go through.
We entered after the next group and he clung to my side. I laughed and tugged him along with me.
"It's just class B. And now that I say it out loud, Momoma's out there, nevermind, be very afraid." I heard snickers come from the bushes. I smiled, glad some of the class 1-B students didn't hate us all like Monoma did.
We were making our way through the forest like everyone else when I smelled it. It was a heavy nasty scent that made me dizzy.
I covered my mouth and held my breath. I looked at Midoriya whose head shot up. He smelled it too. We both ran, on an unspoken agreement, up the path.
I had been staring at our surroundings.
"I need to go find Kota!!" I heard Midoriya shout. I snapped my head to him.
"I'm coming with."
Midoriya and I had made it to a mountain cliffside that had apparently been a favorite spot of Kota's where we found the young boy cornered by a huge villain. Midoriya instantly sprung into action with me and together, we bashed the huge villain out of the way. He battled the man while I grabbed Kota.
"You again . . ." He whimpered looking at me.
"Kota! Are you hurt?!" I asked looking him up and down. As soon as I saw he wasn't. I placed him on my back and wrapped his arms around my neck.
"Don't move from my back." I warned over my shoulder.
I felt his small head nod against my neck. I looked at Midoriya in battle with this man and saw how little damage his punches were doing.
I quickly shot a huge pillar of earth and that man, giving Midoriya a chance to join my side.
"Thanks. His quirk, so much muscle." He muttered, analyzing him.
"Clearly fucking strong. I'll do what I can to help you." I said smiling at him.
He nodded and quickly engaged with with the man while I shot him with ice, fire and earth from all sides.
Midoriya looked in disbelief as one of his punches were just blocked with more muscles.
"Midoriya!" I shouted when the man clipped him and sent him smashing into the mountain wall.
I slammed him with a bunch of pillars but he smashed every single one.
Midoriya had quickly recovered and I noticed how one of his arms were broken. I quickly set Kota down and away from the battle.
"Stay here. Don't move." I ordered quickly.
I shot forward and punched the man with a earth first. The man wobbled for a second, but uprighted and shot a punch right back at me. I heard a loud crack and shouted in pain.
"Midoriya, now!" I shouted.
Midoriya appeared behind the muscular man and launched a punch with his broken arm.
He launched a full scale attack on the man which blew him outta the way and deep into the wall of the mountain. He was out.
I quickly ran over to him and caught him before he fell.
"Mido! You okay?" I asked facing him to me.
He set his beautiful green eyes on me and smiled.
"Oh thank god." I panted slightly.
"Are you okay?" He said looking at my bloody shirt. I nodded and helped him up, cringing at my own broken ribs. He picked Kota up who was trembling.
We both quickly traveled across the forest to the main building. We stopped when we landed in front of the class that Aizawa-sensei was in. Midoriya set Kota down when Aizawa-sensei came out.
"What happened?!" Aizawa-sensei asked ushering Kota inside. Midoriya quickly explained everything while I struggled to breath.
"You two need to get inside-" Aizawa started but I frowned.
"No. We need to get the others, your five adults are not enough to take care of forty-one students whose locations you know nothing of.
Aizawa-sensei was about to say something but Midoriya understood. A villain appeared and we braced ourselves. I looked at my teacher who braced himself.
"Fine! Do not fight! Just get everyone here!" He shouted when we took off.
Midoriya and I ran back along the path that had been set for the test of courage. Midoriya had memorized the pairs that everyone was in and he knew that we were catching up to the ones on front of us who were Todoroki, Shoji, and Tokoyami. Shoji had one of his arms cut off and he and Todoroki were hiding.
Tokoyami's dark shadow was huge and spinning out of control. It roared as it attacked a man. I was too distracted by the other to pay attention.
Midoriya had somehow came up with the idea to make make dark shadows anger useful.
This was all kinds of bad.
