I'm soon going to be your husband!

Asher was in a great mood when he saw his Angel being so interested in knowing more about him.

Aylin, on the other hand, speechlessly looked at both her sister and brother-in-law, who were sitting in front of her, and completely ignoring her in the process of getting to know each other.

Despite this, Aylin didn't really feel unhappy about the situation.

Instead, when she saw her sister chatting with Asher, she felt glad.

This was because, Aylin had always known that although her sister, Aelia appeared cold and rarely spoke up about her feelings, she was actually a very warm-hearted person.

In fact, Aylin had been quite worried about her sister. Ever since their mother's disappearance, she helplessly watched as Aelia reinforced the iron fortress around her heart.

Now, seeing her sister at least talking and joking with her future brother-in-law, Aylin could finally sigh in relief. She felt that Asher might be the only one who could make her sister smile so much and crack jokes, though it might have been at his own expense.

What Aylin did not know was that the warm-hearted and friendly brother-in-law, that she now saw in front of her, was actually a very rare occurrence.

In fact, if Asher's own secretary, Julian had seen this side of the Crown Prince, he would have surely risked his life to take a picture of His Highness smiling and joking around with his fiancée.

Soon, they reached the shopping plaza.

As soon as Asher parked the car in a parking space, Aylin quickly got out of the car.

She felt that if she stayed cooped in the car any longer, the pink bubbles surrounding Aelia and Asher might blow up in her face.

As Aelia unbuckled her seat belt and was about to open the door, she saw Asher, who had already stepped out of the car, opening the door for her.

Previously, Aelia had always felt that such chivalrous gestures were just another front for regarding women as the helpless and weaker sex.

However, as Asher held the door open for her, Aelia did not feel that Asher was belittling her in any way. Rather she could feel Asher's care and interest towards her.

Now, she finally understood. She should not have generalised an action just based on her own thoughts. What actually mattered was the thoughts of the parties involved.

If Asher had just opened the door for her as a thoughtless gesture that had been ingrained in him, she could have considered this as hypocrisy.

But, now all she felt from him were his care and warmth for her.

Aelia stepped out of the car and quickly walked towards her sister, who was standing some distance away.

Asher did not miss the blush and small smile that his Angel had tried to hide by quickly running away from him.

Though Asher saw this, he did not mention it to his Angel. He knew if he pestered her too much, she might run back into her shell.

When Aelia saw the teasing look on her sister's face, she could only pretend that she neither see nor understand anything.

In reality, Aelia felt that she could not have a proper hold over her emotions when it came to Asher.

She kept telling herself that their engagement was possibly due to the prophecy, but she had already started doubting it.

Though they had actually met only a day ago, Aelia could still feel the deep emotions Asher felt towards her.

But she could not understand how it was possible for someone to feel that deeply for a person, whom he had only met a day ago.

Aelia wondered if what Asher felt for her was actually a sense of responsibility.

As she kept thinking about it, she felt that she was overthinking everything.

'It's better to just let nature take its course. Time will prove whatever feelings he has for me.'

After coming to this decision, Aelia finally let go and started to pay attention to her sister, who was telling Asher various anecdotes from their childhood.

Aylin soon brought the both of them towards a shop that belonged to Aelia's favourite brand of clothes.

As the two sisters walked around the shop and picked various sets of clothes to try on, Asher sat down to watch his Angel.

After watching her for some time, Asher felt that he had learnt something new about his Angel.

He looked and saw that though Aelia often wore simple clothes, she was quite picky about her clothing. He realised that, in fact, his Angel had a very good sense of style.

Asher had guessed this quite correctly. Though Aelia gave a lot of focus on comfort while buying clothes, she also liked her outfits to be fashionable and trendy.

Aelia guessed that this time her trip to Delphia might include some arduous activities.

So, she bought a couple of shorts, a few full-sleeved tees and another set of halter tops. She also bought a waterproof jacket and two knee-length dresses that she felt were easy to move in.

As for the more formal outfits, she felt that it was better to just arrange for them in Delphia, rather than hauling a whole bunch of outfits along with her.

As Aelia tried out each piece of clothing, she could feel Asher's constant gaze on her.

Her cheeks involuntarily turned warm, so she quickly rushed back to the trial room to try out another outfit.

After Aelia put on one of the dress, she realised that she could not reach the zip at the back however she tried.

After a few minutes of trying, Aelia finally gave up and poked her head outside the curtain of the dressing room to look for her sister.

But, when she looked around she could not see Aylin anywhere.

She turned to Asher who was sitting across the room and asked, "Where's my sister?"

Asher got up from his seat and replied while slowly approaching Aelia.

"She went to change one of her outfits. Why? What's the matter?"

Hearing Asher's reply Aelia could only sigh and say, "Nevermind!"

As Aelia was about to retreat her head behind the curtains, she was stopped from doing so by Asher's question.

"Do you need any help?"

Aelia was about to say no, when she saw a shop assistant staring at them with a knowing look.

Seeing this Aelia felt extremely embarrassed and opened her mouth to explain that the shop assistant had got them wrong.

Unfortunately, when the shop assistant saw Aelia looking at her, she misjudged the situation further and thought Aelia was hesitating to let Asher into the dressing room, due to her presence.

Before Aelia could even open her mouth to explain the situation, the shop assistant interrupted her, "Miss, don't worry! You can let your boyfriend into the dressing room to help you. If you feel uncomfortable due to my presence, I'll go. You can just push this button here, if you need any help."

Aelia could only helplessly watch as the shop assistant strode away further for them.

She really wanted to point out to the assistant what was the point of pushing the button for help, when the assistant had run away when she saw Aelia actually needing help.

Aelia sighed and turned towards Asher ready to say that she didn't need any help, when she was again interrupted from speaking.

"Angel, you don't have to feel embarrassed to ask me for help. After all, I'm soon going to be your husband."

Aelia watched in shock as Asher directly strode into the dressing room after speaking.
