School has finally ended and summer has finally begun. Word soon spread about Jack's System. He had the second highest System Rank possible and was only behind the top student in the school who was Platinum ranked. She was stronger than everyone one of the teachers.
Her name was Kate Love. She was the daughter of a prestigious family and was the richest in the region. She had her own little posse that followed her around everywhere she went. She almost had no time to herself because if them but she didn't mind all too much because they would do anything she asked of them. She was also a very pretty girl. A Senior as if the upcoming year she was considered to be a Queen among commoners.
Back at Jack and Quinns place, Jack was training. Quinn couldn't do much as he was still recovering but he still didn't understand why Jack was training. 'Wasn't there going to be a Training Camp?'
"Hey Jack, do you kind me asking why you are training when theres a training camp in two weeks? Why not just wait like everyone else?"
Jack stopped training for a bit to make a protein shake so he answered Quinn's question.
"I am behind, that's why. I have only two days with my System while everyone else has had their entire lives. Even if they're not stronger than me, they're more accustomed to their System than I am with mine."
Quinn seemed satisfied with the answer he was given and didn't ask again. He knew that Jack was right. He isnt used to his System at all. He doesnt know what kind of backlash his System could have on him or any secret tricks that it can do.
Jack chugged down his shake and went back to training but this time went outside. He was going for a run to push his endurance to the max. He was also gonna run through Monster Forest. It was a training grounds for people with a System level under 5. You can train after that but the effects are less.
.....
Two hours passed of Jack running full speed towards Monster Forest. When he reached there it was dark outside and people were leaving the forest. The monsters are stronger during the night than during the day.
[Quest: Kill 15 Goblins for +1 Lvl]
Jack had gotten another quest but this one was weird. From what he knew, the only prizes you can get from a quest are items or XP. Hes never heard of a full Lvl up before. Jack was confused but took advantage of the situation.
"Only 15 Goblins? With my strength, this should be a breeze."
Jack entered the forest and searched for Goblins. After about 20 minutes of searching he finally found a nest. Upon observation there seemed to be about 20 Goblins in total, more than enough to fulfill his quest.
Jack was trying to sneak up on the Goblins so that he could have the best chance at making this fight quick, but he stepped on a twig causing it to snap. As fast as Jack could react to the noise the Goblins were already closing in on his position. Jack wanted to run but his desire to fulfill his quest made him stay.
The first wave of Goblins consisted of 3 Goblins with daggers and 3 Goblins with Spears and Shields. Due to it being night, their stats were doubled and Jack knew he had to be careful as to not be surrounded. As a defensive maneuver he charged at the 3 Goblins with daggers and attacked. Three swift punches and the 3 Goblins were down.
[3 Goblins Defeated: +30 XP]
Jack ignored the notification and charged at the 3 Goblins with shields. The shields were tough, it took Jack 2 punches to break threw them and one more to defeat the Goblin. He repeated this 2 more times and defeated all the Goblins that charged at him first.
[3 Shield Goblins Defeated: +45 XP]
'That adds up to 75 XP, meaning if I add that to the 23 I already had, I should be at 98 total XP.' Jack was calculating in his head to see how many more Goblins he had to defeat to Lvl up. Before he could finish his calculations the rest of the Goblins attacked.
14 Goblins strong, 9 regular and 5 shield. 'That should be enough.' Jack picked up a dagger from one of the Goblins he defeated and threw it at the incoming horde. He hit his first target but instead of stopping it pierced through and killed a total of 3 Goblins. Seeing this, Jack picked up the other two daggers and threw them at the Goblins. He had the same result as the first throw with the second and third. This meant that all that was left was the Shield Goblins.
Instead of punching the Shield Goblins, Jack tried kicking them. He knew that legs are generally stronger than arms so it should so more damage. His assumption was right as he was able to defeat the Shield Goblins with one kick each.
[9 Goblins Defeated: +90 XP]
[5 Shield Goblins Defeated: +75 XP]
[Quest completed: +1 Lvl]
Feeling accomplished, Jack sat down in the now abandoned Goblin camp to rest. 'Stats'

Jack was satisfied with the results if his training so far, but he didn't know what he should do with his Stat points. What category should he put them in? What kind of difference will it make?
To Jack there were just too many unknowns for him to do something he could end up regretting in the future. Jack ultimately decided to leave them alone and keep stacking them.
[Quest: Survive the night in the forest +2 Lvl]
When Jack saw the quest he nearly thought about abandoning it and getting out of the forest. He didn't want to stay the whole night as there are monsters that he cant defeat at his level in the forest. He stayed through, even though his every instinct was telling him to leave.
Jack got up and started walking around. If he was going to stay in this forest for the whole night he was either going to train or find somewhere to sleep. He found a cave after about 10 minutes, but there was a pack of Dire wolves in there that he didn't feel like fighting so he left them alone.
Jack was strolling around the forest for a couple hours, killing any stray Goblins or Imps he could find. He was able to kill the occasional boar when they weren't looking at him.
Just when Jack was about to climb a tree to find a place to sleep he was attacked by a snake. Thisbdnake was known as a Titanoboa, the most powerful snake monster in the forest. The snake had a huge power advantage over Jack, but Jack was quicker so he was able to dodge quite easily. When Jack landed his first hit he did massive damage, but the snake had a ton of health.
[Titanoboa Hit: 13000]
[Opponent Health: 27000/40000]
Jack tried hitting the Titanoboa once more but it countered and bit his hand.
[Health: 150]
After Jack got hit he knew that he was close to death, but he wanted to defeat this enemy.
[Virtuous Intent Activated: ×2 all offensive stats.]
Jack saw the notification and charged at the snake. It was clearly surprised as it didn't dodge or counter. It wouldn't have been able to either, by the time Jack started his charge he was already directly in front of it. He was able to punch the snake 2 more times before it fell.
[Titanoboa Defeated: +150 XP]
[Lvl 4 reached: 113/400 XP]
