When we Fall Pt. 2

I was running along side Shoji who was carrying Midoriya on his back while Todoroki ran with me. Behind us, dark shadow had been chasing us to the man who had been making the horrible gas that was knocking everyone out.

I hadn't been paying attention, but apparently, the league of villains were after Bakugou. Midoriya and alerted Mandalay who had received permission from Aizawa-sensei to use our quirks which I happily used mine to fly.

We came across Bakugou and a few others while we tried to figure out a way to get him out safely. We had been traveling through the forest when we were so close to the camp house, Tokoyami and Bakugou went missing.

"Where are Bakugou and Tokoyami?!" I panicked, looking around.

Sure enough, two villains appeared. A man with a mask and a man with black hair and covered in scars.

"Looking for these two?" The masked one asked, holding up two beads.

"They must be in there somehow." Todoroki said bracing himself. Then black haired one turned sharply to him and that set of my inner alarms. I covered Todoroki slightly and the scarred man looked at me.

"Oh! You're that other one we were looking for." He said motioning to me. He took the beads from the masked man.

"Now come with us so your friends don't get hurt." He wagged the beads in the air threateningly.

I gritted my teeth and looked around. We were helpless in this situation.

I started to step forward but a cold hand grabbed mine. I turned to see Todoroki shake his head and pull me back. His arm settled around me protectively and I sighed.

I pushed against him and charged at the scarred man. I knocked the beads out of his hand and Shoji managed to catch one while the man grabbed the other.

I landed on the ground hard, right on my broken rib.

I heard a small snapping sound. I must have broken it further. I punched the ground and a pillar of hearth shot towards the man with the mask.

He dodged it and a portal opened. He hopped through it while the scarred man backed up with the bead. I tried to charge, but I couldn't move. The beads shone for a second before they reverted back to people. Shoji was holding Tokoyami so . . . I whipped my head to the portal to see Bakugou being dragged by his throat into the portal.

Todoroki and I charged for the portal only to be met with Bakugou's ruby red eyes.

"Stay back!" He shouted, causing Todoroki and I to freeze. Bakugou looked at me, direct eye contact while I shouted his name.

"BAKUGOU!" I shouted when the portal disappeared.

I couldn't save him.

I collapsed, losing conscious from my injury.

~Time Skip~

I woke up in a hospital, looking around for someone, anyone, adn was met with a empty room. I looked at my stomach to see I was shirtless and my entire torso was covered with bandages. Kind like a dress of bandages. I was wearing some sweat pants and I swung out of bed. Feeling great.

But terrible at the same time.

I looked out my window, thinking about the recent turn of events. My room door opened and I turned to see Kirishima and Todoroki walk in with Midoriya.

"Hey guys." I said. My voice sounded a little croaky and my breathing needed a minute, but I was great otherwise.

"(Y/N)!" Midoriya said cheerfully. He came over and climbed on to my bed to hug me.

"Hi Mido." I said quietly. He pulled back and frowned at my sorrowful face.

"I know your thinking about him. And we have a plan." He said looking at Kirishima and Todoroki. Kirishima climbed onto my bed as well, putting an arm around my shoulders and pulling me close.

"We need you though." He said.

"You mean you want her. You can't involve her in your plan without her consent and her knowledge. (Y/N) doesn't make as many mistakes as you do." I heard Iida say.

I turned to see him and the others walk into my room.

"What . . . ." I said looking at all of their concerned and relieved faces when they saw me. Mina jumped on the bed, jostling Midoriya, Kirishima and I.

"You're okay!" She cheered silently.

"Yeah I am. Now tell me about this plan. I'm already hyped up on adrenaline." I said looking at Todoroki.

Iida's jaw dropped.

"(Y/N), you are the top student of Class 1-A, you really want to intervene in something as dangerous and reckless as this?" He asked.

"It's a shame to say that Bakugou wouldn't do the same for me, but I at least know he would if it meant surpassing All Might." I said dryly. Midoriya patted my back reassuringly.

"But he's a classmate. ANd hopefully someday, a friend. But I can't leave a classmate in harms way. I would do the same for any of you. Well, except for Mineta, but the league of villains have no reason to kidnap him. So we're all good there."

A few of my classmates chuckled but the rest looked unsure.

"You still look pretty injured (Y/N)." Tsuyu said. "And if you go against the law even if it is for the right reason, aren't you acting like villains?" She said.

I saw Midoriya and Kirishima flinch, her words stabbing into their hearts. But I wouldn't allow that.

"Asui." I said looking at her.

"If I sit here while a dear classmate could possibly be dying right now, could I ever call myself a hero knowing I could have save him, but let a few rules stop me? No, I would probably die of depression. Bakugou is someone you look up to no matter how much of a pain in the ass he can be."

I looked around the room. I sighed and settled for the window.

"Besides. Isn't it reassuring to know I would die for any of you?"

I saw heads stare at me out of the corner of my eye.

"So at least let me do this for you. All of you." I looked at Midoriya.

I slid out of bed and stretched.

"How unlady-like (Y/N)!" I heard Momo say.

"What?" I looked at her. The boys had averted their gazes and the girls were staring at my body.

I looked down to see the bandages around me.

"I mean, technically, I'm covered, so nobody's gonna die." I said laughing. I turned seriously at the three boys from earlier.

"Who's going and when are we doing this?" I asked.

~Time Skip~

Momo Yao had made us disguises to wear while we made our way to the tracker location she had attached to one of the villains during the attack in the woods.

"Okay." I had said a hour before. "I'm not able to make more than two people fly, so they are gonna have to be very important people. It can't be Todo since he's making the ramp, Iida doesn't want to get involved. Mido is already going with for support and strength, so that leaves Kirishima and Momo. Who's gonna come?"

Momo cleared her throat.

"I'm in a dress." She said simply.

"I'm in a skirt, you still see me going. I told you to get me jeans, but nooooo. Momo Yaoyorozu thought I would looks cute in a skirt, so she decided to buy one." I said tugging at the short-ish black skirt she had bought me for the disguise.

"And you do look cute." She said.

"Not helping." I snapped.

"Guys!" Kirishima snapped.

"Right right. So since I'll be flying us, I wouldn't be able to pick Bakugou up. He'll have to come to us himself. So I'll need Kirishima and Midoriya to call to him. He'll listen to either of you since he likes you two the most." I said.

Kirishima and Midoriya looked at me with confusion.

"(Y/N), Bakugou likes you the most." Kirishima said. Midoriya nodded.

"Kacchan doesn't even yell at you. He keeps away from you and leaves you alone."

I shrugged.

"He leaves Shoji, Koda, Tokoyami, and Mineta alone. Hagakure and Momo. So It's not like I'm the only one. He just sticks with the people who involve themselves with him." I said.

I stood up and motioned to the street that led to the league of villains hideout.

"Now we got a job to do."

~Present~

We were peering around a corner of the battle to see pro heroes vs villains. I saw Bakugou in the middle of a few low tier villains. He knew he wasn't allowed to fight, but he could see All Might was holding back because he was there.

"TODOROKI, NOW!!!" Momo shouted. I ran, faster than I had ever before.

Todoroki shot and huge ramp of ice that I slid on. I was tailed by Midoriya and Kirishima, while Kirishima wrapped one arm around my waist while Midoriya got in front of me and leapt into the air with incredible strength.

I flew up behind him while flying Kirishima with me who hung on. We were flying high above the battlefield, looking for a safe space while I Bakugou spotted us through our yelling.

Bakugou looked up at us, while Midoriya towed us behind him so I could help Kirishima.

"BAKUGOU!" I shouted. He looked at me and I held out the hand that wasn't holding Midoriya's.

"Let's go man!" Kirishima shouted down at him.

"You wanna be better than All Might right? Then get up here!" I shouted.

His eyes widened and his haw dropped slightly. He clenched his fist and blasted himself into the air. Getting higher and higher, he caught up to us, and grabbed both mine and Kirishima's hand in his own.

I saw us flying one second and fallin the next. A villain tried to grab us, but he was blown off by Bakugou.

"Ready Mido?!" I shouted to Midoriya.

"LANDING!" He shouted back. We hit hard. Landing practically everywhere. I got up fast and quickly lifted the three. I was able to lift only three people at a time including myself. But If I wasn't flying, I could lift three people.

I quickly moved them over the the hiding are where Momo Todoroki and Iida were. We all quickly ran into the city where we were surrounded by crowds and the villains wouldn't dare chase us.

We were all panting and breathing hard. I could hear a small conversation but ignored everything around me except for the screen in the plaza of the city. On it, was the fight between All Might and the scary looking villain. He had been using multiple quirks to take down all the other pro heroes, where All Might stepped in and was currently battling him.

Everyone's eyes were glued to the screen, watching at All Might's strength almost tripled and he went to take down the very powerful villain.

Everyone was screaming his name, cheering him on, helping him go Plus Ultra. I stood there, shocked by what went down before my eyes. When All Might took the man down. The smoke and dust had cleared . . . . . . and there stood the man who I had seen at the USJ that day.

He pointed at the screen and said.

"Now it's your turn."

I turned around to see Midoriya sobbing and Bakugou looking at him strangely.

I was too tired to care. I think my wound had opened. I opened the black jacket to reveal the white button shirt Momo had gotten to match the skirt.

There was a splotch of red spreading across my shirt around my ribcage.

"Fuck . . . ." The other turned at the word that came out of my mind and their eyes widened.

"(Y/N)!" Midoriya shouted.

They quickly came over while Bakugou stood and stared.

"Oh no! You should have stay with Iida and I." Momo said creating a cloth and pressing is against my shirt.

"No, it's fine. I wanted to do this." I panted, pain spreading across my body. "Let's just go back to the hospital." I said.
